- David (10/5): Nice & Clean, restful stay on short notice - We made a decision to take a break about half-way through on a planned 12-hour road trip as we were approaching the tail effect of winter storm "Izzy." We had stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites Chillicothe in Chillicothe, Missouri in July 2021, and had a good experience. This trip in mid-January 2022 was also very pleasant and restful, with a very clean facility, comfortable bed and great breakfast buffet. The storm had moved on by the next morning and we were glad we stopped here for several reasons.

They will not make a change to the reservation at the property since it is from expedia unless you go all the way back to expedia and cancel their reservation. The hotel clerk was so welcoming and even went an extra EXTRA mile at 3 am as we’d forgotten something! She produced it immediately! Breakfasts was awesome & kept stocked! Coffee, hot at every hour. Water fresh & iced all hours. Rooms comfy and SO clean! (I own a cleaning company). Staff wonderful & helpful! The ONLY place in Chillicothe to stay...this is our hometown so we WILL be back, OFTEN!
- Josephine (8/5): Reunion - I enjoy the infused water available to guests in the lobby. I learned I should have specified my type of disability to get the right kind of handicapped assessible room. Staff was not aware that some were for hearing impaired and others for physical handicap like arthritis. I needed a raised commode. I learned to ask the right questions. Staff was very helpful and said that they were unaware of the differences and that they planned to educate themselves by going to the different rooms to identify differences.

However the breakfast was very disappointing. Oatmeal tasted funny, eggs were flavorless and rubbery, sausage was dry and weird. Toaster didn’t work. Also no information in a the room about amenities or nearby stores or restaurants.

Morning breakfast was wonderful. Many choices, smaller waffles, egg omlets, turkey bacon, regular bacon, hot oatmeal with all kinds of fruit and nut toppings, cold cereal, bagels, fruit, juice, coffee, tea...should have been choices to keep everyone happy. Food was great. Used the exercise room with great equipment. The pool was very little and several kids were there so opted for the treadmill instead of the pool to exercise. Easy location to find and newer hotel so everything was great. Staff very nice and helpful.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - This is a new facility so it is clean and tidy. Please note it is listed as having truck/trailer parking but it not at all suited for such parking. The parking lot does not go around the building and there are large islands so do not even pull in unless you plan on having to back out. If you are a light sleeper request a room in the front. Highway noise and truck traffic is pretty loud on the back side as it is fairly close to major highway.

The desk clerk was awesome even though it was a disaster she handled it as best she could for it being just her third week there I would like to mention that. The service was fine the system was terrible

- Michael (10/5): Newer Property - This is a fairly new property. It was in excellent condition and the staff was very friendly. Visited family while there. There isn't a lot to do in Chilicothe but when the area I would stay there again and recommend the property.
