• Gérard (8/5): Séjour agréable au carrefour de la mer et des monuments de La Valette et des Trois cités - L'établissement se situe dans un bâtiment ancien rénové et est équipé d'un ascenseur. Il faut dans certains cas monter quelques marches assez faciles pour accéder à son appartement. Les chambres sont propres et plutôt bien isolées du bruit, la rue Saint Paul étant par ailleurs moins bruyante que d'autres rues autour. Les petits déjeuners sont servis en sous-sol dans une cave bien aménagée et le personnel à l'écoute des clients. L'hébergement possède également une très belle terrasse avec une vue sur la ville. Il est bien situé car proche des monuments et des rues où se situent la plupart des restaurants. Mais plus proches encore, les restaurants Beati Paoli ou Il-Horza présentent une bonne alternative loin de l'agitation touristique des autres restaurants avec des plats de qualité (il est préférable de séserver). Un établissement agréable pour visiter La Valette et les Trois Cités. Une salle de bains un peu petite.

Prévenance du personnel, et les bons conseils de visites. La magnifique terrasse et la vue de la chambre 109. Le petit-déjeuner est correct. C'est un hôtel que je recommanderais à des amis qui veulent passer qq jours à La Valette. Il manque une chaise dans la chambre pour poser ses affaires le soir.

La colazione così così, cornetti congelati (siamo all'estero e va bene) ma presentati ancora crudi dentro e il resto di qualità medio scarsa. Il bagno nella nostra camera era piccolo, la doccia perdeva acqua allagando il bagno stesso e la finestra affacciava sullo scarico del wc, quindi un bagno praticamente cieco. La cucina sprovvista di pentole per cucinare. In generale camera molto semplice, un letto un armadio e una tv.

The host’s absolutely amazing, supplying huge breakfasts and offering tour advice - even giving on-the-spot hand-written suggestions, down to which side of the bus to sit on. Wow. • VINCENT 94 (9/5): Atipyque et bien situé - L’hôtel est très bien situé, il est proche de tout et des restaurants, dont un très bon juste à côté, mais il faut réserver. Nous étions au 4ème étage, il y a un ascenseur. Il y a une terrasse privative qui donne sur les 3 cités, et au dernier étage, il y a la terrasse commune d’où nous avons pu voir le feu d’artifice dans le port, moment vraiment sympathique. Tout le monde a été charmant, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse et le dévouement de la propriétaire pour nous réserver un taxi dans la nuit car notre vol retour était très tôt, merci encore. Nous avions un "appartement" un peu insolite, qui comprenait une petite cuisine, avec un petit réfrigérateur sous les marches, nous ne l’avons pas utilisée, à titre d’information, pour y accéder il faut monter et descendre quelques marches, pas facile d’accès, si vous avez des soucis de mobilités.

• Luac Leoni (10/5): - Maria è una donna molto solare e professionale essendo Maletese parla perfettamente anche Italiano, Ci ha trattato davvero bene ed è stata molto disponibile nello spiegarci tutto sull’albergo e nel consigliarci dove andare. Sia lei che il suo collega ci hanno suggerito di andare da “Isola Vittoriosa”, un posto che non conoscevamo e che abbiamo apprezzato molto. La stanza era abbastanza grande e la posizione dell’albergo era ottima, proprio in centro. Inoltre, sia la struttura che la camera rispecchiavano lo stile architettonico tipico di Malta. Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta di questa esperienza e tornerò sicuramente di nuovo quando visiterò Malta 🙂

Ne vem, kako je v drugih sobah, ampak meni je počutje pokvaril močen vonj po vlagi/plesni. Vem, da je to splošen problem na Malti, ampak res ni bilo prijetno. Drugače je bila soba čista.

• Carol (9/5): Very enjoyable stay at Paulo's Valletta. - The location was great - the Fast Ferry and all the attractions were withinin easy reach. The building was amazing (400 years old with lots of interesting, original features). The hotel provided a comfortable stay and did marvellously within the limitations of the ancient building. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing a map and information on all the must-see sights. The breakfast was good (very good, again considering the space involved). The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a good night's sleep. The roof terrace was welcoming and afforded stunning views. The shower needed a new head ( we managed, and we didn't complain, as it couldn't have been rectified at short notice). There was nothing else to dislike.

• Anastasiia (4/5): If the management would meet our needs on time and as promised, the overall stay would be better. - The location is great. Close to the center. View from the terrace is very pretty. We were traveling with a baby and I asked twice for a baby cot and got a confirmation. Once we arrived in the late evening - the cot was not there. In half an hour someone brought a very dirty cot with smelly sheets. I had to use bath towel to cover the mattress. Next day they provided clean sheets. The building is very old and it’s super bad isolation, so you wake up every time, when someone leaves their room, since you have literally slam the door. Also if someone is on the terrace at night and is loud - you would hear it. We basically didn’t sleep for half of the stay because of other guests who were out there until the midnight. I asked the manager to solve this problem for the next night, but nothing happened. The breakfast is very simple with the same food every day. At the end of the day, it feeds you, but nothing exceptional.

We couldn’t open the windows because the windows opposite were very close and workers were sitting in them, but it was definitely not critical. Also in the room was a bit damp and humid.

The builders starting work on the building directly in front of our balcony before 8 every morning. Not something that our hosts had any control over but did impact our enjoyment of the balcony and also detracted from the beautiful view of the harbour.

Since we arrived late at night, detailed instructions had been sent to us in advance, allowing for smooth and easy entry, and when we arrived, we found that the key had been neatly left for us in the lobby. The next day, we had the opportunity to meet the owners, who turned out to be especially warm and caring people. They took the time to explain the area to us, shared useful recommendations with precise directions, and even made a phone reservation on our behalf. Throughout the stay, we felt personal, patient service filled with genuine goodwill. The building where we stayed was an old house that had undergone careful renovation, and the combination of historic walls with modern comfort created a truly unique atmosphere. The suite was spacious and included a practical and pleasant kitchenette. A coffee machine with capsules was available to us, which added to the daily comfort. The level of cleanliness was very high; the room was attended to and arranged every day, including full towel refreshment. The bed provided especially deep and comfortable sleep. The balcony added another dimension to the stay, allowing us to experience the rhythm of life and the atmosphere of the street up close. As for breakfast, it provided an excellent start to the day. Coffee was prepared on the spot according to personal request, and the eggs were also cooked based on preference. In addition, cheeses, a variety of cold cuts, cereals, yogurts, vegetables, and fruits were served — everything needed for a satisfying and varied meal. In terms of location, the choice was especially successful. Within just a few minutes of walking, we reached the central street, and all the main points of interest in Valletta were within easy reach. Across from the hotel was a spacious and inviting food complex, and many restaurants and cafés operated nearby within a very short distance.

Molto carina la colazione servita nel seminterrato, nell'antica cantina. Comodo l'ascensore. Ho soggiornato molto bene: ringrazio e consiglio vivamente.
• Or (10/5): - First of all, the hotel staff was amazing. We arrived at night and they sent us detailed and precise instructions on how to get in and the key was waiting for us in the lobby. The next day we met the owners who were lovely. They explained everything we asked and gave us recommendations with explanations of where to go and how and even called for us to book a place. Always with a smile and a lot of goodwill. The building is an old renovated building. The place looks very beautiful and authentic. The room was very large and also included a nice kitchen. There was a coffee machine with capsules which was great. The room was clean and nicely organized. It was cleaned and arranged every day properly and towels were changed. The bed was very comfortable. Very nice breakfast. The guy who works in the dining room made coffee to order and also made you kind of eggs you want for breakfast. There were cheeses and sausages, cereals, yogurt and some vegetables and fruits. In short, everything you need. The location was unbeatable. 2 minutes walk from the main street. We were close to everything you need in Valeta. Across the street there was a large food court which was very nice. Everything was close including restaurants and cafes. קודם כל, צוות המלון היה מדהים. הגענו בלילה ושלחו לנו הנחיות מפורטות ומדוייקות איך להיכנס והמפתח חיכה לנו בלובי. למחרת פגשנו את הבעלים שהיו מקסימים. הסבירו לנו על כל מה ששאלנו ונתנו לנו המלצות עם הסברים לאן להגיע ואיך ואפילו התקשרו עבורנו להזמין מקום. תמיד עם חיוך והרבה רצון טוב. הבניין הוא בניין עתיק משופץ. המקום נראה מאוד יפה ואותנטי. החדר מאוד גדול וכולל גם מטבח נחמד. יש מכונת קפה עם קפסולות שזה נהדר. החדר נקי ומאורגן יפה. ניקו וסידרו אותו כל יום כמו שצריך והחליפו מגבות. המיטה מאוד נוחה. ארוחת בוקר נחמדה מאוד. הבחור שעובד בחדר האוכל מכין קפה על פי הזמנה וגם איזה סוג של ביצים שרוצים לארוחת הבוקר. יש גבינות ונקניקים, דגנים, יוגורט וקצת ירקות ופירות בקיצור כל מה שצריך. המיקום מנצח. 2 דקות הליכה מהרחוב הראשי. היינו קרובים לכל מה שצריך בולטה.

• Jaime (10/5): Excepcional alojamiento. Volvería aquí mismo sin pensarlo dos veces. - Excelente ubicación, en el centro mismo del casco histórico de La Valeta. Muy buen la atención del personal, pues nos indicaron con lujo de detalles cómo llegar a los sitios más emblemáticos de la ciudad (dejando señales identificatorias en un plano de La Valeta y alrededores que nos regalaron). El decorado del pasillo interior para llegar a las habitaciones era fenomenal, con pinturas y amoblado antiguo acorde a la majestuosidad de la capital de Malta. Nuestra habitación era magnífica, con un decorado especial y una recepción amplia que tenía un sillón, cocina, nevera, hervidor eléctrico y todo tipo de utensilios para cocinar allí mismo. Mención aparte merece el cuarto de baño, el cual tenía una ducha inserta en un habitáculo en cuya esquina había una especie de escalera antigua con escalones de piedra, lo que le daba un toque mágico al ambiente. En cuanto al desayuno, este era muy variado, el cual incluía huevos revueltos en caso que uno los quisiera. Por último, en elevador se podía llegar a una alta azotea desde la cual era posible obtener vistas maravillosas hacia el sector de las Tres Ciudades, al frente de La Valeta, tanto de día como de noche. No hay nada que no me haya gustado.

La camera dove abbiamo soggiornato e' piuttosto un appartamento dotato di angolo cottura. Carissimo il balcone. Colazione buona per le mie esigenze, trovi sia dolce che salato. Struttura consigliata.

• AlexisK (10/5): Amazing place in the heart of Valletta - The property is very centrally located and has everything one can think about. The property is very clean, a rarity in other European lands but a common place in Malta. The host was extremely nice and helpful, a dream for the guest. There's a place to park the car relatively nearby for a ridiculous 3 euros per 24 hours. The terrace on the roof is amazing, one can see the Three Cities exactly on the opposite side of the harbor. The Knights capital Birgu, where the Great Master de Valette ruled during the Siege could even be seen from above. Very highly recommend. Nothing to complain about.
