• Marc Pallejà (7/5): Se salva gracias al desayuno - El desayuno, estaba increíble! Para lo poco que se paga que tenga desayuno incluido es la hostia! De los mejores desayunos que he tomado en Tailandia, con huevos revueltos calientes y hechos al instante, plato de fruta fresca cortada, magdalenas y tostadas de pan. La cama era bastante incómoda, parecida a un tablón de madera. El baño siempre estaba lleno de agua, parecía que el suelo de la ducha estuviera mal hecho, y el WiFi.. si no te conectabas en recepción no funcionaba bien.

Hay una sola ducha por piso, para dos habitaciones, es decir, 12 camas. No tiene ventilación y huele mal. Y la limpieza también es bastante mala.

The receptionist is very friendly, she is close to everything, for those who do not have a motorcycle she is excellent. Normal beds, medium cleaning but the guests do not collaborate, so it is not the fault of the hostel and its people who do not maintain or do not collect their vasuras. ... girls' hairs get stuck, if each one picks up theirs they stay clean. ....

(207bahts/nuit) - Petit déjeuner compris (oeuf frit, omelette ou brouillés) et "illimité" (tartines , gâteaux, etc) dans le prix, popcorn, équipement de plage et snorkling. Incroyable! Restaurant peu cher. Personnel pouvant paraître "taquin" mais très sympa. Serviettes fournies Papier toilette, savon, shampooing, sèche-cheveux, etc. Dortoir assez confortable. Plage superbe à 3 minutes à pied. Restaurants en tous genre, etc. Air conditionné coupé dans les chambres entre 10h et 16h (mais fonctionnant à l'accueil pendant ces heures). Équipements à la hauteur du prix, mais très suffisant pour un hostel. Route relativement bruyante à proximité.

• Kate (1/5): Bedbugs - The staff were friendly and kind. We went back the next day to tell the staff about the bedbugs and the nice reception lady gave us a full refund without us asking which was really nice. Unfortunately we had bedbugs so we left at half midnight and had to find somewhere else to stay in the middle of the night. We were on the top floor and it smelt very musty as clothes were hung on the banister and there wasn’t really any air flow. Beds were hard and our room smelt of paint.

• Philippe Cailleau (10/5): - J'ai déjà fait plusieurs séjours chez hub joy, le rapport qualité prix est parfait il n'y a rien a redire. Peut être juste faire une bonne révision des vélos mis a disposition. Endroit top je recommande 👍
• MANON (8/5): - L’emplacement est idéal, proche de la plage et avec de nombreux restaurants à proximité. Il est possible de réserver des excursions directement via l’hostel, ainsi que de louer un scooter. Le petit-déjeuner est un vrai plus : il est bien servi et apprécié. Enfin, le personnel est vraiment sympathique et accueillant. Espace commun propre. Le matelas est vraiment très dur, ce qui ne m’a pas permis de passer de très bonnes nuits. Je sais que c’est assez fréquent dans les auberges, mais en plus les draps présentaient quelques taches. Le Wi-Fi est parfois lent. Enfin, la machine à laver située dans le couloir est lancée tôt le matin et fait beaucoup de bruit.

Il a sa propre laverie et le petit déjeuner (copieux !) est compris dans le prix de la chambre. Les hôtes sont gentils et aidants. Le dispositif de fermeture de la chambre ne fonctionne pas de l’extérieur (le loquet ne se ferme pas automatiquement), donc bien veiller à sécuriser ses affaires de valeur dans les casiers à disposition devant les chambres (petits, les sacs ne rentrent pas, sauf petits sacs à main peut-être)

L’odeur dans les parties communes... Et le petit déjeuner n’est pas exceptionnel... Les matelas sont très durs et les draps sont tachés.
• Petra (10/5): Thank you very much! I would definitely extend again haha! <3 - I loved my stay in the Hub of Joys hostel. The location is perfect, just in the "kind of" centre of the island - 5 min walk to the Long Beach. Th position is also practical - just 10 min drive to the harbour to take a ferry. The staff is very friendly and keen to help with everything, to arrange any trip you want to do, any transportation you need to take, or to rent a scooter (everything with better price than I saw in other places). The room and facilities is exactly what you expect from hostel, I was staying in women dorm with 6 beds, so it felt pretty private and calm - little minus is only one shower for a whole floor, which can cause some "queues", but nothing crazy. What I have to point out is the perfect breakfast included - so many things and really nice so you can eat really well in the morning! :) I extended for a few days and definitely will come back if I will head to Koh Lanta again! Thank you very much!

• Bonzo (7/5): Dirty/sweaty bedsheets - cheap prices, great breakfast + prime location. - Complimentary lemon tea and nibbles when check-in. Breakfast = amazing Great opportunity to wake up early, meet new people, socialise, fuel yourself for the day then head to the beach (5 mins walk). Prime location - met loads of people, very social. Met loads of people playing volleyball at "everything else" who coincidentally were also staying at Hubs of Joy. Next to loads of other hostels. The bedsheets were dirty with stains and huge sweat marks. I asked them to be changed. The "new clean" sheets also had stains and sweat marks. I accepted as the price was cheap.

• Carolina (9/5): excelente - Camas cómodas con cortina, dan toallas, hay lockers para las cosas personales no entran mochilas grandes, el desayuno es muy bueno, dan un té y papitas de bienvenida mientras haces el check in, podes reservar taxy con ellos, es limpio, tiene mesas en recepción, restaurante con bueno precios, wifi. Hay lavadoras. Buena ubicación súper cerca de la playa y muchos locales de comida. Hay un solo baño para todo el room. El aire acondicionado funciona automáticamente a partir de una hora en la tarde, quise dormir una siesta antes y me morí de calor.

• Katerina (6/5): Simple but Friendly Stay - The lady at the front desk is very friendly. The free breakfast is nice, and the complimentary towel is a welcome touch. Very uncomfortable bed and cramped bedroom. The bed was hard and the room really narrow. But hey, it was very cheap, so… can’t complain too much!

• Róisín (8/5): - The free breakfast was lovely and the hostel was 2 mins from the beach. Also, I booked a mixed dorm but it was all women in my room which was nice. Just to note, on each floor there are 2 toilet stalls and 1 shower. The floors are always wet in these cubicles and they smell a little funky. The landing on each floor is always damp and room doors have to be manually locked.

• Savvas (3/5): The reception woman was horrible - . Firstly my check in lasted a quarter. She interrupted it I don't know how many times to do literally everything else only at the end to tell me to come back in two hours. At the check out she asked for my towel. There is no sign to say to bring the towels. They could had got their 100 baht towel together with their sheets. Instead she wanted me to climb 4 floors to get the towel. I had rented a scooter from the hostel and asked her to extend it one day. Not only did she refuse, because I was checking out, but also she demanded to give it back before my current contact expired. Other than that the door doesn't lock automatically. And 50% of the guests just don't have the mental capacity to figure out how to close the door properly so the lock alarm was going off all night long.
