• adhusny (8/5): 1740 Above Sea Level - It was my first time to stay in a Moutain Resort in winter, and i really likes the experince, the hotel has a panoramic view of the mountain, all the rooms has a balcony view a breath take view, also at the Hotel Lobby there is a big outside sitting aread to enjoy the view, the restaurany is so big and the food was delicios, for the fiest time in my life i stay in a room without TV, but who carres, i dont need it the view was enoght for me.

• abdohany (6/5): Breathtaking Views but Truly Disappointing Service - ​I recently stayed at Rooms Hotel Kazbegi and I have to be honest the location is absolutely stunning the hotel building itself is amazing, and the views are beyond beautiful It’s truly a masterpiece in terms of scenery. However, it is a massive shame that such a magnificent place is ruined by the staff’s cold and arrogant attitude. ​Almost no one here smiles or makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere feels heavy from the moment you walk in my experience with the receptionist during check-in set the tone for the entire stay despite arriving exhausted from the road she was cold and rushed me, I actually tried to be friendly and smiled, saying something like, "I think the suite deserves this price difference" just to lighten the mood. Instead of a professional response, she literally rolled her eyes, sighed with visible boredom, and snapped, "So which one will you take?" ​This same employee’s lack of care continued when I found that the $220 upgrade I paid for was actually higher than the online rates. When I politely pointed it out the next day, her only response was a rude, "So what do you want now? You already paid." Later, when my room's coffee machine was broken, she treated me with contempt again, assuming I didn't know how to use it. It took a professional Housekeeping Manager to finally realize the pipes were completely clogged and replace the entire machine. ​The restaurant was no better. For every single request even something as simple as a glass of white wine would condescendingly say "come again," pretending he couldn't understand basic English just to be arrogant. He did this with every single order I placed While the views are 5-star, the service doesn't even meet basic standards It’s a place where you feel like a burden rather than a guest.
• epingy (10/5): A Million-Dollar View at Rooms Kazbegi - Wow — Rooms Kazbegi, you are simply beautiful. The hotel’s layout, paired with that million-dollar view of Mount Kazbek (also spelled Kazbeg), is breathtaking. It’s the most famous and prominent peak in the area, part of the Greater Caucasus mountain range, standing tall at around 5,033 meters (16,512 feet). Truly iconic and unforgettable. I arrived late in the evening around 9:30 pm, completely exhausted after an 11-hour overnight train journey from Yerevan to Tbilisi. To make matters more adventurous, the road was closed halfway due to a truck accident. Long story short, I managed to get a last-minute cab once the road reopened. A tip for future travelers: always check road conditions before heading to the mountains — this is the only road in and out, and an important logistics route between Georgia and Russia. I spent three amazing nights at the hotel and absolutely loved being surrounded by the mountains. I took a cab (you can walk too, but make sure you have proper gear) to visit Gergeti Trinity Church, and I walked directly from the hotel to St. Elias the Prophet Church — both are stunning. The views are incredible from everywhere: your room, the breakfast dining area, and even the gym. Running on the treadmill with Mount Kazbek right in front of you has to be one of the most beautiful gym views in the world. A small disappointment was that the outdoor ice bath tub was closed. I asked about it but didn’t receive a clear explanation. That aside, this place was the absolute highlight of my three-week journey across the Caucasus region. Thank you, Rooms Kazbegi, for such a beautiful stay. These memories will stay with me for a long time.

• dhilank2015 (10/5): Fantastic locations and warm / cozy stay - Had a very short stay at the Rooms Kazbegi hotel. But was a very warm and cozy stay for all the family. Excellent views from the rooms and a nice wellness centre with heated swimming pool. Ms Nutsa at the front desk was extremely efficient with her work and made an easy check in process and check out.
• majedaD7212DL (6/5): Amazing location with beautiful views, but unfortunately the rooms and facilities did not justify the high price. - The location of the property is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking mountain views that truly make the stay memorable. The surrounding scenery and peaceful atmosphere are the main highlights and create a very special experience. However, the water boiler was extremely noisy and at times felt like being on board an airplane, which affected the overall comfort. On the downside, both the Twin and Double rooms were quite small, with no space to open luggage comfortably. The rooms did not have TVs, the lighting was dim, and the balcony lacked proper lighting as well. The bathroom design was also disappointing—during showering, water spread across the entire floor. Considering the price paid, I expected a better room layout and improved amenities.
• mattiec99 (4/5): Temper your expectations - I wish I could write a good review for this hotel. We intentionally booked a three night stay during a private custom tour of Georgia and Armenia because of positive press and its good views. It is perhaps the most well known hotel to international travellers to the country. I'll start with the positives: the staff is incredibly hard working and, security guards excepted, unfailingly polite. The view from our room was indeed spectacular and it's a pleasure to watch the the sleeping volcano as the light changes from dawn to dusk. I'll begin with what is really a minor quibble. I was somewhat disappointed by the decor. While there is an emphasis on local craft and products, the hotel is almost aggressively and intentionally international, and, as it's more than a dozen years old, at this point rather dated. Had it not been for the view, I would have thought I was at an urban chain hotel in any major American city. I couldn't help but feel that it was a missed opportunity to showcase its history as a Soviet era sanatorium. The reason I'm compelled to write my first poor tripadvisor review is because the hotel is very obviously understaffed. Once again, the cleaners, waiters, and everyone were very well mannered and very hard working - all of them. There simply weren't enough of them to offer a proper standard of service to be expected at a hotel of this caliber. Priority was consistently given to large tour groups (most of them staying only overnight) over a couple like us. This made for a rather dull experience, as it was difficult to strike up a conversation with fellow guests. The management made minimal effort to offer programming or its own group activities. We waited well over an hour to receive drinks (let alone the food) during our final dinner (for which we had made reservations). It might have been two before we received food. The few odd couples seated near us had a similar baffled reaction as we watched a large tour group seated near us receive course after course while we waited and waited. In short, I'm sure this is a lovely one night stay on a group tour. It is not a destination.
• SiddharthAgarwal (6/5): Rude staff in restaurants - The view of the kazbek mountain range from the hotel is amazing, facilities like indoor swimming pool are good. However the behavior of the staff at the restaurant is extremely poor. We asked for an omlette with veggies and they got us a plain omlette. We asked the server "Anie" if we can get something with veggies and she spoke in utter disdain "that's all the we have here". We asked for the manager and the staff nearby all started defending her. Her supervisor Tiel was also of not much help. I'm a marriott bonvoy lifetime platinum member and have never come across such poor staff. Hoping the marriott team can do some mystery visits and review their operations and reconsider the staff or the partnership altogether. An extremely disappointed guest who lost a little faith in the marriott institution
• samsanch (8/5): Just stay for the view! Mixed Experience! - Our stay at Rooms Kazbegi was a mix of highs and lows. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a valley view room, which was absolutely stunning - the view was breathtaking, and we could even see the church from our room! It was the perfect setting for our anniversary celebration. However, the room itself was quite basic and could benefit from some maintenance. Unfortunately, the daily room cleaning was not up to the mark, and the floor was often left dirty. Despite it being a lean period, the hotel was quite busy, and we found it challenging to find a table at breakfast every morning. The limited vegetarian options for breakfast were also disappointing. On the plus side, the pool was a nice touch, and we managed to squeeze in a swim during our 2-night stay. One major issue we faced was the language barrier, with most staff at breakfast unable to speak English, which made it difficult to communicate our needs. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but there are definitely areas for improvement. We hope that the hotel will address these issues to provide a better experience for future guests.
• J8301XO_ (8/5): Warm, Cozy, and Memorable — Except for the Restaurant - Amazing place to stay for 1–2 nights. Breathtaking views and the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. The hotel is very clean, wonderfully warm despite the cold weather outside, and all the staff truly do their best. We had a badly broken shower in our room, so they upgraded us — it was wonderful, thank you. You don’t even need any entertainment there — you can sit for hours just watching the mountains. There’s also a cute dog and a cat walking around the property from time to time, and it was lovely to spend some time with them. However, the restaurant experience is very frustrating. You can see people struggling just to place their orders, and then the staff forget to bring the food afterward. Prices are extremely high, plus an additional 18% VAT, yet the service is nonexistent.

The moment we arrived, we were blown away by the view the mountains look unreal, especially in the morning light. The hotel has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with that perfect mix of modern comfort and rustic charm. We spent hours on the terrace just chatting, drinking wine and watching the clouds move over Mount Kazbek pure magic. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help with a smile. Great food, cozy rooms and an unforgettable vibe. If you’re traveling with friends, this is the kind of place that makes you slow down and just enjoy life.
• sandraalex5565 (2/5): Stay here if you like tour groups and a very dated, substandard room and bed! - Rooms Kazbegi had a great view but everything else was substandard. Busy tour group hotel. Super crowded no place to sit for breakfast and dinner. Food was nothing special. The worst thing was the dated dingy room, with a cramped bathroom and useless shower. The bed was 40 years old, guaranteed to have a sore back in the morning. Loud hallway with doors slamming and noisy drunks until late hours. Staff were generally too busy to be helpful or even polite. Not worth the higher price, look for nearby cabins that are newer and have the same view.

We are group of 3 people so on the check in time my extra bed was not yet added , the reception informed me that the house keeper will add later but it took an hours and I have to remind the reception again. When the housekeeper later came to my room , she was bit rude to set up the extra bed with bad manner speaking the local language which I don’t understand but knew from the body language and facial expression . The 2 pool staffs also not welcome as well. The best thing from this hotel is the Amazing view.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had the basic amenities I needed for my stay. The bed was large and comfortable. The location was convenient, with great views. The property felt safe and well-maintained. Breakfast was excellent. Some areas could be improved, such as noise levels between rooms and the temperature of the water in the showers. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would consider staying here again in the future.

This was the perfect place to launch a climb up to the Trinity Cathedral.

• AgustinNieto (4/5): Disappointing Stay Despite the Views - I arrived at Rooms Kazbegi with high expectations based on the photos online. The views are indeed spectacular, but the hotel comes with too many downsides. The rooms are extremely noisy—you can hear footsteps from the room above, voices from neighbors, and people talking in the hallways. The tranquility I was hoping for simply wasn’t there. The restaurant serves good food, but the service is another story. They seem severely understaffed, with barely one waiter trying to handle many tables. As a result, I had to wait nearly 45 minutes for my dish, and even longer just to get the wine list. Good food is completely overshadowed by poor service. On top of that, what looked online like an exclusive retreat turned out to be an overcrowded, massive hotel. And of course, this is by no means a 5-star property, despite the impression you might get from its marketing. In short, I would not return and cannot recommend it.
• Logan (10/5): Fantastic hotel in a great location - The views from the hotel are fantastic, with great facilities in the pool, sauna and gym. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff very friendly. The bedroom was spacious. Only criticism was that the bathroom was a little small, and the shower is not fully enclosed so it floods the room slightly.
• HanyAbdelm0nem (2/5): Poor experience in an overrated hotel! - Pros: - Wonderful view from the room. - The food was very tasty for breakfast. - Nice location to walk directly to the natural mountains. Cons: - I stayed for three nights, and every day I asked for an extra bed but they ignored my request! The room was poorly maintained, as the shower was broken and couldn't mix hot and cold water easily. Some drawers were broken, and every day I had to ask and wait a long time to get my room cleaned. - If you care about hygiene and are not familiar with dealing with animals, be careful, as this hotel may not be your best option because you might find animals in the buffet. - There's a long wait for check-in. - The staff are not friendly at all, especially in the restaurant. They lack professionalism; for example, they gave me a number to serve my omelette at my table, and after more than 30 minutes I had to follow up, but they didn't even know the status of my order number! The hotel is very expensive comparing to the poor service they provide!

• chriseO829PD (2/5): Disappointed - I had very high hopes for this hotel but it failed on many levels , cold room with heating that didn’t seem to work , a shower that was scolding hot or freezing cold impossible to mix , no cupboard for clothes just a few hangers and that’s it , rugs all around the hotel that were tripping hazards , slow restaurant service , just average food and breakfast.
• 910galias (2/5): Not worth the money at all. Bad service and attitude - We booked a room for 3 adults - 3 beds and a mountain view. We confirmed twice with the hotel. When we arrived, we were given a room facing the mountain but we looked right at a building and there were only 2 beds with no space for a third. The room was not set up for 3 guests. The hotel finally "upgraded" us with the extra cost to a larger room. It took over an hour to get this settled. It was evening and we didn't get to the lobby for relaxing and food and drinks until around 10 pm. The next morning we again talked with the reception and they reduced cost to 50% and then finally decided to make the upgrade complimentary and asked what else they could do to make our stay better. When we later that evening asked if the compensation could be simply one piece of cake and a dish of ice cream, they said that the complimentary upgrade (which they needed to give us in any case) was enough of a compensation! This from a hotel which is supposed to be the best hotel. Beware. Our room had no door separating the bathroom from the bedroom. Only the toilet had a door. The shower is clear glass. Maybe good for a romantic couple, but otherwise, very unsuitable. The first evening, we tried to charge the food and drinks to the room, which was the arrangement with reception. However the server returned and told us we didn't have an account. We had to go with her to the reception. They fixed it but it was rather unpleasant. The only positive aspect is the breakfast, which is plentiful and varied with made-to-order eggs. The view from the lobby is amazing but not worth the poor customer service and reservation system (through Booking with 2 written confirmations from Rooms and one phone call to Rooms). It almost ruined our first night. It was upsetting and stressful and a lot of time was wasted after a full day of touring and hiking. They even said we should have known there wasn't room for another bed because they give the sq. meters on the site. Seriously? They assured us a room with three beds. I don't go around measuring. There can be misunderstandings...(even though this wasn't) but their way of dealing with this was sub-standard.

• jeford007 (8/5): Magical surroundings, good facilities - Can’t beat the views from Rooms Kazbegi - truly magical surroundings. The facilities on site (gym, pool, lounge area etc.) were good, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Two more constructive points: there was limited hanging space in the bedroom (no wardrobe), and the bathroom was small and poorly ventilated. Those points apart, it was a good overall experience.

When you inside you don't need anything, there are many place where you can work, speak or play in some games with your friends. • 891veredb (6/5): O.K but nothing more - ‏Even before we arrived in Georgia, we heard a lot about Rooms Hotel Kazbegi, and hence our expectations were high. We arrived at the end of August for three nights. ‏The view is amazing, the hotel design is warm and cozy, the food (when it finally arrives) is also delicious. The staff is very helpful. ‏At the same time, the restaurant outside and in the lobby is busy but the staff-to-guest ratio is not enough - the waiters are running around, but still we waited at least half an hour and sometimes more for everything we ordered. ‏The shower in the room is a nightmare. The rubber inside the shower hose has moved out of place and therefore the water sprays everywhere. Using the shower head is impossible due to engineering design (as they explained at the reception) and as a result - with every shower the entire room gets wet. On the first day we went to reception to ask them to fix the shower and they promised they would do so, but nothing changed… The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken… Instead of fixing it, Rooms found a creative solution – to put the paper on the doorknob or on the floor. Seriously?!? Annoying and not suitable for a hotel that claims to be five stars. The night is cool in the Kazbegi area, but the heating in the room cannot be turned on.

Rooms Kazbegi’s location and views are unbeatable; however, we felt that some comforts that were present in the sister hotel were missing here. We had a forest view room which had a stunning view of the mountains, just not Mount Kazbeg. The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony on which to take a coffee or tea break. The room was quite bare, though, with no TV or safe (not that we felt we needed either). Bathroom was clean with good water pressure, towels and robes, and a hairdryer. The pool/spa was a bit of a letdown as the steam room was out of service (and no one mentioned at check-in), while the sauna was tiny and constantly full. The restaurant had excellent Georgian food and an extensive bar menu, with fairly reasonable prices. My only qualm here was the free for all seating arrangement meant that you had to work at flagging down a waiter to take your order. Buffet breakfast in the same restaurant was great, with a delicious and speedy made to order egg/omelette station. All in all, we had a great time and this is probably the best option in Kazbegi - just be mindful of a few creature comforts that were missing.

Pool tiles were chipped and my daughter got her foot scrapped in several parts and left the pool bleeding profusely. Shower hot and cold knobs were too sensitive and took ages to set to the right temperature. No wet/dry area clear separation, and whole bathroom was wet post a shower.

No wooden hot tub outside anymore, staff overworked and half seem confused with simplest requests. But most surprising was that food quality has really gone downhill. Used to have a great steak and all dishes executed with fresh ingredients. This no longer seems the case. Some staff was excellent with service skills as before but only a few. Rooms getting older and really showing wear. Location is always great but not nearly the level of hotel it was five years ago.

Unfortunately, I was charged for an extra night, which was frustrating because I had to return to the hotel to resolve the issue. The rooms showed signs of wear, with scuffs on the walls, stains on the fridge and floors, and poorly maintained furniture. Additionally, the walls were so thin that I could hear my neighbors throughout the night. There was also a shortage of hot water, which lasted a few hours and occurred around dinner time. This was particularly inconvenient since I wanted to shower after a long day of hiking before dinner. The advertised forest view turned out to be a view of an area where employees took breaks, along with a loud generator and a construction zone. On a positive note, the spa, breakfast, and the mountain views from the restaurant and lodge were excellent. However, the rooms and overall service definitely need improvement. • binnstrips (10/5): The views and the vibes - If you’re visiting stepantsminda and have the budget for it, stay here. It’s worth every penny, for the views. And also for the lovely heated swimming pool and the great food and wine and the history of the place. We stayed here one night during our trip and spent the entire evening mesmerized by the views. It’s hypnotically beautiful. For those looking for screens, the hotel has not TVs. The overnight at the hotel also allowed us to start our day early to go up to the Gergeti cathedral and avoid the rush. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms are quaint and well fitted with all amenities, although a little small. The 2 small cons we experienced in the hotel Service is a little haphazard- we arrived on a day they were lying down asphalt on their approach road, and there was no one to help or guide us. We had to carry our suitcases to the lobby through the gravel. It was a walk. And once there, no apologies for it either. Strange for the most luxurious hotel in the area. It was a bad start but the location and the vibe of the hotel made up for it. It was the same situation when we were checking out. There was a bell boy this time, but no one told us and we lugged our bags to the car. We met the bellboy at the parking. There could be better coordination at front desk for such small things. The tap in our bathroom was a little loose and moved around when we opened and closed it. Again not “luxury” standard. Other than that, highly recommend

• tej_here (10/5): The perfect stay - We had a lovely stay at Rooms. I visited with my wife and our 9 month old toddler in the month of April. There was heavy snow in Gadauri and Kazbegi which caused road closure. People at Rooms called us to check on us and offered us free cancellation. We however rejected the request and decided to still go. After this, they were in constant touch with us, they gave us updates on the weather, told us where to get onto the gandola in Gadauri, they arranged for a taxi in Kazbegi, and made sure we reached the hotel safe and sound. Upon checkin they offered us a complementary upgrade. The room itself was beautiful and had a great view. We enjoyed the falafel which we ordered to the room and also the temperature controlled swimming pool. There's just nothing we could complaint about. It was just perfect.

They have a terrace where one can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink or even a meal, the setting is simply perfect. The food and cocktails are great but the dining may get a bit congested during peak seasons and may find difficulty find space. I would definitely like to go back once again.

• ashc2015 (8/5): Rooms with a view that will take your breath away - I recently stayed at Rooms Kazbegi and, like so many before me, I was swept away by the setting - it’s hard to describe how stunning it is until you’re sitting on that terrace, drink in hand, watching the mountains shift with the light. The design is flawless, the vibe is laid-back luxury, and everything about the space feels considered without being pretentious. It was exactly the kind of mountain retreat I was hoping for. That said, it’s worth noting that the service felt noticeably stretched. The staff were trying their best, but it was clear they were understaffed, especially in the restaurant and terrace areas. There were long waits, forgotten orders, and a general sense that the team couldn’t quite keep up with the number of guests. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it did pull focus in a place that otherwise gets everything else so right. Would I go back? Absolutely. But I’d hope that by then, the service catches up to the standard the hotel has clearly set for itself in every other way.

A bride that could launch a thousand ships, and a groom that made me downright dehydrated with thirst. I had to spend 10,000 GELs on bottled water at the local Spar to stay quenched. The rooms and hot water were scolding, likely due to the sequence of Bassiani-quality DJs presiding over the festivities. And the celebrant, what an eloquent gent he was ... finding a way to sneak in a quote from Dr. King as the cherry on top of his commanding presence. Don't stay at Rooms Kazbegi for your next trip - find out where this wedding party will stay next and pray for the privilege to sleep in the hotel's broom closet.
• Meander815671 (6/5): Yes, and no… - First of all, the hotel’s location is magnificant and also the styling and overall vibe is something else. Looking at the website and photos in preparation of our trip I was sure this hotel was going to be right up our alley. Still I would not per se recommend a stay here. Why is that? First of all the music, I really don’t mind some jazzy/classical/Wes Anderson background music in hotels. But the loud trance/deep house/eclectic music already starting at breakfast time is just too much. I guess it’s part of the hotel’s ‘hip’ image, but even for a person growing up in the 90s it’s completely missing the point. Just way too intrusive. In addition, when we stayed here a rather big (wedding?) party took place, with guests swarming the breakfast buffet and loud dj music outside on the terrace until late. Not the idea of the calm and serene mountain retreat we had in mind, sleeping with the balcony door open hearing birds and cows etc. Thirdly the room itself, somehow the temperature was at sauna-mode all day and night despite having the windows open (5 degrees outside), the shower was either extremely cold or hot and again, the noise from the dj outside… For me, not again, unfortunately.
• Coerlo (6/5): Overpriced - You go there because there's not much competition in that category. But it is far from what you'd expect from a four star hotel. A similar hotel in Italy or Austria would cost half the price of Rooms Kazbegi. For this price, rooms are very small. Service is abysmal. You have to ask four times to get robes in your room. Very difficult to get attention from staff on the terrace or on the bar to order a drink. They don't seem to care at all. The hotel hosts lots of big groups of Chinese tourists. The driveway in front of the hotel is full of massive potholes, you drive there at your own risk. Incredible they wouldn't fix it.
• 588alinal (10/5): fantastic weekend - My friend and I just returned from another fantastic weekend getaway at Rooms Hotel Kazbegi. This was our fourth year visiting, and it continues to impress us! The hotel itself is incredibly stylish, and the staff are so welcoming and friendly – they really make you feel at home. We always look forward to the delicious food in the restaurant. And the view... well, the mountain view from the hotel is simply breathtaking. You could spend hours just gazing at it. The spa area is also wonderful, with a great pool and saunas – everything you need for a relaxing break. I also have to mention the incredible massages by Natali. Honestly, a massage from her alone is worth the trip! Overall, this is a hotel that you just want to return to again and again.
• Maxtrap (10/5): Beautiful soul refresher with world class view - The view across the valley towards Mt Kazbegi is similar to Zermatt but more untamed. The hotel itself is open and lends itself to grand social ventures. Ten foot couches, couple, and foursome seating arrangements abound and all benefit from floor to ceiling glass exposure to the valley, mountains, and, a fourteenth century monastery perched at seven thousand feet on the opposite hilltop. My room had a couch, two chairs, and a king size bed. The clawfoot tub and separate shower were more than I needed, but it’s available. You can sit in a comfortable outdoor chair on your deck and contemplate your good fortune as you drink a glass of Georgian wine. The swimming pool downstairs is long and beautiful. Reportedly warm, too. I used the gym which had a heavy bag and gloves amongst the normal equipment. Two dry saunas are available and plenty warm. I rented a car in Tbilisi, and drove up to the hotel. It was a fun (sporty) drive up and back. I would not recommend trying to out drive the Russians unless you are a regular at Pikes Peak. The buffet breakfast in the morning has an omelette chef, salmon lox, delicate crescents, and various other breakfast items to fuel the day’s adventure. I read about this hotel in another Caucuses review, and it exceeded my lofty expectations. Absolutely loved it.

With the exception of the view, and restaurant…do not stay here unless you want to trip, fall, stub your toes or not watch TV …the rooms are so dangerous. Platform beds with one thin mattress that is hard to get out of because of the platform that you run into and bang up your knees when trying to get in or out of bed. Uncomfortable pillow, hard beds…big holes in the floors, metal objects sticking out the the floor near the toilet..i am an older traveling, i left the hotel with stubbed toes, bruises all over myself…this place is downright dangerous. Lobby is nice…food is good…bring a flashlight so that you can see in front of you…or dine alone since you will not be able to see the other people at the table…so dark, no lights ..it try’s to be trendy…but its horribly designed…nice views tho.

The absolute highlight was waking up to the epic sunrise from our room—watching the first golden rays slowly illuminate Mount Kazbek was an unforgettable, almost spiritual moment. The way the light touched the ancient Gergeti Trinity Church, perched gracefully on the hillside, was simply surreal. The view from the room itself felt like a moving painting—panoramic mountain vistas stretching as far as the eye could see, changing color and mood throughout the day. Whether we were sipping morning coffee or winding down in the evening, we couldn’t take our eyes off the scenery. Kazbegi is a destination that captures both your heart and your imagination. If you’re looking for peace, beauty, and the raw power of nature, this is the place to be. We already can’t wait to return.

The broccoli, thrown on the dish to give it some color, was hard except for the florets. Noodles, with more of the brown sauce, were gobbled down by my granddaughter who loved them. But ar 12;20 PM, we were the only customers. Perhaps most others have learned that the place is not worth visiting. Sorry, won't be back.

The only minor inconveniences we had were small selection of food in the morning and the fact that TVs are available only in most expensive rooms.

The mountain view from the room is amazing, however, a friend of mine was staying in a room with a forest view and it was also nice and very sunny. The gym is nice and equipped with everything necessary for a complex workout. There are a lot of activities that you can order from a hotel - horse riding, buggy cars, etc., or just go for a walk to a nearby monastery.
