• Patricia (4/5): I would never stay there again. - The cabins were updated. I liked having a barbecue grill. The property was was clean and was well carer for. The cabin had a strong mildew smell. The cabin was located next to a busy travel route so you can hear traffic all day.

Nous avons fait un feu de camp (possibilité d’acheter le bois sur place) et avons passé une belle soirée - nous avons eu la visite d’une biche 😀 Situé au bord de la route mais pas trop bruyant. Suggestion : mettre à disposition un kit pour allumer le feu
• Ashley (4/5): A good place for a loud blanket fort - VERY loud. Benches are provided outside, which was nice and cute, but it was so loud we could not hear each other and had to go inside (it was still very loud inside). The shower looked like it had better days, the pad was uneven and squishy in spots, the spigot? had a gaping hole and was not fastened properly. Some of the walls had random holes in them. Bathroom door doesn't close fully... and probably more too. Lots of chairs though, very good for a blanket fort.

However, to get to the river you have to walk300 yard thru tall river grass, single file. Cabins are on busy Rt. 31 so you get some road noise. Small but good use of space. • Yin (9/5): Superb - The cabins were quaint and comfortable and clean! The game room was well supplied and we had fun with the badminton! The only negative thing we had to say was that the road was a bit close and thus it was noisy, but I know this can't really be helped.

• Anne (10/5): Cedar Ridge Cabins were just as discribed, not glamping but certainly comfortable and clean. - This was the perfect location for a tour of the area. We were close to several small towns along Lake Michigan that were on our itinerary. The cabins were right on M31 so there was a bit of road noise early in the morning and at night.

• Ruell (10/5): 4th of July weekend - This cabin is adorable. It was spotless, very accommodating and much thought went into it. All the conveniences you could ask for, plus it's quaint, comfy and the beds were wonderful! All the little added extra touches are so appreciated and were really super nice. We will definitely be back. What a gem this is to book and the owners are gems as well what a smooth easy process to check in and check out and they couldn't have done a better job, honestly. If you stay here you will not be disappointed! Not a thing, everything was just lovely.
• JoAnn (4/5): - Too close to a busy road. Nice cabin though, but A/C and fridge were off when we entered. Took a while for both to cool down. Inadvertently went to the wrong cabin and our key unlocked their door. Yikes! Thank goodness we had a deadbolt for the evening. Was concerned about someone coming into our cabin during the day though. Hope this gets fixed asap.
• Matthew (10/5): - Super smooth check-in. They texted us early in the day to let us know the cabin was ready and where to find the key. When we arrived, it was easy to let ourselves in with clear instructions and the private cabin was just what we needed to rest and recharge. I was surprised the property was so close to a major road - the fencing and layout were such that it felt quiet and secluded, even with the convenient access from the road. Super easy location.

A lot of consideration was given to Travelers needs to deal with their stuff. The property is great with the fire pit, trail to the Platte River, game room, well maintained yard. I totally recommend staying at Cedar Ridge Cabins.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice overnight spot - Just spent one night here, with my son for an event nearby. We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was cute, clean, and comfortable. It was a chilly night and the heater brought the cabin to a comfortable temperature quickly (though it was kind of loud—if you like white noise, though, it might be your thing). Overall it was perfect for our purposes!
• Dovey (10/5): - My husband and I are at the end of a two week driving trip. The beds in this cabin were the most comfortable of our whole trip. It took a while for the little air conditioner to cool down the room, but once it did, it was quite nice. The decor was standard "cabin" style with a nice campfire area. I would stay here again and do recommend.

• Martie (6/5): Cozy cabin for glamping. - The owner texted us when the cabin was ready and left the key in the box since we checked in in the late evening It was freezing cold when we got there with all the windows open! We had figure out how to put on. It was much like a space heater in the wall that was very loud and went on and off all night. Beds were just a standard cheap mattress. Right next to the highway so car traffic was loud. If you’re looking for no frills glamping. This is it! We had running water, a TV, fridge, and a place to sleep. Nice for a night on adventure.

We got in at night so didnt see much of the property. In the morning we did a little walk around and wish we had time to stay longer.

My children enjoyed the game room and play house. You cannot park next to cabin, which is fine but it was little bit more challenging traveling alone with small children. It is close to a busy road but for us it was fine.

• Deschamps (10/5): So charming and comfortable!!! - We loved the extra thoughtful little touches that they add to make your stay more comfortable such as a room spray, nice hand soap in bathroom and body wash in shower. A basket with coffees, teas a bottle opener and some nice mugs. Even had a towel hanging at the picnic table to wipe off the morning dew on the outdoor furniture to enjoy your morning coffee outside! Beautiful towels and linens and the bed and pillows were super comfortable! I loved how many hooks there were on the walls, was so helpful for hanging our wet suits and towels from our days at the river and beach! Nothing everything was perfect!!

• Laura (10/5): Adorable cozy cabin for two - This was a great location for Sleeping Bear Dunes and Glen Arbor, away from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was clean and cozy.

Very noisy between traffic noise on busy road and businesses construction across road. Unable to sleep well based on noise. TV was very small, too far to see from bed and limited channels.

• Coleen (8/5): Enjoyable stay; look forward to returning! - It was a charming, quintessential Northern Michigan cabin. It was small, but very clean and well appointed. The price we paid for a Saturday night stay seemed a bit high, however, it was far below prices in nearby Frankfort and Traverse City. The owners communicated well and responded quickly. The parking is separate from the cabin and is tight and a bit awkward to maneuver.

• andrea (10/5): - I stayed in cabin 5. It was a quick solo trip for me last week of June. Perfect location. Cabin was small, but very clean and safe location. Check in was easy. Property has a common area with a fire pit. I was there 3 nights. Last night I sat in the fire pit area and had it all to myself. A cute little bunny was the only other living creature around. I recommend this property is it’s just one or two people as it is the size of a regular hotel room, more or less. I’m a clean freak, and the only bugs I saw were teeny tiny ants ( just a few). I was worried about spiders and earwigs. None!!!!!!! Overall nice, quiet place.

I think this was the perfect place to stay as someone who only needed somewhere to stay at night/shower and didn’t plan on spending too much time at the house. a microwave would have been nice, but I didnt mind eating cold pizza!
• Melissa (10/5): - The check in process was so easy and the property is great. There plenty to do if you want to spend a weekend hanging around the cabins. Staying one night was quiet and undisturbed. Will definitely go again!
• Kristin (10/5): - Clean and convenient. There was no hair dryer when we arrived but a text to the owners and that was fixed in no time. But check before you take a shower if you need a hair dryer!
• James (10/5): Simple pleasures await. - An absolute joy. The cute little cabins are clean and very well cared for. Our only issue with the room was the shower stall was a little small and the shower head was almost completely unscrewed from the pipe coming from the wall. The grounds were clean and neat. The small fire pit area was perfect. The game room is a nice touch. I hope to visit again.
• Shawn (9/5): Wonderful place and great location. - Location was great, close to many attractions and perfect for us. This place was great but the road noise from all the traffic could be better. However, it’s not bad.
• Allen (8/5): Place was clean and overall great - Everything we needed and very comfortable but we had issues with the heater and couldn't figure out how to get it working until the next morning.

• Michelle (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Ridge Cabins! The cabin was very clean, comfortable and easily accessible during our travels. We look forward to staying there again!
• Mary (8/5): Cozy and welcoming! - Very cozy. Decorated very nicely! Clean and comfortable! We would have liked a microwave. We aye out every meal and had lots of leftovers and would have liked to be a ble to warm them up. Otherwise everything was very nice. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary! We stayed in one of your cabins for our honeymoon!
• Ballard (9/5): Superb - We went to Papa J's our favorite place to eat breakfast. We have family in nearby town . Our bed was super comfortable will be back if yoou have openings also if we come up is is possiable to park our motorcycle in front of the cabin? When we were coming back from visiting family there was NO lights on from the road we went past it that would of been very helpful for us as it was very dark
• Heather (10/5): Nice cabins for reasonable price! - My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with these cabins. They were very clean and comfortable. We’ve already recommended them to some friends that are headed that way in a couple weeks.
• Jean (10/5): The cabin was very clean and nice cozy warm place. Very comfortable bed. Shower was very good. - No breakfast offered. Easy to find the cabin. Checking in and out is simple and fast. Not many restaurants around but it was not a problem for us. We ate in Empire, MI. Although the chairs in front of the TV were comfortable, it would be much nicer if they would recline.
