Peter (8/5): - The property is in a quiet location in the foothills of the white mountains. It's about a 20-30 minute drive to a nice beach at Kalyves. There is a pool on site, which was cleaned every day and well kept gardens The villa had a lounge/diner/kitchenette and toilet on the ground floor (with a sofa bed) and on the first floor a double bedroom and bathroom. The TV was upstairs, meaning you could only watch it in bed, and the air conditioner kept the bedroom lovely and cool, but left the downstairs horribly hot. Of note, the stairs were extremely steep. We only felt happy going up or down holding the handrail and had to descend with our feet sideways on the steps.. Anyone would restricted mobility would best avoid this property, in my view. So, a nice location but we wouldn't go again due to the stairs, having the TV in the bedroom and the air conditioning only working in the bedroom.
Verified traveler (10/5): petit coin de paradis au calme avec cette maisonne - Un vrai petit coin de paradis : Jolie petite maison avec un petit séjour (un lit, un espace pour manger, une mini cuisine et une toilette) et à l’etage, une chambre climatisé, une salle de bain et une terrasse. Joli jardin autour de chaque maison (4), avec du soleil et de l’ombre et piscine agréable qui surplombe la valee. Communication très facile (plutôt par mail) avec nicolas. Belle situation pour explorer Réthymnon, hania et le sud ( hora Sfakion )... merci pour tout !
Micha?l (10/5): Un séjour au calme - Nous avons passé quatre jours et trois nuits dans une des 4 maisons de Stratos Villas dans le village de Melidoni, à 40 minutes en voiture de Chania (La Canée). Le bilan est très positif : le cadre est très original, la vue superbe, l'environnement calme et agréable. Notre maisonnette de pierre était très confortable avec un salon / cuisine au rez-de-chaussée, ainsi qu'une chambre et une salle de bain à l'étage. La maison est bien équipée (linge de maison, ustensiles pour la cuisine, équipement général, climatisation, un WC au rez-de chaussée et un autre dans la salle de bain), il y a même une cheminée! La maison était très propre, les abords de la maison sont fleuris et bien entretenus. Un petit chat très sympathique y passe parfois. La piscine accessible à tous les hôtes est petite mais très agréable, les transats qui l'entourent sont en bon état et en nombre suffisant pour tout le monde. Nous avons été accueillis avec un panier de nèfles cueillies dans le jardin, des fleurs fraîches, 2 parts de gâteau, une bouteille de vin local et bien sûr le traditionnel raki! Pour aller à Melidoni il faut posséder un véhicule (et un GPS!) car les Stratos villas ne sont accessibles que par ce moyen, vous trouverez dans le village de Vamos qui est à une dizaine de minutes de route tout ce qu'il faut pour faire les courses ou vous restaurer. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans ce lieu et le recommandons vivement à toute personne qui aime la campagne et la tranquillité.
