Guest Reviews
- collino243 (10/5): Home Away From Home - I had a wonderful stay at the 4 Pines Motel and can’t recommend it enough. The owners are incredibly welcoming and genuinely kind — their hospitality really makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The location is perfect, just steps from the bakery and within easy walking distance of everything you need. The views of the surrounding mountains are absolutely beautiful and add so much to the experience. Every time I stay here, it truly feels like a home away from home. I’ll definitely be back.
- Carrie (10/5): - A/C worked very well, parking was convenient, very safe and comfortable beds!
- lori (8/5): - Rooms were clean. Good parking
And was nicw bed
- Anne (8/5): - Quiet area in small town. Staff helpful There were some shops nearby but we directed to a supermarket about 1 km away. Room was ideal for road trippers and looked as if cared for. Only downside was nylon bed spread
- Ann (8/5): - Quick friendly check in
- sandrapN460DS (8/5): Pleasant and clean motel - An older but comfortable motel and very good value for the price. It was impeccably clean and everything, including the very essential air conditioning worked well. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
- Pamela (8/5): - Staff very friendly. Room clean.
- Sandra (10/5): - Room was very clean, everything in good repair. Air conditioning worked well, and was not noisy.
- Anthony (6/5): - The room was very small and there were little ants in the room. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure. I would stay there again if there was nowhere else....

- Soni (8/5): - It’s convenient and walking distance for restaurants
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent - I was on a road trip with friends, we booked this motel at the last minute. We loved it. Comfy beds, cold fridge, hot shower with good pressure. Even a soaker tub with jets- I wish I had know, I wouldve brought a bath bomb! Staff was lovely, there is plenty of parking, and everything in town is a 5 min walk away. Will absolutely use this hotel again. Highly recommend!
- Brian (8/5): - No food/continental breakfast but not advertised either. Good value.
- Eli (10/5): - Good stay with great views
- Rebecca (8/5): - Good value. Not fancy, but clean, good Internet, friendly staff. Real glasses and cups and a fridge that didn’t freeze or produce.

- Marilyn (8/5): - .
- Tim (8/5): Lillooet on a Motorcyle - Just what I expected for the price. Yes I would stay here again.

- Chi Wai Ernest (8/5): - Room is clean and quiet. Room size is relatively smaller than other similar price models.
- Karen (8/5): - This is a clean basic hotel. No complaints! The customer service and the internet in the room was terrific.
- Scdancer54 (8/5): Good value. - This little motel is showing its age, but was clean and well-priced. Not fancy at all, but just fine for a night on the road from Vancouver to Prince George. The staff were friendly and helpful.
- Murray (10/5): - This property was very clean and quiet
- Karina (10/5): - Great little place for the price you pay. It's clean, has all the amenities in the room, staff are nice, very quiet. Recommend the A-bun-dance bakery 1 minute walk from the motel for breakfast!!
- David (10/5): - Quite, clean, hot water and good shower, easy parking at the door
- Alexis (10/5): - Clean
- Wanita (4/5): - Very small rooms and the bathroom is small with a toilet made for a toddler. Outdated older room and old furniture. Uncomfortable furniture
- Ray (8/5): - Best bed for my back. Most places are too soft.
- Scott (8/5): - Friendly, quiet, close to everything you need, great bed, view of mountains, excellent price, old-style motel charm
- Dave (10/5): - I appreciated the assistance from the manager when my car wouldn't start. He brought his own vehicle over and jump started my car. Much appreciated!
- corinne (8/5): - Convenient
- gardinerw (6/5): Centrally located and reasonably priced in Lillooet - Pretty basic motel in Lillooet but clean and reasonably priced. Right in town. Friendly booking and front office staff (John). Convenient parking right in front of the room. Local services inlcluding restaurants nearby. (Windown frames need a bit of work...a good winter project perhaps?)
- Kamal (8/5): - Rooms are adequate
- ben (2/5): - solo, two room suite....
- Luke (10/5): - Great deal for the price. It was clean, quiet, and the views were great! It is a motel, so keep your expectations in that range, but I'd gladly stay there again.
- Wilma (8/5): - Room was clean. Walkable to restaurants and shops. Nice and quiet in a beautiful setting.
- Christian (8/5): - Very clean
- Miles (8/5): - Walkable to everything.
- Katrina (10/5): - The staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, show a bit of age but tidy and comfortable. Has a beautiful mountan view and the laundry is relatively cheap.
- Gregory (8/5): - Real nice motel. Clean and quiet.
- Jessica (10/5): - I've stayed in 3 different hotels in Lillooet now, and this one was my favorite. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and i was gladly surprised that my room was a kitchenette (and well stocked at that!). Bed was comfortable, shower was hot. Will definetly be staying here again.
- Myles (10/5): - Very vlean
- Myles (10/5): - A Good value
- Tracy (10/5): - Enjoyed location and quiet Lovely people
- WilsonLin (8/5): Decent motel - I had a decent stay here at the 4 Pines Motel. I was here for work, and the room was incredibly clean and the staff were super friendly. It's right in town so location's great. Not a bad spot at all for a motel in Lillooet. There's enough parking for everyone, and close to all the rooms.
- 172herbl (8/5): A comfortable stay - We had a good stay. It was close to the Hockey rink. The rooms are a good size and felt fresh. The room had a kitchenette with plates, cutlery and pots. We reserved two queen beds, one being a separate bedroom and the unit was facing mountains with lots of natural light. Free parking.
- Georges (8/5): - The challenge was to find a clean property without any bed bugs in Lillooet. Well this motel was a very good surprise. Very clean, bed comfortable and easy parking. I recommend !
- Scott (2/5): - I woke up with 3 spider bites on my legs, bathroom was disgusting.
- Howard (10/5): - Property good surrounding area trash about
- Sen Qing (8/5): - nice place to stay
- victor (10/5): - Owner was in office to greet us. Had good information and was very courteous.
- rafaelmenoncwb (6/5): Not bad - A small motel in a small town, could not expect much. Good rate for the night, shower and amenities was very good.
Bed was not bad at all and wifi was great.
Negative points: curtain/window doesn’t open and air con was just fully dusty.
- Ian (10/5): - Friendly staff and a nice clean basic room at a decent price.
- Joan (8/5): - Liked the fresh towels daily as well as the overall cleanliness of the room.
My only issue was I had no access to WiFi in my room (but it did work in the parking lot). Not a big deal - more of a minor inconvenience. I did not let the host know, as I left the room fairly early each morning & returned each.evenimg after the office was closed.
Would absolutely stay there again.
- Kevin (4/5): - This motel was advertised has having renovated rooms. This is not the case. Our room was tired and dated. It was clean that's all.
- Lori (10/5): - Close to all amenities
- AMalthu (10/5): Room was very clean - I was very happy with the staff and hotel in general. The gentleman waited up till 8 for me to arrive from Vancouver. The room was dated which is to be expected however was IMPECCIBLY clean and well maintained.
- Waheed (10/5): - Looks good
- Paul (8/5): - Il n'y avait pas de séchoir dans la chambre.
- IAN (6/5): - Great location, but the carpet was badly stained, guess that's what you get on a special offer deal.
- Morris (8/5): - Nice quiet location
- Max (8/5): Does the job - Just what I needed - nothing less, nothing more
Very quiet area
TV Philipps disponible, endroit plutot calme, bonne adresse.
- Peter (8/5): - Friendly staff, good value for the money. Easy walk to restaurants. No complaints.
- Caroline (8/5): - The management was very friendly and the room was very clean.
- Jon (2/5): Would not stay here - Very unkept building and room
- Tome (10/5): - Lillooet is a small community. For the size this was a good place to stop. The staff were all very friendly. The motel is a little bit old and tired but it was clean!! If you need a hair dryer just ask at the front desk. We would stay there again
- Sean (8/5): - Owners were very polite and helpful. As advertised. Quiet.
- Colin (10/5): Great place - Awesome. Great shower and clean room.
- David (10/5): - Very pleasant owners and very nicely updated and spotless rooms. My new favorite motel in Lillooet!
- Laura_Geneva (10/5): Nice staff and clean room - The motel is located in a very small town. The room can be noisy but it was clean and big for one night stay. There is a little kitchen inside the room with a fridge.
There is a bakery next to the motel as they don’t have breakfast.
Free parking is available
- Garth (10/5): - Sometimes less is more. I had a great sleep and whilst the room was compact, it was clean and comfortable.
- Clarissa (6/5): Beds - Bed was to hard for my liking....but was over all ok
- Carrie (8/5): - Quaint spot. Only real downside was that it was -20 outside and because the heat was not on when i checked in the room was cold for a long while.
Service was great
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We had a pet friendly room that our pet had to go into the washroom to turn around in. No heads up on website about the renovations they are doing which interfered with our sleep. Room appeared clean until I moved the microwave to plug the coffee pot in and found another persons asthma inhaler behind it. LOVED LILLOOET!!! Will visit again but stay at a different hotel/motel.
- Jim (6/5): - Property was mid-town and close access to local restaurants and shopping.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The check in was friendly and the water pressure was great but the place is glued together with caulking and the sheets were so old we could see through them. I asked if we were in a “ new room” and she said we were in what we reserved??
- Jennifer (6/5): - Great customer service but there were holes in the bathroom wall. If staying here ask to be in the new wing. The old wing is very dated and only has a shower.
- Leigh-Anna (8/5): - Comfortable. Smells like an old hotel room. Bathroom was recently redone. Very small shower stall and odd pipes from side of sink but very clean and cared for. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Liked it..... On a road trip and finding nice/quiet/clean/reasonable price for 2 people was great.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - So close to the hospital and the rest of downtown Lillooet. Basic amenities but everything is clean, and staff are amazing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Basic, clean room. A bit old, but there was a whirlpool bath in the suite. It was pleasant enough. Very pretty setting. Lilooet is a lovely town. Friendly town, good walk to cafes and the bakery for good food. There is an interesting museum across from the motel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a good stay. There isn't a lot of good lodging in Lillooet, so this hotel was a decent choice. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It also seemed as though the walls had very good sound insulation. I could hear talking and a TV outside the room next to us, but couldn't hear them from inside the room. That was impressive.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Central but a bit of a dump. Saw 4 hotels over one weekend due to a few of us staying in Lillooet that weekend. This was definitely the worst out of all of them. On the plus side, air conditioning works, blinds are dark and staff was friendly.
- BCbikeGuy (8/5): Good value for money.. Clean and comfortable - This is an older property but well maintained. It is well off the highway so it's quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but adequate and the bed comfortable. Quite good for a short stay while on a road trip.
- cornerstone13 (6/5): Fine for a one night stay - We stayed here during our 14 night Canadian Rockies road trip in June 2019 for one night.
Lillouet itself is a little town bordered by mountains and with the highway, river and railroad running through. There is not much going on in the town and not too many places to eat (that we saw).
The motel itself is tired and dated, the rooms are very small and, although providing a kitchen area with dining table, there is only one chair. It was perfectly clean and the wifi was fast. The rate we paid was reasonable for the facility.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - We liked the cleanliness of the bed and bathroom but the carpet was very dirty and we have to close the door to the balcony with a piece of wood!
There wasn't a possibilty for cooking, no microwave and no cutlery.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff were good.. Hotel was nice and clean. No dirt anywhere
- 757jo777 (10/5): Good Choice of accommodation - We normally don’t use motels as a rule however we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of accommodation here, room spacious with comfortable beds. We also had a front room with a beautiful scenic view of the mountains.
- vincefroehler (2/5): Guaranteed Rugged - That's what the sign says when you roll into Lillooet, BC. That is not what I expect in a hotel/motel room.
I arrived in the village of Lillooet on business and due to a booking error (probably on my part) my usual hotel did not have a room for me to I went to my fall back and they were booked solid as well, so I started looking. The 4Pines Motel had their VACANCY sign lit up so I pulled in. The fellow at the desk said he had a couple of rooms left so I took one. Mistake! I was not able to run the AC (it's 35 degrees outside) because it sounded like it was full of gravel. I did not use the shower because of the mold I found in the bathroom and I slept fully dressed in top of the bedding because after all the other rugged bits in the room I was afraid to get in the bed. Unfortunately there was no other rooms available in the village.
I will be sure to confirm my hotel reservations going forward.
- JeremyL310 (8/5): Great Motel - This is a great little motel very clean staff a super friendly. Perfect place to stay if your on a motorcycle it is just of the Main Street with good parking. Great stop over spot if your circling thru from mainland as it is about halfway point. We will be staying again on our next ride.
- UWarrior84 (6/5): Quiet and simple travel through motel - Overall this motel was a simple stay and for the price we didn't have high expectations.
The front desk was polite and helpful.
The room felt clean, but had a strong perfume upon entry. This might not be the case for every room but we also found dead fruit flies on the bathroom counter.
Bed and linens appeared clean, and area is quiet.
I would stay here again if I had to travel through this area.
- RandyZ609 (8/5): Great value, clean, and quiet. - I gave this hotel a 4 star. Compared to the many places we have stayed it is probably a 3. But for this part of BC, off the beaten track, not much competition. It is a 4 on a relative basis. We stayed in the slightly newer portion. They had replaced the beds etc. somewhat recently. We came in late, had a quiet sleep, great bed and clean room, woke up to awesome mountain views out our window. Fridge and AC worked great.
Yes the caulking in the bathtub had some black spots, but clearly the place was cleaned. We even noticed them washing bedspreads in the morning.
Peak summer weekend and only 90 some dollars.
I had stayed here about 25 years earlier, before the add-ons. I talked to the friendly staff who knew the previous owners. Current owners have worked hard to keep the place up. No small task operating upcountry.
- Dramachic (2/5): Moldy Bathroom & Perfumed Carpets - Honestly we weren't expecting the Hilton for $85, but I was expecting at least clean. The whole room was overpowered with the scent of room fresheners. The bathroom shower had black mold and a hole in the ceiling. The beds were uncomfortable, and lacked covers on the box springs. Overall worth maybe a $45 room fee? Go visit the other local places, this one isn't worth the cost.
- Travel767386 (8/5): Good Value - We stayed there last September. Decent room at a great price. Friendly staff, AC worked, inexpensive. Lillooet is a nice little town, and this place is situated close to the main street.
We would definitely stay there again.
- kayakvanture (6/5): Good value while being on the road - The Motel is a good value spot for those traveling through and looking for a cheap and clean accommodation. The rooms are average sized, have fridge and actually real coffee cups and glasses. Bathroom is clean, however the building as such appears quite old and could use some renovation here and there.
- freddy077 (8/5): Great motel in lillooet - Quiet clean good price great service desk clerk friendly and helpful lillooet is a quaint community to visit lots of sites to see this motel is a good spot to stay in the area one block of Main Street
- Mvtravels2000 (4/5): Pretty Shabby - We stayed at 4 Pines for 2 nights, unfortunately we were put in an "older"room suite. It had a kitchenette, bedroom and pullout hide a bed. The dishes in the kitchenette were dirty. The carpets were stained, the hide a bed was very thin and all you could feel were springs. The bedroom bed was no better. The shower took 10 mins to get warm. The only okay thing about this hotel is that it is right in town and walking distance to restaurants and stores.
