Guest Reviews
- John (9/5): - Convince TV hard to use
- Liz (10/5): - Owners are working hard to improve
- Liz (10/5): - New owners are super nice and working hard to improve the property. Would absolutely stay again!
- Michael (10/5): - Very nice.
- Edda (10/5): - Very clean and newly painted. Get to park right in front of the room. Reasonable price. New beds, good location, very friendly owners.
- Stephanie (6/5): - It was okay. Safe enough. I was on the third floor and the elevator was out of service for my entire trip. That seemed a bit odd.
- Steve (10/5): - I was very impressed with the staff! Very informative and accommodating! I should also comment on how comfortable the bed was. Awesome! I would highly recommend!
- Alfredo (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): - It was a business trip. It was a good stay.
- Liz (10/5): - Only complaint is there is no breakfast
- Lisa (10/5): - I was nice
- John (8/5): Fairview - ease of entry check in fast and simple small room no decent chair
- Sandra (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good. Owner was very friendly and helpful. The motel is starting to show its ware,
- Jarrod (10/5): Great Stop - Always a great stay here!
- Melissa (2/5): Straight from hell - The only windows in the hotel had air conditioning units stuck in them. It was disgusting and we did not stay
- Paul (8/5): - The people that owned it were beautiful and friendly and religious and very nice
- Gloria (10/5): - The property is a bit older but it has all you need for a comfortable stay and it’s clean. I think the oldness of the property & room is part of its charm. Usually with outdated rooms, it’s not a clean room but that is not the case here. I found it very clean. The gentlemen at the front desk was very friendly and told me where I could grab a bite to eat. I would definitely stay again if I’m ever around passing through. It’s very convenient to Gloss Mountain State Park as well as the Great Salt Plains Wildlife Refuge where you can dig for Selenite crystals.
- Carol (6/5): - Needs to be updated but clean! Little too much on the cost for the room, staff was very nice
- Kondratowicz (10/5): Friendly staff, very comfortable, no noise, ice machine, plenty of parking, and very clean. - Did not have breakfast. Left too early in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff gave us a tour of the room, showed us how everything works, and the cleanliness of the motel was superb. Nothing really! It was a great place to stay, especially for the price. No hidden charges. Access to ice machine, plenty of parking, friendly staff and very clean. Everything I could expect. Thank you and I will be back in a year.
- James (10/5): - This is a very awesome experience the staff are great thank you
- Terri (10/5): - Customer service was great! The room was dated but clean.
- 757kirkm (10/5): Right At Home! - My son and I took a hunting trip to Okahoma and found the Knights Inn using basic search. I called and got a quick reply and confirmation that we could bring our pet (hunting lab). Pets are welcomed. Cheapest rate in town at 55.00 for two queens. When we arrived late in the evening the host was available and very friendly. The building and grounds were well taken care of. A good sign of things to come. You can tell alot about your experience with mom and pop places by a quick glance of the property and how it is taken care of. Check in was smooth and our host even walked us to our room and personally showed us all of the amenities. We traveled during a time of bitter temps. The host had the heat running and the room was warm and toasty upon arrival. Everything in the room was spotless. Dated, Yes, but spotlessly clean. Nice TV with good channel selection, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, blow dryer. Shower worked great and plenty of hot water. We stayed two nights. We were gone hunting all day and came back to a clean room with beds made. This was super refreshing after a long, cold day in the field. I would add one more thing about the tremendous hospitality of the host. When we got settled in on night one I went to find the ice machine for a night cap. Could not find it so I went to the front. Unfortantely the ice machine water line had frozen due to extreme temperatures. Not a big deal but we were tired and it was getting late so I didn't want to go buy ice. About ten minutes upon returning to my room there was a knock at the door and the host had went and bought me a bag of ice... Super cool gesture. (Service is extremely important to me). I tried to pay him but he declined. I left him a $10.00 bill when we left so in the end I got to pay him..HAHA.. We'll be back on more hunting trips in the future and it will be nice not to have to shop for lodging.. I know exactly where I will be staying. Overall I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Don't waste your time or money going anywhere else if you ever find a lodging need in little Fairview, Oklahoma!
- Larry (2/5): - Didn't stay.......was told a refund if I cancelled before 6 pm the night before.......called and cancelled and no refund
- Justin (10/5): - Great affordable place to stay! Rooms are a little out dated but super clean. Very quiet and peaceful.
- Kathryn (10/5): - Wonderful hospitality.
- Marsha (5/5): Passable -
- Marshall (10/5): Exceptional - I loved how cozy it was. Very friendly staff.
- Darrell (4/5): Not a place I would recommend - The bed was comfortable. The room was dark and seriously outdated. They have a real problem with flies there. I would imagine there were always 100 flies waiting at the door trying to get in every time we opened the door. It was impossible to get in the room with luggage and not let a dozen flies in the room. To take care of the fly problem they provided a wimpy little red fly swatter. To at least make the night survivable, we went to the Family Dollar next door and bought some good fly swatters, fly strips and fly spray. We discovered the fly spray was only good for a few seconds. The strips did manage to pick up a few flies. Most of the real work was done with the swatters. Other than that, it is hard to remember the room.
- Leroy (8/5): Very good - Staff
- Mike (10/5): Good value - Clean and quiet
- Jeff (1/5): Disgusting. I can't believe Booking would list this place. - No breakfast, only millions of flies Bathrooms old, stained, unusable. Mattresses were worn out, sheets threadbare. All room surfaces were greasy.
Motel adjacent to stockyard, stink and noise.
- Sherry (7/5): Great stay if you are not looking for extra hotel activities - Room was extra large and the staff was amazing! No pool or other features
- Ely (9/5): Superb -
- Kristina (8/5): Overall it was some of the best sleep I had gotten - No breakfast the beds was super comfy and the room was really clean. The only thing is I forgot to lock the back door and as I was laying watching TV a guy walks in my back door and back out after seeing me in the room
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashley (8/5): Good for a quick, solo trip. - My stay was pleasant, and good for a quick trip! (2 night stay) The check in details say no front desk. I discovered upon arrival that the owners likely live behind the front desk area, and all you need to do is ring the bell and they will assist you with check in at the desk. The lady was very pleasant and kind, and waiting for me to arrive for check in. The room was simple but clean, except for the shower curtain which needs to be changed as it had a bit of mildew on it. It’s a very safe location, which I appreciated while traveling as a single female who left my key in the outside door on the first night of my stay. I wasn’t able to utilize the WiFi which was posted inside the door of my room. I didn’t use room service during my stay. They could use an update on towels and headboards, but the cleanliness is most important for me, and that was very acceptable. I’d stay again for a short trip, as the cost was $50 less than the location across the street!
- John (6/5): Pleasant -
- Misty (8/5): - We could tell they were in process of remodeling. For the price I say we scored and the hospitality from the employees was better than we have experienced at more expensive 0laces. We would stay agon if ever in the area.
- Kasi (10/5): - Good
- okcweddingofficiants (10/5): Great Nostagic place to stay - This was our first visit to Fairview to officiate a wedding ceremony and we decided to stay the night. It only took seeing the motel to be taken back to nostalgia of the motels growing up on Route 66 in Oklahoma City.
Being able to park and walk right in with patio access as well this is a great set up. I just wished we had another evening to enjoy sitting outside. The unique shape of the building provides privacy even when others are outside.
You can envision Movie Nights outside when staying here for an extended stay. The grassy area by the pool is great for any pets or just to reconnect barefoot with the earth.
Great place to stay with nice friendly owners we talked about so much that I forgot why I was even in the office. Oh yeah to get extra coffee.
Room was really clean, no odors, great hot water and water pressure with everything else you would expect a mini fridge, iron, blow dryer, coffee maker and two unexpected items a fly swatter and basket of hand towles specifically to get dirty. Wow guilt free use go figure it's such a great idea.
The Most Comfortable Beds and the owners said they had just purchased all new mattresses.
Very Affordable and definitely our Preferred Hotel Choice when in the area and even worth the drive when visiting Enid.
- patsteve2018 (8/5): Oil worker - Nice and clean place to stay in small town. We like it. Good people. We enjoy pool. Pool is best close to room . My kids love the stay. We will come again next year. Our other family members also like it. Small nice place.
- jsdbidensisjei (10/5): AWESOME - I was working near Fairview, and decided to stay at the new Knights Inn, and I had a good experience. The family that owns it is very friendly, and helped me with any problems I had. Very kind and very helpfull. They motel feels lively and very clean from the outside and inside. Will come back if I ever go back.
- peacepatel14 (8/5): Knights Inn - Small town but loved it, and loved the pool. The staff was very kind and friendly. There also many restaurants near by too, so you can go walking. Lovely place to stay, and I had no problem and wouldn’t mind coming back!
- rn2nv57 (2/5): Worst place EVER - The sheets were heavily stained and the carpet was not clean. You had to wear shoes because we were afraid to go barefoot. The bathroom had no bath mat to step out on because “We don’t provide those”. The bathroom floor was also very stained. It is an older motel but it could have been clean and old and been ok. However as we were getting ready to go, we also found a couple of bedbugs. Now instead of resting I am doing loads of laundry
- V6499UTjasonh (8/5): stayed many times - i've stayed there many times. great value nice clean rooms. now part of a chain. visit program a plus. great family run business. close places to eat with four choices to choose from. does get filled quickly because of out of area workers being the biggest draw back.
- blackyspotty (8/5): good room - Iam passing by so we stay here.we like to stay here good people.nice and clean room.small motel but nice. Affordable and get points also if u whyndham member.town s small but its very nice to stay here. We really enjoyed.
- C1108DVsarab (8/5): Room - I have stayed in this hotel a couple times and I really like it!! I'm comfortable when I'm there and it's small and cozy!!! I highly recommend this hotel if you are wanting something simple!!! Thank y'all for letting me stay! I enjoyed it!!
- S6149YXjanetp (2/5): I WILL NEVER STAY HERE, NOR WOULD I RECCOMEND ANYONE TO STAY - On 9/13/16 at 10:30 am I phoned this hotel to get some information. When I looked the hotel up on the internet it said they were out of business. If the women who answers the phone there today continues to be employed there you will be out of business because to run a hospitality business, one needs to be hospitable! I have never experienced anything like I did today. She was rude, not helpful, and avoided questions, then she hung up on me. This was a gross display of her un-professionalism. Yeah I want to say here! To make matters worse when I called back she wouldn't answer the phone, and when she finally did, she just hung right back up on me. WOW! A friend of mine actually referred me here. I was calling from my office, to book a room, but I wanted to speak to GM first. My parents need a place to stay in October. It will be a cold day in you know what before I book a room here. Your hotel must have so much business that you have no use for another customer. I highly doubt that is the case here. I am disgusted beyond belief by the way I was treated, and if your hotel is not out of business yet, it will be if you keep treating potential guests, (revenue for your hotel) this way.
Suggestion for you folks....... Get rid of the women who answered your phone today or put her
in the back of the house. She absolutely has no business being the first person a potential guest encounters and she gives the Hotel a lousy first impression.
- JohnH198 (10/5): CUTE LITTLE HOTEL STOP - Great stop over on my way to OKC.
Perfect and clean and lovely place.
Very close to restaurants and walking distance to most of the places. Lots of parking and kids can play in the pool.
Free wifi and service desk greeted us so well.
- OTRUser22 (2/5): Bed Bugs! - Okay so I'll off by saying that this is a motel that you don't want to stay at! It says they have a pool but it's not open, They charge $60 for a double room, and it's not clean at all! the bathroom is nasty and our friends that stayed next door found bed bugs! So I would say stay somewhere else.
- Jack4355197 (2/5): Not worth the money! - We thought that we were lucky to get the last room in the town. Boy were we wrong! The room was not clean - at all. There were hairs in the bed and on the pillow, and I don't mean 1 or 2...I mean it was obvious that the sheets were not changed in between guests. The coffee pot still had coffee in it. There was a used coffee cup and silverware on the counter. The room was full of flies! We would have left if the next stop wasn't so far away. So, after we went fly hunting, we stripped the beds and slept in our sleeping bags, luckily we had been camping. The next morning, after checkout and about 90 minutes down the highway, we get a phone call from the hotel stating that we have to bring the blankets back that we stole. We told the staff that we did not take anything from the hotel, that the blankets were all on the floor next to the beds and that we used our own due to the fact that theirs were soiled. He then told us that we had gotten more blankets from the office and they had a recording of it and would be calling the police. We, once again, informed them that they were incorrect and that if we had to come back that we would involve the police and be demanding a full refund and gas money in exchange. About 30 minutes later, we received another call stating that everything had been a mistake. I will be watching my credit card bill closely on this one!
- SamanthaR110 (4/5): Keep driving. - I'm not sure where to start with this place. I guess I'll first state the obvious and say that this is in a VERY small, very quiet, town. The rooms are spacious enough, with a very 1960s decor. The shower actually made me laugh out loud. The shower head reached me at right below shoulder level and I'm a woman who is 5'7". Watching my 6'5" boyfriend try to shower in this thing was the funniest thing I have seen in months. He almost could have showered on his knees, and it been the perfect height. It had to have been designed by a dwarf. The bed was big, but there was no fitted sheet on the bed (would it cost that much more to buy a proper fitting sheet?)..there was only a flat one that kept sliding off all night. Also, the bed isn't attached to the wall, so if you turn over twice in the middle of the night you can expect to wake up with all your pillows having fallen down in the space between the bed and the concrete walls, and the bed to be 2 feet from where it started. They do not tell you when you check in that while your room DOES come with a mini-fridge, they keep them turned off, so don't just set your drinks in there and expect them to be cold a couple hours later. You have to open the door to the fridge and manually turn it on; not a huge inconvenience, but it would be nice for them to stick a note on the front of it so you'd know and not just stick your leftovers (from the only restaurant in town I might add) into the fridge to eat the next day, and wake up to spoiled food. There is a small pool that would have been nice to use since it was 100 degrees and there is literally NOTHING else to do in the small town after they roll up the sidewalks at dusk, but it was empty & did not appear to have been filled in a long time. There are no vending machines, no ice machine, and no laundry area. The room had a disgustingly dirty & broken fly swatter on the nightstand which was kinda gross, and i definitely question the cleanliness of the linens. They do have decent flat screen TVs and the rooms come with Direct TV, so you can at least recline back against your cinder block wall headboard and watch that. There is another motel almost right next door..whatever it cost, just go there.
- Mbrewer19 (2/5): Record setting check out!!!!! Jason bates would be ashamed of this dump - Oh my god!!!!!! Checked in and went into a freaking horror movie setting. Just pick one. The bugs off Indiana jones would be eaten there quickly. My wife refused to even sit down while booking at the hotel next door. We will have have nightmares from this experience and I can only imagine what the csi forensics could find there. Sleeping in the dumpster would be a much better option. I'm not sure what kind of pesticide they use but I'm pretty sure cancer is in out future from this. I feel like less of a person from standing in there for 2 minutes
- JohnH198 (8/5): GREAT PLACE TO STAY-- Its a lovely cute place to stay. - Me and my kid stayed at this motel and it was a great stay. I did checked the review and was only 1 review on it. But, we had not issues with bed bugs. The staff was friendly and very courteous. We stayed there for a week and it was clean place to stay. My son loved it cuz of pool. I would definately come back to stay here while returning back from Kansas.
- dove1965 (2/5): BED BUGS - My Husband Stayed There And was eaten up by BED BUGS!!!!!!! HE Suffered and miss a week of work. when I contacted the owner. They spoke little English or acted like it anyway and they were VERY RUDE.. I contacted the health department and bed bugs were found and he shut down several rooms. The report is at the Heath Dept for any one to check out.It is open to the public , I Recommend that no one stay at this hell hole! I have photos of my husband and if you have never seen bed bug bites they are Horrible, Painful and Disgusting. The owner of the motel was so uncaring and rude. I wish they had to go through this just once so they know what it is like.
