- Wing Yan (9/5): - 部屋は綺麗に清潔感百点💯ディナーは想像以外のおいしいかっだです。スタッフみなさんも親切し,プロフェッショナルなりました。ゲストに最後まで一番丁寧に対応されました。ありがとうございました😊
- Gilad (10/5): - Amazing place, great staff. Authentic Japanese style, feels most comfortable. Excellent food. Top class rooms, every detail is thought of. Nothing
- Whittaker (10/5): Perfection - The property was exceptional. Never have we experienced something like Keiryuso Siorie. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with the highest level of service and comfort. The photos don’t do this property justice - it is incomparable. We were lucky to be there in the snow and it was an absolute delight. Only 1 hour easy drive to Matsumoto. Be sure to have the dinner prepared by the chef - it is an exceptional experience. Nothing can be faulted. It was perfection.
- ORLY (10/5): -
- Galit (10/5): - מיקום מעולה וכל השאר, יפני טיפוסי מדהים.
- Isabella (10/5): - Lovely staff, helpful Signage only in Japanese. Good to have an English sign to locate the place

- Li Chen (10/5): -
- Valentina (10/5): - Everything was exceptional. From the host, to the Micheline style dinner, to the Amazing breakfast, private room, the numerous onsen and amazing view.
We can't thank you enough. My boyfriend proposed to me while taking a photo in our private garden, you made this trip to Japan the most memorable one .
- Chung (10/5): 10/10 - Peaceful and relaxing Foot bath at the balcony had a few insects, though they were inevitable
- Victoria (10/5): - Outstanding in every way! The room was immaculate and decorated with locally sourced furniture. Beds were comfortable and the massage chair was lovely and highly effective! We also really enjoyed all the nice drinks and looking out at the river, trees, and stars from our footbath on our balcony. The food was exceptional - both the dinner and the breakfast were incredibly tasty and beautifully presented. We also really enjoyed our private 45 minute onsen bath (you can book this when checking in and because there are only 8 rooms, you should definitely get a session). The ability to park the car before check-in and explore Kamikochi was also super useful. We'll be going back!
- Jiramet (10/5): -
- Phyu (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet, very traditional feel. Great location to Kamikochi
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -

- Satishpal (9/5): Superb - Such an awesome experience staying here. If you are coming here by bus, it can be quite troublesome to get the timing and bookings right.
- Swee (10/5): Highly Recommended - The Rokan place is very clean. The host was very friendly and easy-going, showing our family around to all the facilities in the place. We been to many Ryokan but the place stand up due to the personal touch from the host. Highly recommended and will definitely come back when I visit Matsumoto again. The place is out of town. Public transport is only by Sawando Bus Terminal. Nonetheless, a true ryokan is supposed to be out town so that you can immense in nature and tranquility.
- Yiu (3/5): Poor -
- Suthasinee (9/5): Superb -
- Thidarat (9/5): Superb -
- Agnieszka (10/5): Fabulous onsen experience - I absolutely loved the private outdoor bath inside the room. It was wonderful to soak on your terrace. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The dining experience was amazing. Each group of guests had a private space for dining. The food was absolutely incredible. We had eight-course dinner in a Japanese style. There was also a very convenient parking. The staff was incredible, very hospitable. The service was very personable. I liked everything.
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -
- Max (10/5): Outstanding - One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was perfect and I can't think of one thing that we would have changed. The service from the staff was definitely the highlight, but the food, the room and the onsen were outstanding.
It's a short busride to Kamikochi bridge where the hiking is beautiful. Head up.
It's not that easy to get to on public transport. We took a bus (or two I believe) from Matsumoto and from what we saw, there are certain busses that stop their service in the afternoon. Once at the station you then have to walk a few minutes from the last bus stop to the hotel. The setting seems a bit dull as the hotel is on the edge of a huge carpark and the view of the river has the occasional car that drives by, but once you're inside you are definitely at peace.
- Arpaporn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julieth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yuhan (10/5): Awesome japanese style hotel. -
- Tan (10/5): A special memory and place to keep close to my heart - We came here after a 2 days camping trip at kamikochi. It was such a relaxing and wonderful pampering experience. All the small touches and the friendly staff. Despite English being a second language, they tried their best to communicate their service and explain in detail as much as possible throughout our stay and during our meals. They are passionate about their service and it was a joy to experience their warm hospitality. Nothing. I hope to be back again!
- Flax (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kristin (10/5): Exceptional - Beauty near national park hiking Hot Springs and traditional Japanese on Sunday stay with dress and food very fancy and special. I loved it would be happy to stay longer on the pricey side, but it’s a very special place
- Monthon (10/5): 🇹🇭🇹🇭Nice environment. Room is very clean including essentials facilities and amenities. Dinner and breakfast were superb -
- Ong (7/5): Good - Nice room, exceptional food Location is right beside a huge car park. I'd expected it to be more secluded. However once inside it is quiet and very private.
Staff don't speak much English.
- Theerved (8/5): Very good -
- Zohar (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was super perfect.
Highly recommended ♡
- Michal (9/5): Highly recommended - Beautiful place and a great experience. One of the staff members recommended a short trip to a frozen waterfall -Zengoronotaki falls - which was amazing
- Ying (10/5): Excellent! - An exceptional ryokan - it incorporates both elegance and warmth. Amazing Japanese Kaiseki cuisine experience! Best ryokan meal experience I have ever had. Picturesque open onsen and available on private reservations too. Excellent staff - they are very thoughtful and helpful.
- Larry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karawawattana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leon (6/5): Pleasant - The chef and team are doing their best. Hotel is located very close to bus terminal. However when snowing days , road is not easy to walk with a heavy luggage . In this case shuttle service to pick up is necessary.
Since this hotel is far away from the main cities. Only one bus a day can be used for guests to travel . ( From Matsumoto city , arriving time is 13:01pm . It is no way for guests to check in until 15:00pm !
We arrived at 13:10pm, they didn't give us a cup of hot tea , it is not the standard way of a Japanese guest service . We didn't see their manager during our stay. The SOP of this hotel needs to be improved !
- Eva (7/5): Good for short stay - The meals were quite a spread, in private area as we are a family of 8 so that was quite nice. The private onsen in room was cozy, with plenty of towels offered. The variety of the meals could be improved. We only stayed 2 nights and both meals were similar, can't imagine staying longer. Was expecting private shower in the room since this is private onsen in room, perhaps this info could be clearer written in the ryokan description. There is nothing in the neighbourhood to walk or eat.
- Helen (8/5): Good onsen and excellent cuisine. Room was decent. Service needed improvements. - The two meals provided were both excellent. the garden, the common areas and the onsen were all well maintained and picturesque. The service was a bit uneven. Some staffers were good, but we had a Nepalese server who did not speak English well and her explanations were confusing. She called after we returned to our room following dinner and asked us to go back to the front desk to pay on the spot. We have been to many ryokans and had never been asked to pay on the night before check out. When I asked her why, she could not answer and just put down the phone. That kind of behavior was below par for a ryokan in this price range. We felt that she needed more training before she could serve foreign guests independently.
- Golfer006 (10/5): Perfect for couple, meals were great, onsen beside the stream was especially special at night. - Wow, it is one of the best ryokan I have stayed in Japan. A very luxurious, boutique and romantic accommodation. However, what stood out was the service and hospitality of the staffs. NIL
