• arvin (6/5): I will never ever again book an room here because first there wasn’t any enough parking - The only thing I really like was the breakfast that was it I had a terrible experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The parking situation was a complete nightmare—there was nowhere near enough space for guests, and I had to waste a lot of time just trying to find a spot. It was incredibly frustrating and poorly managed. On top of that, the room was lacking basic necessities. There were no soaps provided, which is something you expect as a bare minimum when staying at any hotel. It made the whole stay feel cheap and neglected. The surrounding area was also very uncomfortable, with a noticeable homeless presence all around the property, which made me feel unsafe. Overall, the hotel is poorly maintained, badly organized, and far from what I expected. I was extremely disappointed with my stay and will definitely never return.

A fürdőben nem lehet hova pakolni, be kellett vinni a széket, iszonyú büdös a tusfürdő, szappan nem volt a mosdóhoz, WC fedél sem volt. A szobában csak a 2 kis lámpa volt, azaz sötét a szoba, a szemben lévő épületből simán belátni, ezért a rólót be kellett sötétíteni, függöny nincs.

• Elena (1/5): Not recommended - No They parked a car in a space next to the disabled parking area. According to the rules for disabled parking, no one should occupy this space, as it is necessary for a disabled person to exit the car. Our children are BMI disabled. The staff reacted strangely to our complaint. They said there was nothing wrong with it and that we could exit on the other side. They called the owner of that car, but they didn't answer. We initially filed a complaint, but the manager came out and started making a complaint to us that we were not satisfied. Our rights as people with disabilities were violated. I will sue this hotel! Extremely rude and unprofessional staff! Disgusting hotel. I do not recommend it.

• Niklas (8/5): Overall, needed a room for one night near Oracle Park and this did the trick. Not too expensive and in a great location - I loved the private parking for guests and the cheap price of my stay. Plus for San Francisco, great deal in a decent part of town. The noise. The walls are thin and so you can hear the cars and motorcycles from the street as if they were in your hotel room. Took me some time to fall asleep because of the noise.

• Erika (8/5): - Le personnel y est très accueillant et aimable. La chambre est propre et bien équipée et le petit déjeuner est correct. Parking petit mais gratuit. Le quartier est difficile mais nous y avons rencontrés aucun soucis en le traversant à pieds, il suffit de ne pas y prêter attention aux gens qui déambule dans la rue.

• Daniel (8/5): Promethium experience. - Parking is complicated, the number of spots is insufficient on surface and inside the garage, which is difficult to accede, there is unutilized space in the corner, which is outside the hotel security area to park there. The architect that creates that building waste space for nothing, the area for breakfast is very small. Price, room cleanness, Location is good. It is near, one block apart of local bus transportation. We didn't find good restaurants nearby. Breakfast could be better.

• raymondgonzales1978 (10/5): Best Western Red Coach Inn - A Rare San Francisco Find With Free Parking - San Francisco is an expensive city, so finding something affordable can feel like a challenge, especially when free parking is involved. This hotel feels like a small miracle the moment you realize you are not circling the block or paying overnight garage fees. Red Coach Inn truly feels like an oasis in the middle of the city. And yes, it has free parking, which is worth repeating because it matters that much. The rooms are clean and modern, and when I stayed in December 2025, they felt recently renovated and well maintained. The WiFi was fast enough for Zoom calls without any issues, which is always a non negotiable for me. The area is fine and well connected, with plenty of public transportation options nearby that make getting around easy. It checks all the boxes without trying too hard. Overall, the hotel is affordable, clean, and delivers everything I expect from a Best Western, including solid customer service.

Room is new, clean and comfortable, breakfast is very good! Install a clear big indication sign for parking entrance is recommended since the location is complicated and easily to be missed. Driver needs to drive a long way to return back to the location.

• Karyn (5/5): - I chose this hotel for the location, was closed to an event we were attending at the Fillmore. Nearby was Japantown, Academy of science, museums, gardens. Hotel has parking. The breakfast was good. Has protein of sausage links and eggs. Has a waffle maker for waffles. Yogurt, pastry, cereal and boiled eggs. Milk and juices. The shower only had warm water. Water didn't get hot enough. It's winter, raining and cold outside. Came in from the rain expecting a hot shower and instead got warm water. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Room has AC/Heat. The building is old. The room needs some updates. Bathroom has paint peeling off. No microwave.

• Alexey (1/5): - The room is clean, everything is fine. Music played all night. I went to sort it out three times, but the staff only turned it off on the third try. But the music continued after a while. It was terrible. Rude guys were partying all night, and the staff couldn't calm them down. And there was screaming in the next room. Basically, if you want to save your nerves, find a good hotel without trash.

• Thomas (7/5): Verbesserung Möglichkeiten - Die Ausstattung war okay. Gratis Parkmöglichkeit mit Garage und Personall war freundlich. Wir waren für 5 Tage im Hotel, dass Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt bis auf abfallen leeren und das Bett halbwegs aufgeräumt. Badezimmer wurde nicht gereinigt und mit 3 Personen müsste man das mindestens 1x reinigen. Das Frühstückes Zimmer ist sehr klein am Wochenende mussten wir bis 20 min warten das ein Tisch frei wurde. Und frühstück geht nur von 7-9 Uhr sehr kurz wen viele Gäste da sind.

We did a lot of walking and nothing happened but it did make us a little uneasy. And another upside was free parking which is hard to come by in the city.

• Raphael (8/5): Gute und günstige Übernachtung und dabei recht zentral - Das Hotel ist älter aber wird gepflegt und wurde auch renoviert, Preis Leistung ist echt super. Frühstück ebenfalls tip top wie man es vom Best Western kennt. Parkplatz kostenlos ist bei der Lage schon bemerkenswert. Die Nachbarschaft ist nicht unbedingt die sauberste und es ist viel Armut zu sehen. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche müsste mal überprüft werden, es kommt nicht viel wasser raus.

When I provided those numbers she could find them so she told me to figured it out with booking cause when customers booked through a third party there is nothing they can’t do.and on top of that they were sold out for that night . So when I called booking customer services it didn’t get any better the rep girl was not helpful at all she was just not listening to me it’s seems she was even getting upset with me for asking question regarding to what had happened to my reservation. I ended getting a room somewhere else my self. So now I have to call you Guys again make sure I didn’t get charge for the 27-28. And hoping this time customer service rep is having a good day

• Leslie (10/5): - It’s in the tenderloin neighborhood which is in the process of cleanup. There are homeless around during the night. Police move them out in the morning. We felt very safe which our car and all around the hotel. The hotel was recently renovated. Friendly staff. We would stay there again

• Laura (8/5): - Das Hotel hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, modern und gemütlich eingerichtet – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, immer mit einem Lächeln da. Das Frühstück ist zwar eher klein, aber qualitativ wirklich gut und völlig ausreichend – „klein, aber fein“ trifft es perfekt. Am Hotel selbst gibt es absolut nichts auszusetzen. Einziger Minuspunkt ist die Lage: Abends wirkt die Umgebung nicht ganz so sicher, da viele Obdachlose in der Nähe sind. Wer aber hauptsächlich Wert auf ein tolles Hotel mit super Service legt, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.
