- Michele (7/5): Great location - The staff ... front desk, housekeeping and maintenance were accommodating. No internet in the room. We had a day that there was no hot water in the room. We did hear that many of the guests didn't have TV. There was a fire alarm test done that we were unaware of. We were in the hotel napping at the time- a little notice would have gone a long way. There was a staff member that arrived almost every day with his music blasting around 0800 and when he was finished for the day he started his car allowing the music to blast while he and his coworkers would smoke cigarettes--- i find this VERY inappropriate for the parking lot of a hotel. The person in charge of the breakfast was almost demanding with attempting to obtain the breakfast ticket you couldn't even just get coffee without being confronted about your ticket.

- Shirley (10/5): A lovely relaxing stay all went smoothly fore our onward journey - The rooms are very comfortable and clean the room was huge service especially James in the bar , he was attentive and assisted us with food and drinks The bath was a little slippy so had put a towel down when showering.

Staff very helpful we had a delay and we were able to wait in the hotel lobby until we had to go to the airport. Breakfast wasn’t very nice. Good selection of cereals and pastries however the hot food is not replenished frequently. We couldn’t close the curtains in our room.

- philr807 (2/5): Horrible manage! - What a horrible place to stay! I highly recommend not staying here. My experience was horrible!!! I walked into a lobby full of about 50 people waiting for rooms. The front desk was staffed with one person, but there were three others standing around that weren't capable of checking anyone in. It didn't matter whether you were first in line, Platinum member, or anything else. Rooms were given out in no order. Water was not offered at the front desk nor were amenity points handed out. The GM blames the front desk when it's his fault the hotel was not staffed properly. I've spent over 2600 nights in Holiday inn properties and this tanks up there with my worst two or three experiences. The attached photo only shows the Waiting area. No chairs were offered by the staff. Other people were sitting on the floor in different hallways. What a joke! I brought my concerns to the GM and received a basic , "I don't care " attitude. I highly recommend that you stay away no matter how convenient it is for you!

Our room was as advertised - clean and comfy bed. It was strange that one side of the bed was missing a nightstand and lamp. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. There were no yogurts or bananas and it all looked a bit sad. Overall, in my experience a good place to stay when flying in/out.

- Kelli (9/5): Highly recommend for a stress-free to/from the MSY airport stay - The staff--especially Shawn our van driver--was amazing! Extremely helpful and friendly; above and beyond service. There was a problem with our room. The air conditioning was faulty and blew moldy water into the room. At about 10 pm I went down to the front desk to ask us to be moved. They quickly set that up, Shawn our porter, came and helped us with the bags and in the morning the hotel comped us breakfast! Our original room had an a/c problem, but the staff remedied it. I hope they get a person in to fix the unit but also dry/clean the carpet as it had a horrible mold smell and every surface was damp. All three of us began wheezing and coughing after an hour or so of trying to get to sleep. While James, our bartender was fantastic, the bar itself is understocked; no soda water and no sparkling wine/champagne. They do have spirits, beer and cider.

- jeffswork (8/5): Good stay - I had read the recent reviews and was a little worried but my experience was great. Right from the call from the airport to ask for the shuttle bus through to check out everything was as expected. Check in went well and my diamond status was rewarded with a free breakfast. Room was nice and cool and very clean with a great shower. The driver was there as soon as I collected my luggage. Breakfast buffet was ok but looked like the food had stood a while but the biscuits were out of this world. I’d noted someone said it was a long way from the airport but it took us 5 mins so didn’t understand that! Looking for a close place to the airport that is good, choose this one. Thanks folks you were great!!

You didn’t have any crown Royal, said they were out.You charging $4.00 for a draft beer. That ain’t happy hour where I come from. That’s probably why everyone was going else where to do their drinking.

And the hotel restaurant had an extremely limited menu (which did not match the online menu by the way). But overall i give it 5 stars and would definitely stay here again.
