Guest Reviews
- Daniele (8/5): - City Suites scores very highly for location. It’s in Datong District, only about a 5- to 7-minute walk from Beimen MRT station. It’s also reasonably close to Taipei Main Station. There are convenience stores (like 7-Eleven) nearby, and plenty of restaurants & cafés within walking distance. The rooms are modern, clean, and generally well maintained, but no windows. I find the mattress was a bit firmer than what I was expecting but it was fine. No strong sound insulation, you can hear people from the next room. Room was rather specious so if you travel with a large suitcase that is the place. Check in was smooth and Staff is helpful! Housekeeping is generally good but noticed quite some bit of dust behind the tv and beneath the bed so I had the impression these areas are not cleaned much! in conclusion is a solid choice if you’re staying in Taipei for a few nights and want somewhere reasonable clean, central, and convenient. It gives you good access to transport and local amenities, making it easy to explore. If you’re okay with compact rooms and aren’t expecting luxury extras, you’ll likely be satisfied.
- Nancy (10/5): - Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Liked the location of the hotel. Everything was within walking distance
- SSUCHIANGMR (10/5): - good
- Sunil (10/5): - Self service check in and check out available. 7-11 next door. Very close to Taipei main station
- Hui-Chuan (8/5): Better soundproofing is needed.
Better soundproof - The room is beautiful and clean, and it’s very close to the MRT station. Toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided, so you need to bring your own. The soundproofing at night is not very good, as noises from neighbors opening and closing doors and talking in the hallway can be heard inside the room. The bed is very soft, but it wasn’t suitable for me.
- Justin (8/5): - Stood at this hotel for a week. Great location that’s probably the main benefit in my opinion, it’s located very close to Taipei main station. The staff was really helpful and I enjoyed my room. Only negative I could think of were some scuffs on the wall by my bed and my lamp seemed to be kinda loose in the wall. Neither are deal breakers for me. There are no amenities like a pool or gym that I noticed so just a heads up if you need or want that. If you’re planning to spend all day out the room and experiencing the city I feel like this is exactly the place. I would definitely stay again and recommend.
- Divina (8/5): - This hotel is a walking distance to Beimen and Taipei Main Station. It is also very convenient that a 7-11 is just next door to this hotel.
Overall, we love this hotel and will for sure come back on our next Taiwan vacation.
- Diana (8/5): Nice location & price - They have issue with accounting my prior stay was paid in advance and they put $197 on my charge card & Im still waiting for it to drop off
- Diana (10/5): Excellent Hotel - Excellent hotel in every way
- Nneka (8/5): - Location, staff, big room for one
- Maximilien (10/5): - Location was perfect. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly.
- Tsz Yee (10/5): - Convenient to all distance, near Taipei station
- Chung (6/5): - We within thin wall here, the next roomtalking DIY, you figure it out. Thank you.p
- Tran (10/5): - Everything is very good
- Siu (8/5): - Need more hanger
- Emily (10/5): - The hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful. They provided very helpful suggestions about where to go eat and what to do in the rainy weather. They also stored luggage before check-in and after checkout. Located very close to Airport MRT and is close to lots of food including Ningxia Night Market.
- Emily (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff
- Coley (8/5): - The ladies at the reception desk were awesome
- Michael (10/5): - Excellent location and service
- YU TIEN (6/5): - 除了隔音不好影響睡眠
房間有點太簡單
沒有空間放椅子
吃早餐比較不方便
其他都還可以喔
- WEI SIANG (10/5): - Friendly staff, check in was fast. Room wall are not sound proof we stayed for 5 nights there and we can hear sound from corridor and our neighbor talking and using bathroom when we are in the room. Other than toothbrush all necessary toiletries are provided. Place luggage at lobby and had breakfast ant dihua street before going airport. Overall nice place to stay 3-5 mins walk to beimen mrt and Taipei main station to airport.
- Kykiera (10/5): - Good location, super close to MRT and right next door is a 7/11 (themed!!), otherwise there’s family mart right next to it as well. Easy and safe walk, popular areas like Ximendeng was only a 10-15min walk. Room was modern and cleaned daily by staff, which was excellent!! The one downside that i could think of is that the ambulance/ firefighter station is near so you’ll hear occasional sirens but otherwise everything was genuinely 10/10!! We also came in and out late always and staff didn’t mind and were always welcoming. Missing Taiwan and when i come back id definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): City Suites - Beimen - The hotel is a short distance from Taipei Main Station. There's a 7-Eleven beside it and a Family Mart nearby. It's close to Tamsui River and a night market. The room is spacious with a comfortable bed. The shower is roomy. There is a ref, a safe, and an electric kettle. Complimentary water and coffee are provided.
- Gary (8/5): Good Value - Nice place. Good price. Room is small but all we did was sleep there anyway. Close to subway, museums, night, market
- Carmen (8/5): - Simple, and nice themed decor, I like the dark wooden feel to city suites
- Alvin (8/5): - The A/C sometimes became too hot or too cold but it was not adjustable in my room.
- Dorinda (10/5): - Great value and great location.
- Jing (8/5): - Clean, convenient and great staff
- TsueyIng (10/5): - Staff is very friendly and helpful
- Bin seng (8/5): - Location of the hotel was good. The staffs were all very helpful and polite. Only complaints are the room feels a bit old and needs a refresh.
- Kimmie (2/5): - There was no wifi in room, or very little connection.
- Chim Buan (10/5): - Clean and shirt distance to train station.
- Jeremy (6/5): - This hotel room was super small, we had to move the bed and bedside tables just to fit 2 luggages on the floor. I don’t understand why the bathroom was so big with a shower that could fit 5 people, but have zero room space. Whilst the bathroom was nice, the bedroom was outdated and scuff marks were found on the walls and sheets. The walls were also super thin, I needed to sleep with earplugs every night. I did love the free milk tea and hot chocolate machine they had at reception. Also the receptionists were always super friendly.
- Boon Leong Daniel (8/5): - Property should consider to have the toilet glass thinl
- Jan (10/5): - N
- Kai Leung (2/5): - 床褥很軟,好像彈簧己壞,旁邊房間開水喉聲完全聽到😬
- Elaine (8/5): - Great location. Very easy to check in / check out. Excellent staff. Nice modern minimalist decor. But I could sometimes hear the noise from the hall way and also the sound of water flowing through pipes occasionally. They are not loud though, doesn’t bother me at all but it might to some people.
- Andy K (10/5): - Good service!
- Yun (8/5): - Convenient location and friendly staff. The soundproofing could be better, but it’s acceptable overall.
- Michael Joseph (10/5): - Great hotel, friendly staff , excellent location.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good - Good service
Good location , near tourist spots
Only problem was the wifi. Connection was so weak that we gave up and used our own data.
Water leaked from bathing area to toilet area , but that did not cost much concerns to us.
- Kelvin (6/5): Average - Bed was not comfortable, and there was a constant beeping sound in the room, did not have a good sleep throughout my stay. Service however was decent
- Jason (10/5): - Nice place for a simple stay in Taipei! Nice proximity to Ningxia Night Market. We received a helpful late checkout being Expedia customer✌️ The staff was fantastic - Wendy gave prompt and accurate directions ahead of time, and we received a warm welcome from Min at check-in. Jason also helped us get a nice breakfast nearby. Room- a little tight when we have large suitcases open on the floor. Bathroom isn't so soundproof from rest of room, and its glass wall is only behind a curtain. Housekeeping is friendly and I did appreciate the clean room and facilities. The warm drinks at lobby is a nice touch :)
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The toilet and shower are practically in the bedroom. There is only a frosted glass door for the toilet. You would need to be comfortable with whoever you were staying with.
Bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned daily.
Could hear the neighbours very easily in the next room and in the corridor.
Staff were very nice and helpful.
There is a 7-eleven next door and it is a 5-10 minute walk to the main train station.
- pia (6/5): Needs better soundproofing. - The toilet and shower are practically in the bedroom. There is only a frosted glass door for the toilet. You would need to be comfortable with whoever you were staying with.
Bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned daily.
Could hear the neighbours very easily in the next room and in the corridor.
Staff were very nice and helpful.
There is a 7-eleven next door and it is a 5-10 minute walk to the main strain station.
- Kit Mun (6/5): - Toilet ventilation no good. If u poo, the whole room stinks!
- Nicholas (10/5): - An excellent hotel location near metro station. Wonderful staff and so accommodating! Recommend for those first time visitors to Taipei!
- Tamco (8/5): Good value for a low price - Rooms are cleaned for the most part but on the surface. Toilet wasn’t always cleaned properly or faucet wiped down. There’s a bit of black mold in the bathroom. But the location is great. The Conceirge is super nice. The 7/11 next door is great. Price point great for what you pay for.
- Vinh (10/5): - Good location, close to the old town and restaurants. Very Small room but clean and safe.
- Yichen (2/5): - 1. suspected bed bugs.
lived for 3 nights, got itchy reddish bumps all over my and my friend's legs and arms on 2nd day. at first I though it's mosquito bites, so I requested liquid electric mosquito repellent, but it did not work. more and more bumps were found on legs on 3rd day, google suggested it's bed bug bites. in addition, other hotels in surrounding areas of Taipei were claimed to have bed bugs since Dec 2923. I did not look into this any more as I left Taipei in early morning.
2. sound proof is horrible. can hear outside ppl talking, walking in midnight and dawn, severely affected my sleep.
3. location is good, price is much cheaper than other hotels in same area, very friendly and helpful staff, room looks new and well-equipped. but all these do not matter.
- Lan (8/5): - For the price and location, the hotel is a great option. It was a 7 minute walk from the train station and the 7 Eleven was right next door. The area is safe and clean. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly. The only down side is having the sleeping area and restroon separated by a glass wall but there's is a curtain to block it out. The bed right next to the bathroom. The bathroom had rusted metal parts and stained grout but otherwise clean.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Modern and Clean! - We booked a doubled bed room with no window. Room was modern and clean. We encountered a night of earthquake, good thing the washroom glass door was shaking so it woke us up.
- HIROBUMI (8/5): - It’s close to the station and there are plenty of places to eat.there is a convenience store on the first the hotel.I’ll definitely come back.
- Sandy (8/5): - We had a room with no window for 7 nights. Room was spacious. It came with good amenities. Housekeeping was done daily. Initially we were placed in an accessible room but did not like the layout of the bathroom so asked for a switch. The front desk was very helpful and made the switch seamless for us. Wendy at the front desk was especially helpful for our stay. Good value room. We liked the close proximity to the Beimen station (<5 min walk) allowing us to get all around the city. Taipei main station was ~10-15 mins walk away and you can walk through the Taipei City Mall that connects Beimen and the Main Station. We took the airport MRT at Beimen station back to the airport and that was very convenient from the hotel. For the price and area, we were quite pleased with our stay.
- Nicolas (10/5): - Really clean, comfortable, convenient. Enjoyed our 6D5N at this property. Recommend
- Addy Kin Fu (8/5): - The location is good. 7 eleven just next to it. The staffs were nice and helpful. The hotel room is clean and tidy but tiny.
- Hendra (8/5): - I love the service that they provided. Anything we asked of the front desk to do, they would do it right away!
The major flaw of this property is their housekeeping! We stayed there for 8 days and not once did they change our bedsheet. I know this because there was the same dirt mark on the bed sheet throughout our stay. To make matters worse, I got 18 flea bites at the end of the trip and those bites are still itchy up to this day! Horrible!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Recommended if u dun mind no windows - Nice staff serving you and cozy room to stay.
- Ching Ying Cindy (8/5): - may consider to change the lobby fragrance
- Scott (10/5): - I loved my stay at City Suites Beman!
- Verified traveler (8/5):
- Tsz Yee Natalie (10/5): - I had an excellent experience
- Katherine (10/5): - Modern clean room.Quiet.
Hotel in walking distance of Taipei Main Station and Beimen metro.
Advice from hotel to visitors about public transport route from the airport and how to access train tickets would be very useful when booking. I pre booked a car pick up but train service back to airport on return was a much better option.
- Angela (8/5): - This property was great for a 3star hotel~ it was better than my expectations. My only issue would be that there was a cockroach in the shower... but it was immediately cleaned... and it could be bc we were on the 2nd floor.
- Sarah Xin Xuan (10/5): - Very close to the metro. Room is extremely clean. 7 eleven is right downstairs. Highly recommended!!
- Jian (10/5): - Very convenient location, close to stations. There's also 7-eleven next door. It is about 10 mins walk to NingXia Night Market. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the room is new.
- Li wen (10/5): - Good for the price, service great. Only problem is no closet but good enough
- Changyun (8/5): - Location is great and Staff are great, bathroom is great , however, room is in small size so if you stay long time like we did, you would possible feel too small with 2 people.
- Lee (8/5): - Good location, easy access to airport and other areas of city
- Kimberly (8/5): Good choice - The location is good and nearby a market, the hotel is very clean. You can easily get breakfast from the street, 7/11 is next door, it near Taiwan bank ATM, hotel staffs are very eager to help
- Kia Poon (10/5): - Location is good. Small boutique hotel but clean and decent. Within walking distance to airport train station via underpass.
- Alicia (10/5): - 5mins walk to Beimen station, the staffs were all very friendly and helpful!
- Kevin (8/5): - Good but very poor internet connection.
- Emma Joy-E (8/5): - Our hotel room was for the disable access. I think its good for those with disability as they offer a ramp as well. The room was a bit tight but enough for me and my sister. The bed was comfy and aircond super good. Showers right next to the bed though and its glass door with a curtain you need to pull it for privacy LOL. It has 3 plug pin and a nice hot beverage machine. You have 7eleven and family like 10 steps away. Close to 2 metro stations which is great. The area other than that is quite boring, old shoplot and not much to do. We also went to Shifen and Jiufen which bus stop is nearby with direct access so its veryyyyy convenient.
- Francis (10/5): - Very energetic staff. Clean. Fresh. Good elevators.
- James (10/5): - Courteous
- Jessica (10/5): - The staff was so lovely and attentive. The cleaning lady was so so so nice. There was a group having a very loud party in the middle of the night on our floor and when we called to let them know that it was a little late for so much noise (it was 1am otherwise we would have ignored it). The front staff came up quickly and fixed the situation. I highly recommend this hotel.
- Akiko (10/5): - It was a great stay. The room didn’t have window but it didn’t feel stuffy at all and it was rather comfortable to sleep well.
- Lu (10/5): Clean is easy to find bus stops - The location is convenient, a lot of bus stops around, walking 15 mins to Taipei Main Station (Subway, Tai Train, High Speed, And Taoyuan Airport Subway). Close to Ningxia night market and Dihua market. The service is excellent.
- Manuel (10/5): - Great location, friendly staff and the hire was very clean.
- Tanya (10/5): - Looks great, great location, friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Disguising - There was a big rat in the room
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room was ok.
But the noise is a problem.
Could easily hear the traffic.
The daily room clearness wasn’t the most satisfied.
Location and staff service was great.
- Ying-Hsuan (4/5): - 無法睡覺的馬達噪音
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing location, close to 711. 10min walk to beiman station. Amazing staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I am a fan of this hotel because the rooms are always clean and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable and they provide everything I needed for a good stay. Overall I find this to be a GREAT value.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean room. English speaking staff. Near ximending and Zhongshan station. Comfortable bed.
- Jan Hoi Jason (4/5): Can’t sleep. loud drainage noise & aircon@face - The windowless room’s air was stiff.
Moved to a room with window but the aircon duck blows air directly at my face all night.
Loud water/drainage noise was heard throughout the morning due to shower from other rooms.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Thanks for your interest in giving feedback. Please tell us more about your stay.
- Kuan (10/5): Cozy stay - Small but cozy. Nice and clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean and nice location
- Mika (10/5): - Easy less than 10mins walking distance near by police station and Taipei main train station (MRT)
Staff are friendly and multi language to communicate.
Room tempter was very cold and unable to controls.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean and facilitated, but only upstaire above unit quite noisy and annoying in the mid night
- Gee (10/5): - 2 single bed is just nice for a single traveller in my opinion. If you have two luggage open up it may be a little cramp. Very clean bathroom and room. No wardrobe. Sound proofing is really not so fantastic. If people are moving their luggage you can hear it in your room, even when people open or close their door. If you are a light sleeper, 🤔🤔🤔 there is a 7-11 just next to hotel. Very convenient. Walking distance from beimen no3 exit and Taoyuan airport rail station.
- Dean (10/5): - The room had no window, this turned out to not be too bad at all. The shower rates as almost one of the best hotel showers that I have experienced. The room was ultra clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Only downside is there seemed to be something wrong with the plumbing in the room next door, there would e a loud squealing noise echoing through the walls whenever they used any water. Room 621. The location was excellent, only a 5 minute walk to the MRT.
- Paula (6/5): - This hotel is set up in a very weird way. Some of the rooms are in another building and the elevator to that building is on the street. Felt somewhat unsafe and would never recommend to women travelers. The rooms in that building are also tiny tiny tiny and the bathroom is not separate. Completely unsatisfactory. The only thing that saved the whole mess was the staff, who were sympathetic and put us in another room in the main hotel the 2nd or 3rd night. So...if you have to stay here, you need to insist on a room in the main building.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was clean.
Within walking distance to main train station, though there is not a lot to see in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
Room has a rather unusual bathroom arrangement. Entry to the bathroom is made through a door in the middle, making access quite inconvenient if you need to draw the one-piece curtain fully for privacy. There is no closet in the room, though some hangers are available.
- NhuPham (6/5): - The hotel is about 3 mins walk to Beimen station and 10 mins to Taipei main station. 7&11 right next to the hotel which really convenient. We are not really happy for the last day stay at hotel as they did not clean our room as they though we would check out the day after???. Also, the way they called on the room remind us check out before 12 and not even 12 yet (just about 11 ish) and this is not nice at all, this is the first time in my life got that experience.
- R.L (10/5): - easy accessible place, staff are nice, i have left the body lotion and they have contacted us around 1 hr after we checked out, nice service
