• Vanessa (10/5): Outstanding! - Angel House was the calm retreat we all needed. Located outside the main area of Ubud this is the ideal place to experience community life whilst being very well looked after in a beautiful place. The staff went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is perfect and homely, we loved the pool and garden and all the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious too! The only thing we didn’t like was leaving!

• Angelica (10/5): - We loved this option because of the location in the town of MAS which is a much more authentic Bali option than the hassle of UBUD. Around the area are many wood carvers - so you can find a lot of amazing antiques, masks, etc. We had a MANGKU (local holy man) we visited that lived near there. There is also an INCREDIBLE restaurant across the street called TonyRaka which had really authentic and healthy Indonesian food - we ate there every day. Plus the location is Eco - it doesn't use chemical pesticides - which at the last place I stayed - they used it and it made me feel very foggy - so it was amazing to see how truly Eco this location was. Great breakfast, they also can arrange a massage for you.

• Tim (10/5): Tollster Rückzugsort in der Nähe von Ubud! - Von allen Hotels während unseres Urlaubs war dies das angenehmste Hotel. Das Personal, das Essen, die Stimmung und die Zimmer waren einfach perfekt. Leider konnten wir nur zwei Tage bleiben, würden aber gerne wieder kommen!
• Padmini (10/5): Outstanding Stay and Amazing Vegan Breakfast - Our stay at Angel House was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with details like universal power outlets that allowed us to plug in both North American and European devices without adapters. Breakfast was the absolute highlight. Angel, Kadek, and Fina went out of their way to prepare a varied, well-balanced vegan breakfast every morning, with different plant-based proteins — something we often miss when traveling. We got to try many Indonesian classics and fusion dishes - I still think about the Pandan pancakes we had here!! The team was also incredibly accommodating, allowing us to use the main desk area for important work calls, and their laundry service was excellent. We felt so well cared for that we ended up extending our stay by two extra nights. Angel House is a gem for anyone, but especially for vegan travelers looking for comfort and thoughtful hospitality! The only small downside is that the town center can be tricky to reach during busy times. That said, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location and simply planned our trips into town for non-peak hours.
• Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely everything about our stay here was amazing. Angel House is located just a short distance from the centre of Ubud meaning you're out of the very busy streets but only a short (and easily accessible) taxi ride away from. The team are all fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and Angel made sure to greet us and congratulate us on our recent marriage. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and really set us up for the day. The pool is great especially to cool off after a day in the sun. The villa is really lovely and encapsulates the beauty and greenery of this part of Bali. There are cafes, shops and restaurants nearby and there are no issues getting a taxi in about five minutes if you wish to go further. Thank you for a lovely stay and for helping make our honeymoon special - we will be back!

• Samantha (10/5): - What an absolutely delightful, authentic, and incredible stay we had at the Angel House Eco Villa! When we first arrived, 80% of Bali was experiencing a power outage in the evening. The staff was very accommodating and upgraded us to the room on the second floor so that we would be cooler (and nobody was there or checking in for a few days). It made a huge difference while we waited for the power to turn on, which it did around 9 p.m. The ac in the rooms works like a dream! Both rooms were very clean and tidy with modern structure mixed with Balinese architecture that provided a beautiful feeling. The garden is extraordinary and well kept, with mosquito traps that are safe to other insects. Did I also mention they compost? Pretty incredible. Being an eco villa, there were also signs and instructions for conserving waste and energy which really made us feel like we chose the right place. The pool was well maintained and very clean - not to mention an absolute delight when the hot humid Bali weather gets to you! It's also spring fed with very clean water, and speaking of water there are at least two filtered water stations we could fill our bottles up any time with no charge...a real asset in Bali! Breakfast in the morning was delicious and special with Vinna who was so sweet and kind in making our food. On that note, the absolute stellar aspect of Angel House is THE STAFF! Vinna was a darling, Pak Kadek was so warm and friendly, and Ibu Wayan kept the place beautiful with the

• Daniela (10/5): - We recently stayed at Angel House Eco Villa, and it was the perfect peaceful retreat just 10-15 minutes by car or motorbike from the center of Ubud. The villa is incredibly clean and surrounded by a beautiful garden, with a refreshing pool that became our favorite spot to relax. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions we had. The breakfasts were delicious, and there are some great restaurants nearby for other meals. The local village community was very welcoming—we were even invited to a temple ceremony, which was a truly unique and memorable experience. As a group of four, we had the whole villa to ourselves, making it feel like a private oasis. Our only suggestion would be to repair some of the tiles in the pool, but that didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment. If you’re looking for a calm, relaxing escape just outside Ubud, Angel House Eco Villa is an excellent choice!

The staff will clean the room every day 5. The common room is lovely and comfy 1.There’s only a sheet, no quilt for sleeping. 2.No slippers provided. 3.The floor is a bit dirty. 4.Not satisfied with the shampoo and body wash, which diluted with too much water. 5.It’s a bit far from the Ubud center (a 10-15 minute scooter ride).

Also, since it is away from downtown Ubud, plenty of morning local markets and fruit/ sellers around. Not speaking the language has its constraints when dealing with locals though Two things stayed with me as we stayed here. 1) while the pictures are all true to the place, the space is actually much smaller than it looks (great angles and photo captures).2) For the cost paid for Ubud stay: had expected a tad more than just basic amenities

Bear in mind that you’re outside of Ubud centre and the traffic to get into Ubud can be quite bad - however, we really liked the fact it was an oasis of calm after a day of sightseeing round Ubud.

• Joanne (9/5): Wonderful staff who go above and beyond and a great place to relax. - The staff were happy , friendly and always wanting to make our stay the best possible. Pak Kadek organised and provided transport for activities and along with Mrs Wayan and Mrs Vina cooked our delicious daily breakfast , washed our clothes and ensured the villa (we had the whole place) was clean and comfortable for our stay. The beds were comfy and the bedding was A + There are many warungs , atms and shops for supplies a short walk away. Terima Kasih banyak to the staff from us all for taking such good care of us and helping to make our holiday a restful and peaceful one . Angel House Eco villa takes measures to care for the environment and is a lovely place to relax. It is a very long way out of Ubud and traffic is busy if you want to go anywhere by car it takes a long time. The the cooking facilities provided for us (we booked the whole villa) were not as mentioned , so we had to eat out every day. There were many good places to eat nearby , but we would have liked to have cooked at times as well. There was nowhere to store our food as the small fridges in our rooms and in the one in the outside kitchen were full of mini bar drinks.

• Andreea (10/5): Exceptional - The location is great, just a bit outside of Ubud. Very easily reachable by scooter. The accomodation is very cozy and private. The abundant garden and cute pool make a great getaway. We loved the homemade, fresh and delicious breakfast and the very helpful host. Lovely massage done at the location. The rooms and very cozy and nicely decorated. Clead and neat.

• Maeve (10/5): Beautiful oasis - We have had the most beautiful stay at Angel house in Ubud, amazing hospitality, a beautiful room and feels like a home away from home. The breakfast provided was delicious, We can’t wait to be back again!

They try to help you in every way possible. Place is very quiet. Location is not very close to central Ubud . If you will be staying here you should definitely try Demetri Restaurant very good food and worth it. Suggestion: to install more wifi router as wifi internet is a bit slow.

Angel is really an angel! We wholeheartedly recommend Angel House Ubud. Sometimes the booking platforms delay payment to the hosts. To ensure the host get what they deserve, do consider booking directly with them.
• Vikki (10/5): Thanks for you hospitality and chats, also for helping my elderly mum navigate her way in! - This is a very serene environment. The breakfast was amazing with Angel’s in house sourdough bread! We met some other lovely travelers. On a busy road but down a little path and away from any noise. We were given a lift to the Ubud market for a tiny fee and Gojek is used in the area. Some restaurants and warungs close by, also a couple of supermarkets within easy walking distance. Would be a beautiful spot for honeymooners.
• Sue (10/5): A very relaxing and restful stay that offers organic breakfasts. - The property was down a lane which mean there wasn’t any street noise and lovely and restful. The home cooked sourdough, jams, coconut yogurt, cinnamon buns and sourdough crumpets were delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were able to provide suggestions of places to see and things to do as well as organise taxis. The pool was a great place to cool off in. The gardens are very beautiful. Not many places in Bali do this but it would be great to have a luggage stand to open your suitcase on.

• Tutik (3/5): Not such a good experience. - cleanliness. the owner of the property is rude, she yelled at us on our arrival time from the balcony upstairs because we arrived too early. we will not check in, we just want to drop our luggage then left for lunch. This “nice welcoming” action is totally bad experience especially when we just arrived from early morning flight departed home at 4:00AM, then 1.5 hrs flight continued with car trip straight almost 1.5 hours from Kuta to Ubud. why don’t she talk more nicely in front of us instead yell from upstair balcony. we knew that check in time is at 14:00 PM. but we just want to drop off luggage only. we arrived at the property at 11:00AM. too bad for us.

• Fenna (10/5): LOVELY STAFF, AMAZING BREAKFAST, CHILL STAY - The staff is so friendly and helpful! They make you breakfast every morning and can arrange everything for you (tours, scooters, etc.). The villa is located outside the busy area of Ubud, but we liked that. There was nothing we did not like, and we definitely recommend staying here (best for families or couples).
• Matthew (10/5): Great value and highl recommended - I feel like I could not have chosen a better place to stay in Ubud. The location was a little out of town, so not so noisy or frenetic. The hotel itself is cosy - 3 self-contained private villa-style rooms - clean, beautifully decorated and relaxed. The staff were super-friendly, and the owners, Angel and Rod (originally from Melbourne) were gorgeously friendly and really great in answering questions about what to do, where to go, how to get there. Could not recommend this stay highly enough. Breakfast here is worth it :)

La personne qui gère cet hôtel est très agréable et vraiment très gentille. Nous avons passés une superbe nuit, le décor est typique et chaleureux. Le matin vous avez le choix pour votre petit dejeuner, fait avec des produits frais et cuisinés devant vous. Nous avons mangés les fabuleux pancakes ananas chocolat. Je recommande a 100% ce lieu :)
• LAURE (10/5): Feeling of home – Top notch! - I booked initially 2 nights and extended for 3 more. There are 3 accommodations around this small luxurious garden with refreshing swimming pool with clean and fresh water; good for a swim in the morning or after a day of sight-seeing. Everything was perfect, the team is welcoming, friendly and professional; breakfast (large choice) is delicious with organic ingredients and mainly homemade. The bedding is very comfortable. They pay attention to details in the rooms and it is very clean and neat. Garden is well maintained. The House is located in Mas, 10-15’ drive to Ubud center, perfect location for those who want to stay away from busy touristic city center; yet close. The best is to rent a scooter (they can arrange it for you) to get around Ubud and do sightseeing; or the staff can provide drop off/pick-up to/from Ubud. The Internet is very good and fast; if you need to do some work that’s also convenient. So if you’re looking for a friendly cosy and quite environment, don’t look any further, that’s your place!
