- Bianca (9/5): Echt een heel mooi hotel, met een prachtig tuin. Het is een klein hotel en voelt daardoor heel knus. - Het personeel was ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. Ze hielpen met reserveringen en transport. Na een uitstapje van een paar dagen naar Zimbabwe, kwamen we terug in het hotel en konden we zelfs vroeg inchecken.

Kennedy, Stella and all staff went above and beyond to make us welcome and help us enjoy Livingstone to the fullest. We regret not staying the whole week there instead of having the two last nights in Victoria Falls. A bit far out but manageable with cabs and even walking.

- Matthias (10/5): Intimes Hotel mit familiärer Atmosphäre - perfekt für einen Urlaub in Livingstone - Ngoma Zanga ist in jeder Hinsicht ausgezeichnet. Mr. Kennedy und das gesamte Personal sind äußerst aufmerksam, professionell und zu jeder Zeit hilfsbereit. Ich empfehle Tours und Aktivitäten direkt im Hotel zu buchen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber und bequem. Das Frühstück wird jeden Morgen individuell nach Bestellung am Tisch frisch zubereitet und ist köstlich. Alles in allem perfekt. Am ersten Tag waren noch viele Mücken im Zimmer - das Personal hat mittels Mückenspray Abhhilfe geschafft und mit geschlossenen Fenstern bleibt das Zimmer mückenfrei. Der Pool könnte eine Renovierung vertragen, man kann aber trotzdem wunderbar entspannen.

Lodge is a few blocks from the main road, but the unpaved roads to/from main road quite dark at night and muddy after the rain. Place also not entirely quiet at night. Also the rooms bit overpriced, compared to some real safari lodges.

- Shellenberg (9/5): Ngoma Zanga is just the size for a quiet getaway spot that has everything you need right on site! - Ngoma Zanga was fantastic! It is small and intimate but has everything you need. The rooms are comfortable (awesome hot shower!), the pool is lovely and the staff and restaurant are great. All of our meals were really good - breakfast especially - but we also ate lunch and dinner there some days. The staff was attentive and helpful. We had a room that opened up to the pool - highly recommend asking for a pool front room. The location is technically walkable to the heart of town but was a little further from the market that we anticipated. It turned out to be more than fine since we took cars most places. The location is really close to town and to the river and there is a grocery store very close by (on foot). The only food change I'd make is having fresh fruit at breakfast but perhaps nothing was in season?

I was incorrectly overcharged and, despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the lodge has refused to refund the overpaid amount. The manager’s response was disappointing and lacked basic customer service.

- Jennifer (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing lodge with phenomenal staff. - The staff were amazing. So welcoming and on top of everything. My room was upgraded and it was lovely. Comfortable, spacious, relaxing, and quiet. The grounds were also very nice and everything was well decorated/designed. I would say that one thing I would have liked was screens on the windows. It was quite nice weather and I would have kept the windows open instead of using the AC if there was a screen to keep the bugs out, but I am not sure if it is possible because of the way the windows open out.

They also do not just make up your room in the morning, they also come in and set you up for the night with the net down. Only for the whole country no unlber availability. But staff always helped me call a cab.

Le personnel, quelle que soit sa fonction, est d’une gentillesse admirable! La localisation est top par rapport au centre-ville et le calme ambiant invite à la détente! Il est déconseillé de se promener à pieds dans les rues environnantes durant la nuit. De jour, aucun problème! Il serait sympa de proposer des cocktails sur la carte des boissons.

- anaseitz (9/5): Eine echte Oase in der Stadt - Nach einer langen und beschwerlichen Autofahrt haben wir uns in der Ngoma Zanga Lodge sofort wohl gefühlt und konnten uns bei einem Drink an der Bar entspannen. Das Personal ist extrem zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Abendessen war hervorragend (unbedingt die lokalen Spezialitäten probieren!) und der empfohlene Ausflug zu den Victoria Falls war top organisiert.

- Charles (9/5): Perfect spot to relax and unwind whilst taking in the natural beauty of Livingstone - Attentive staff, fantastic fresh food We felt safe throughout our stay We were a nice walk from the centre of the town The staff organised our trips and helped with everything which we required The only thing I would’ve liked would have been a selection of fresh fruit at breakfast such as watermelon /fruit salad however there were apples and pears!
- Audrey (10/5): Peaceful, friendly and comfortable lodge - This small lodge is delightful. It feels like home. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean, with good mosquito netting. The public areas are beautifully decorated in a traditional style. There are lounge areas in reception and by the restaurant. The food at breakfast and dinner is high quality. The garden and pool area are very well kept, with comfortable loungers. The lodge manager Kennedy and the entire staff team are just the best. They make a great stay special! There is nothing to dislike

Это то место, куда хочется возвращаться вечером после экскурсий и больше никуда не выходить!

- phiwe (10/5): An exceptional and heartwarming experience,truly felt like a home away from home! - Everything about Ngoma Zanga Lodge exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. The manager, Kennedy, was truly exceptional,even when we arrived very late for check-in due to delays at the border, he went out of his way to make sure we were welcomed and settled in comfortably. He personally assisted us with booking activities, arranged discounts, and made sure everything ran smoothly. When it was time to leave, he even woke up early in the morning to see us off, which really showed his dedication and care. The food was delicious, the pool was cleaned every morning, and the room was spotless with very comfortable beds. The overall service was outstanding and everyone made us feel at home. Nothing to dislike

- Bharat Vohra (9/5): A very comfortable stay, with some of the nicest people looking after us. - A charming little property, with comfortable rooms, and a poolside restaurant serving very good food. Special shout out to Kennedy, Destiny and Naomi, who were extremely caring and made our stay very comfortable. The lighting in the room was a touch too bright, in my opinion. The bathroom could do with some additional counter space, given how spacious the bathroom itself was. Other than that, no complaints really.

- Carol (10/5): Excellent - Staff were really lovely. We had an issue and it was resolved very quickly. Beautiful hotel. Linen and towels pristine. The location was not too far out of town but you probably need a taxi to get most places. Taxis are cheap.

- Glen (10/5): - A great smaller lodge, with wonderful staff.. the room was a good size and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. The staff are all very good, but a special mention to the manager, Kennedy who always goes that little bit further to ensure the stay was pleasant. The onlr small downside is the outside area, which seems a little dodgy, due to the road conditionss, however the lodge has no control of thet. Will definitely return
- Marco (7/5): Lo staff ha fatto la differenza! - L’arredamento della struttura richiama lo stile locale. L’ambiente è molto tranquillo e silenzioso. Il personale è molto gentile, un ringraziamento di cuore a Maggie, Stella e Kennedy. Le attività offerte (tour) sono molto costose. Il ristorante vanta una vasta offerta ma non di ottima qualità. Anche la colazione è migliorabile. L’ambiente è pieno di zanzare, per questo la camera dispone di una zanzariera da letto.
- Alexis (10/5): Merveilleux ! - Je vais essayer de procéder de la manière la plus pragmatique possible en abordant différents points d’importance : -Avant l’arrivée : très bonne communication avec l’établissement. -Localisation : l’endroit n’est situé qu’à une petite quinzaine de minutes à pieds du centre-ville et pourtant l’environnement est d’un calme absolu! On se croirait à des lieux d’une ville animée. -Établissement : petit établissement disposant de 9 unités d’une propreté incroyable! L’ambiance est très familiale, calme et loin, très loin, de ce qu’on peut trouver dans les grands complexes hôteliers de la région. L’ensemble est très bien équipé et décoré avec goût. La literie est très confortable. -Management : le manager, Kennedy, dirige l’établissement et le personnel avec diligence, sympathie et prévenance. Il est à l’écoute des clients et les assiste en cas de besoin. Il est également de bons conseils pour les activités. -Offre de restauration : petit-déjeuner parfait ! Pour les repas de midi et du soir: la carte n’est pas gigantesque ce qui est un gage de qualité et de fraîcheur. Honnêtement, nous avons très bien mangé. -Personnel: ce sera mon dernier point car, à mon sens le plus important ! Tout le monde est adorable, souriant et attentionné. Je voudrais particulièrement mentionner Naomi qui est d’une gentillesse incroyable sans que cela soit « commercial ». Je reviendrai dans cet établissement ! Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison ! J’ai eu l’occasion de séjourner dans différents lodges à Livingstone et, honnêtement, c’est celui que je préfère !
- Robert (10/5): We wished that we could’ve stayed for longer. - There was nothing not to love about this stunning little lodge. The staff were incredibly helpful and always had a smile for you. We really loved that they only had a small amount of rooms. This made it a quiet relaxing place to enjoy. The breakfast, lunches and dinners were brilliant. We loved the pool and the little bar attached to the restaurant. It was all very well maintained. The lodges proximity to the little town was great. You could even walk there. Also very cheap to get into town by Taxi. This was USD $5 for a short ride. I wouldn’t recommend this walk at night because you may come into contact with some large African elephants. 🐘 We felt very safe in the property. All of our activities were organised through the hotel. Including calling a taxi for us to get into town the cost of a taxi to the start point of a sunset cruise or to see the Victoria Falls was USD $10. There was absolutely nothing. We didn’t love about the property. We are extremely sad to leave.
