- Amy (10/5): Best place I have ever stayed - The grounds are beautiful. The staff is excellent. Breakfast is great. Atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. Rooms are clean. Comfy beds and pillows. Nice towels. A little pricey, but so worth it. It can be a little spendy. But honestly, for what you get, the price is pretty worth it.
- Patti (10/5): - Everything about this property is awesome! Beautiful, safe, and oh so comfortable. The staff was amazing. We loved the walking trails, the rock garden and the outdoor space. Convienently located to Kauffman stadium. The experience was more than we could have expected
- Gayla (10/5): -

- Anita (10/5): - Great place, we stay here anytime we need to stay in KC. Love all the trails and walking paths, the fountains and rose gardens are beautiful.
- Michael (6/5): Very minimal hotel - Friendly staff. Not part of the building shown on website. It’s a tiny building in a parking lot, signage hard to find. Beds comfortable. Very clean. Very quiet. You must drive to restaurants close by. No room service. Breakfast bland and basic.
- Dick (10/5): - It’s an inviting space and well serviced.
- Eric (10/5): - Beautiful setting. Some what off the beaten path. An ideal setting for a retreat or conference.
- Thomas (10/5): Perfection - Absolutely clean, quiet, serene, not one issue or complaint. Place is a unique complex
- Jamie (10/5): - The property is on premises of Unity national headquarters, and we attended events there, so it was very convenient and personal.
- Juan (10/5): - Na
- John (10/5): - Nice quiet, out-of-the-way place yet centrally located in Kansas City, MO suburbs. Walking trail and golf course on the property
- Brittan (10/5): Nice stay - Nice quiet area, average comfort for a hotel. Clean room, good for a two night softball tournament trip. Unity Village is tough to navigate at night though.
- William (4/5): - The staff and property was great. It was just our beds. By far the worst mattress we've ever slept on. They must've got to the end of the construction phase, and realized they spent way to much money and went the cheap route for all the mattresses. Pretty sad because this place would be great if they upgrade them. People traveling hundreds of miles a day really need a good nights sleep so they can continue to drive and keep their families safe.
- Josh (10/5): It was as awesome as always -
- amy (10/5): - I would tell everyone to stay here. So clean and quiet with outstanding and kind staff. 10/10!
- Donna (10/5): Beautiful. - Loved our stay. Clean, beautiful, and friendly staff.
- Rhuan (8/5): - Good
- Devin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Super Clean Room! Very modern and excellent breakfast! We arrived late and the staff were fantastic.
- F8317JDgregoryb (10/5): Great and clean hotel in safe area - Great hotel in a safe area with kind and helpful staff. King suite which was large and clean plus came with free breakfast (pancakes, eggs, sausage, bagels, ready made muffins and danishes, coffee and assorted drinks). Additionally, free EV charging. Parking is located across the street, but not far from side entrance.
- Margaret (10/5): - We were in town for Christmas visiting. Great place to stay. It's very clean, quiet and friendly. Wonderful place.
- Lis (10/5): - Clean, friendly and peaceful. I particularly love the walking trails around the property. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
- Lisa (10/5): Great place to stay! - This hotel is on a religious complex but feels just like a hotel. Breakfast was good and everything was clean. It was very quiet and pretty. I would definitely stay here again!
- Candice (10/5): Nice clean hotel - If you’re looking for a nice quiet and clean hotel with great free breakfast options then this is the hotel to choose. We came in for a Chiefs game. Everything was clean, no smells or stains and NO bugs of any kind. I was happy with our stay, large campus area to explore as well.
- Denise (2/5): I booked the hotel room for family to visit for the holiday. It is a shame that the experience and u - The room that we had booked was located near lobby and a door. There was extremely loud noise all night, long, where we were not able to sleep. Due to the booking of the hotel, there was no other accommodations to relocate our stay unfortunate we had this type of experience. In fact, the first night we were unable to re-access the hotel after check-in and we’re not even able to utilize our room. The second night stay, we decided to move the barricade in order to access the entrance.
Would lead to closed entrances with barricades, making it an accessible after certain hours of night like 10 PM. In addition, the location of the actual hotel did not reflect on multiple location services or delivery services. It is recommended to update your Google maps location as well as other services used for guests and delivery providers to find your location.
- Brittany (10/5): Exceptional - I felt very safe, and the location was very pretty. really liked the walking trails near. Hotel parking definitely needs to be bigger.
maybe have better signage for the actual Hotel, GPS takes you to the other side of the Center.
- Jordan (10/5): - I enjoyed my recent stay at this establishment. Staff was very kind and helpful when needed. Rooms were comfortable and clean as well.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - The bed was firm and the pillows were soft. I will bring my own pillow next time. This will be by go to place for now on.
- Martha (8/5): - Everything was great, except the air conditioner in the room did not cool well.
- Matthew (10/5): - Beautiful room, quiet, SUPER clean and great atmosphere and amenities. The campus and hotel are definitely worth the visit!
- Tim (6/5): Nice and safe, beautiful environment. If you wish to sleep on a board and have breakfast elsewhere - Great place. Clean safe environment with lots of beautiful things in walking distance. The beds are comparable to essentially sleeping on box springs. One of my kids actually found the floor more comfortable.
The breakfast left ALOT to be desired.
Don’t drink whatever that garbage juice stuff is. Made me puke nearly immediately.
- John (10/5): - Amazing property, and fair price.
- Kirsten (10/5): Would stay again! - Very clean. Bed was not very comfortable.
- Melanie (10/5): - Will stay here again. Very clean, safe campus.
- Nancy (10/5): - We were centrally located to every where we needed to be.
- Bill (10/5): - Very clean room and quiet.
- Cailee (10/5): - Beautiful gem of a hotel!! Best service I have ever received at a hotel check in. Super quiet, clean, peaceful, and beautiful facility. No pool, but the grounds are so gorgeous that it didnt even matter! The courtyard with the fountains, architecture of the buildings, landscaping, and the labrynth were so fun to walk around. Rock garden and litle bridges were a hit with my daughter. Loved the cafe with artwork and GF options!! Great place to stop if driving by Kansas Coty. Was an added attraction to our trip!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Worth a try - This is our go to while in Lees Summit area. Everything is consistently excellent. Only thing I would change is a king size bed offering. Rooms are set in two queen bed layouts. Satellite TV is also fussy on occasion. Rooms are immaculate and breakfast bar is solid. I’d still give this place top marks!
- Robert (10/5): - Great place to stay, was not too busy and they keep the property secure with guards monitoring the roads. Overall I would stay here again, very modern and clean rooms.
- Cheryl (9/5): Superb - No pool
- Kristy (10/5): - Staff was super friendly
- TRACI (10/5): - The property was nice, quite and very clean. It's not close to food or shopping. It felt like I was at an empty college campus five miles out of town.
- Vue (10/5): - Very nice and clean love it.this is our second time stay here. And will come back here again in the future.
- Jennifer (10/5): Wonderful, relaxing property - Great property! Wonderful grounds and nature trail. Excellent breakfast. Love the 24 hour coffee and tea selections. Perhaps the cafe hours could be longer.
- Tiffini (10/5): Exceptional -
- THERESA (10/5): Great hotel! - Quiet hotel close to many things. Clean hotel, friendly service. I didn't have the complimentary breakfast but my husband said it was much better than other hotels we've been to. Would stay again.
- Janet (10/5): - This was the most quiet place we have ever stayed. Didn’t hear a thing and the place was full. Very clean.
- Rhonda (10/5): - Gorgeous property! Serene, relaxing, spiritual, historic—lovely hotel and good breakfast with friendly staff: a wonderful stay.
- Justine (8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (10/5): - Very very comfy and clean room and property. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Beautiful grounds, must be amazing in the summer. Very good stay!
- Adam (10/5): - .
- Phil (10/5): - This is a great, quiet spot to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city. All the construction around it is why I gave “area around the property” 4 stars instead of the 5 stars that I gave everything else but once that’s completed, I can’t find anything to complain about. I stayed 3 nights and never came close to running into any issues. Highly recommended.
I’d like to specifically to mention an employee there, Rose. She was there to check me in quickly. I had requested an early check-in & my room was all ready for me upon arrival. Rose was around often to always offer a warm smile & an “enjoy your day!” when I saw her.
- Aaron (8/5): Very good -
- Shelley (6/5): Clean but the beds are terrible - The hotel staff was very friendly and our hotel room was very spacious and clean. The beds were terrible. They don’t have any rooms with king size beds, just two “queen” size beds per room. I put queen in quotation because the beds seemed more like full size. My husband and I could not comfortably sleep in the same bed. And we’re not large people. The mattresses were rock hard. We had the two worst sleep nights while staying there. The bathroom was very clean but a little dated. The shower head was so small, it didn’t wash my whole body without me moving around. And again, I’m a small person.
There’s a cafe on the property that is supposed to have good coffee but it’s only open M-F, not on weekends. That seems a bit odd to me, it seems like the weekends would be the busiest times.
This hotel had great reviews which is why I chose it. I was very disappointed. I would not stay here again.
- Emilee (10/5): Love our new "Home Away From Home"! - My husband and I love this hotel! I brought my sisters here for a birthday weekend getaway and they LOVED everything - especially the trails nearby! Can't wait for our next stay here! Nothing bad, just excited for the construction to be done so we can see the full potential of this lovely spot!
- Tammi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brooklyn (10/5): - The safe was super helpful!
- Jason (10/5): - Very Clean. Phenomenal customer service!
- Kim (10/5): - Great service. Friendly people.
- Tashann (10/5): - My family loved the easy check-in. The room was very clean and beds comfortable.
- Jason (10/5): Great place to see a Chiefs game - Place was clean and quiet and the breakfast was very good. Also close to Arrowhead stadium and a lot of restaurants.
- Nelymar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jose Villar (10/5): - Hotel has a very friendly staff, it’s family friendly and the walks along the trails are very nice, when we stayed we had perfect weather outside as well.
- Kellie (10/5): Bravo! Well done! Exceptional - This is hands down one of the CLEANEST, nicest, most accommodating hotel I’ve EVER stayed in. Staff was happy and friendly every day. We were here for a week. Every hotel executive in the industry to stay here at least one night and model their business after Unity.
Rooms were quiet, spacious and well appointed. The goose down comforters on the bed were my favorite.
The breakfast, tea/coffee bar and daily fruit water were added touches that make this place far superior to others. You far surpass 5 star hotels we have stayed in.
I have family in KC, We will be back!
- Rasmussen (6/5): Pleasant -
- suebC7723LY (10/5): Beautiful facility - We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and everything is well maintained. The room was bright and cheerful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good with a nice variety. The hotel is part of the Unity campus but a separate facility. There is a walking trail which we enjoyed. This is a very nice hotel and among the best Comfort Inns we have stayed at.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gregg (10/5): - Very nice place to stay. Beautiful property
There was nothing I didn't like. Convenient as it was near my grandson!
- Pwhite907 (10/5): We will definitely be back! Thank you - The room was very clean! Very pleasant. Everyone was very nice. N/A
- Grace (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (8/5): Would stay there again. - Wedding was at this venue. Very limited parking, and somewhat difficult to find.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Roberta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keith (8/5): Very good -
- Hyon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alyssa (1/5): Racist and selfish encounters from the older woman at the front desk the entire stay and even 2 days -
- Angela (10/5): Amazing hotel - Very clean, very quiet and very friendly staff. Amazing hotel and such a beautiful area!
- Tiffany (5/5): Beautiful hotel, terrible beds and pillows. - The hotel itself and the grounds are REALLY nice! If we'd have felt up to it after sleeping horribly, we would have loved to explore more. The gentleman on evening shift at the desk said he only works Friday and Saturday nights but he was very knowledgeable about the hotel and its history and took the time to talk to my son and I about it. Make sure you ask about it! Very interesting. It was quiet and peaceful. The night supervisor was very accommodating when we asked for extra pillows to try to help our comfort and made some great suggestions of things for us to check out in Kansas City. The comfort level was almost non-existent. The beds are SO hard and the chair in the room wasn't any better. We have not slept much since the night before we left home. The lack of sleep didn't ruin our vacation but we were pretty wore out and didn't do everything we wanted to do simply because we were too tired and sore. Also, I booked two queen beds and what I was given was two full size beds. We have king size and queen size at home so we know how we all fit and there just wasn't enough room. The beds are honestly our only complaint. But it's a big enough issue that it's worth mentioning. If you need a softer bed to sleep well, this isn't the place for you. If you enjoy a mattress with zero give, then it's perfect! I thought at first it was just my own personal issue due to chronic pain, but my son and husband neither one slept any better than I did and are very sore after our stay. Also, bring your own pillows. The pillows at the hotel go flat just seconds after resting your head on them.
- Hilde (8/5): Very good - It was very complicated to change the reservation to four night through bookng.com
- Whisenhunt (10/5): The staff was accommodating with our needs for traveling in for a concert, they gave me recommendations on places to eat - It was beautiful and in a great location. Nothing
- Barbara (10/5): - Beautiful.
- Zack (10/5): - The staff was very kind to my daughter and I. They showed great customer service and were helpful with answers to any of our questions.
- Lexy (10/5): - Great place, very clean!
