Wharton (9/5): would stay there in the future but will eat out. - really nice room, clean and very comfortable. everything worked perfect. bed was very comfortable. breakfast was bad. food was cold. scrambled eggs had a bad smell. bread was not fresh. the dining area was clean and comfortable. the staff was nice and friendly. we were not told about the $15.00 parking fee until check out time.

If anyone stays there, I’d recommend you check that right away before you get too comfortable in your room - I like that it was close to the mall of America Our room didn’t have any hot water in the sink or in the shower. When I told staff at the front desk, they asked if I reported it to anyone. I’m reporting it to you I said. Nothing was done to fix it and no discount on the room. Checkout time was noon, but we left at 10 since we couldn’t shower and just went home.
Elizabeth (9/5): Great location and staff. - The staff at this hotel are fabulous. Everyone at the front desk was helpful and the breakfast bar staff were also great. I enjoyed the gym, good cardio machines and some weights. If you're looking for free weights though, you'll be disappointed. The room was spacious and sound proofed. The lounge and bar/restaurant had a nice vibe. I'd characterize this hotel as best for business/adult trips. I have younger kids and would want a pool or some other amenity to keep them occupied if I was staying more than a night. However, I did enjoy how close the hotel was to the Mall of America and Hazelwood restaurant. I would have loved if the bed was a bit more comfy. And a soaking tub would really elevate the experience. But these are more nits than complaints.

Molly (5/5): Overpriced but clean - The rooms were clean and so were the facilities. They nickel and dime you. I chose a Marriott property because being a titanium member we generally receive free breakfast and needing to be on the road quickly the ease. Well they said AC hotels do not offer free breakfast and when I went to even look to purchase the buffet it was so picked over and cold at 8:30 AM it didn’t look appetizing. Also they charge quite a bit for parking and there were homeless people sleeping in the elevators making it uncomfortable to get to our car and most of the garage was down for construction so there wasn’t a way to get around them.

Staff were so helpful and kind. Food options were great. Tons of unique amenities! I would have preferred room service. Also, a pool/spa is always great.

JVM-Milford-MI (10/5): Exceeded our expectations - Exceeded our expectations. Located minutes from the airport and next to the Mall of America. With a covered parking garage and two restaurants within walking distance, this AC Marriott has everything you could ask for. The rooms are clean and modern with multiple plugs near each bed stand as well as a well appointed bathroom. There is also a restaurant and bar in the hotel itself. Highly recommend this property.

kristann2014 (10/5): Perfect place to stay 💜 - I am struggling to find the right words to describe how wonderful this hotel and staff are. I came into town very early, way before any hotel would accommodate anyone and Natasha at the front desk went above and beyond to assist me, making sure I was taken care of, and continued to check on me even though she had many other tasks but made sure I was comfortable until my room was ready. I will be returning not only because everything is so clean and quiet but also because of the impression Natasha as well as all the other staff left. TOP NOTCH!
lucycan (10/5): Best hotel in the area - I stay here about once a month now. The location is excellent to get around and with Hazelwood right next door. Well staffed, well kept, and clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking in the garage. MOA across the street. Good nights sleep. Whats not to love?

DonaldC1831 (10/5): A very comfortable, convenient, and pleasant place to stay - We stayed at the AC hotel Bloomington for a couple nights in November 2025. The hotel was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and perfectly staffed. Joy at the front desk was an excellent hostess. She went out of her way to make sure we had a smooth check-in and took care of all of our needs. When was very convenient, just off interstate 494, across the street from the mall of America. The parking was well lit and safe.

Z1514XIpaigec (10/5): Clean and comfortable hotel after having flight issues. - When my Alaska flight was cancelled last minute, AC was able to get my mom and I a lovely, clean room with a great view and comfortable beds. The next morning we both had work meetings and Natasha was able to accommodate us with a late check out and comfortable, quiet areas to make our calls. Thank you so much Natasha you are a life saver. I will recommend this hotel to other just because of you!
MidwestSignorina (4/5): Lost item found but not returned - We’ve stayed at this hotel- and many other hotel in the vicinity- several times as our aon went to college in St Paul and now lives in the area. It’s newer, clean, quiet and the rooms are well appointed. We thought we had found our “forever hotel” when visiting St. Paul. We are lifetime titanium, so we try to stay at Marriotts when possible as my husband travels 80+ nights a year. Our last stay changed our mind. I left a drawerful of socks, panties and a (decent, newish Tory Burch ) belt behind. Called the hotel, they confirmed they had it all and asked us specifically to identify to the belt, confirmed they had it and then directed us to a website to pay for shipping. Paid $50 for shipping and received a box two days later but the belt was missing from the sealed box. I know I shouldn’t be surprised, and it was my fault for leaving it behind - but people suck sometimes. (And I never would have paid $50 to have them ship a few pairs of socks and panties back, I just happened to like the belt.) It almost would have felt better if they hadn’t found it at all. But to have them specifically identify it and then have it disappear less than a day later makes me never want to stay in a Marriott again. First world probs, I get it. Just venting and sad.

The hotel and rooms are in line with what I’ve come to expect from a well managed Marriott, but it’s usually the people who elevate the experience, and I’d definitely stay here again with Natasha leading the way. No breakfast , no lounge , no upgrades and treating you like your highest status doesn’t matter at all by putting you in the smallest room in the floor!! What a crock of SH**T . Thank AC hotel! You will never get money from me again !

lisaredm (10/5): 10 out of 10!! - Stayed at this hotel recently and I think it's now my new favorite when traveling to the area. I had not experienced an AC Hotel before. The hotel is just perfection. It sort of exudes a sleek elegance. The bar had yummy drinks and was always staffed, lots of seating in the lobby to relax and chat with friends or family. Many areas to do work if you are traveling on business including enclosed glass conference rooms. Wifi was great. Our room was perfectly clean with an upscale design. Bed was super comfy and the room was roomy. They really thought of everything. Walking distance to the Mall of America and the manager comped our parking during our stay. 10 out of 10 for sure.

sherrya622 (10/5): Top Notch Service for our Company’s Event with Guests from across the Country - My company hosted an event here earlier this week. We had guests coming from around the country. Everyone had incredible things to say about how well the hotel staff cared for them and how attentive they were to our guests every need. When we asked at the end of our 2 day meeting whether they had a good stay, we heard stories about Natasha and Tracy from the front desk who were incredibly helpful. Nick, the chef, attended to our group during lunch, made eye contact and greeted every guest, opened the door for each of us as we carried our plates to the outdoor patio, gathered our dirty dishes and carried them in for us. Someone said, there wasn’t a single hotel employee who passed by me without making eye contact and pleasantly greeting me. Everyone agreed! The event staff were amazing when we arrived, quickly adjusted, and happily moved the coffee and beverage station just outside the door of our conference room to create a bit more space and comfort for our group. This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had hosting or attending an event at any hotel. I’d highly recommend AC Hotel Bloomington for professional or personal events!

One of the women helping with breakfast took time to show me the espresso machine, and the breakfast itself was good. The room was clean and quiet. I’d highly recommend staying here!

jamiedF1291PO (10/5): A Cut Above the Rest in Service and Quality - I travel for work frequently and recently stayed at the AC Hotel Bloomington Mall of America. It is hard to "impress" me, as most hotels seem similar.... but this hotel was different. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful (Natasha, Dar, Maryle). The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was the best I have encountered during my business travel. Clearly a cut above the rest in the staff, cleanliness and food quality. I have stayed at hotels near by, as I travel to Minneapolis frequently for work, and I will not ONLY be booking this hotel. Thank you for your attention to detail and customer service (in a post COVID world where this seems to be dead). Highly impressed. I will see you all soon during my next visit to MN in August.

Nicholas (10/5): Our stay was very well facilitated, with extremely helpful staff. The main room and bathroom were essentially spotless, - Extremely clean/organized with very helpful staff. The amenities were communicated very clearly, and the layout of the hotel itself was very organized. One thing I think needs a boost is the continental breakfast. When we were eating this morning, our hot items were hardly warm, from what we noticed as a lack of a heating element. We did notice that two of the milk cartons left by the hard boiled eggs were 3 days expired. While the meal and experience at the buffet were decently priced and overall good, this is something that took away from our experience.
Haylie (9/5): Quiet, clean, comfy and close to the MOA. - The rooms were comfy, well designed and everything was extremely clean The breakfast needs some work. 15$ isnt unreasonable but the hot food had no element to keep it hot. Most my hot food was very cold.

He said there were no rooms available without even checking. Then, Natasha came and was absolutely amazing. Checked us in early and helped us sign up to become Marriott members. She was amazing! Comfortable rooms and large lobby with working spaces available. Natasha at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating for an early arrival and for using a private working space at the hotel. Highly recommend.

However, the only things I dont like is the cleaning of the rooms every other day. They will clean at request but I feel this is an excuse to limit the expense of payroll.
Ryan (9/5): Great location and easy access in and out of the area. - The hotel is ideally located right next to the airport and the Mall of America...there's a lot to do and see and a variety of restaurants and places to shop. Like other reviewers, I don't like the separate fee for parking...it's just not necessary as the hotel has its own lot anyway. I also thought the bed was 'meh' for the price of the stay.

Brittany (10/5): High quality and great location - This hotel was greater than what we were expecting. The overall aesthetic and atmosphere is elegant and modern. There are a few restaurants just next to the hotel in addition to what the hotel offers. WiFi was manageable, but wouldn't be great for heavy use or upload/download or streaming unless you pay to upgrade. Staff was very friendly. Will stay again if in Minneapolis. Also super close and convenient if going to the Mall of America.
