- Sanjiv (10/5): - Every thing was perfect and excellent Location , accomodation facility , staff
- Claire (10/5): - Lovely clean and spacious well looked after.
- john (7/5): Wear shoes inside because the carpets are disgusting! - The location was brilliant and the space we had was great for the amount of is. The house was FILTHY!! I had to pay a £95 cleaning fee that i wasn’t made aware of at the time of booking. I was only told I had to pay it the day before we arrived. I even paid an extra £50 so I could get in the property an hour and a half earlier than check in. I was told this was available as they had got an extra cleaner in, this clearly wasn’t the case as it was so dirty.
- Belinda (10/5): Perfect for a stay in Belfast. - Plenty of room to sit and eat together
Great communication from host
Easy to get to local shop
Leisure centre across the road
- Ashley (7/5): - Clean and big. The property was a bit rough around the edges compared to the photos. Could do with a lick of paint and sprucing up in places as obviously been general wear and tear since those photos were taken. But was clean enough and fine for a base to explore Belfast. Although we wouldn’t stay in this area again if we came back. Would also have been nice to have a small carton of milk in fridge for arriving, we had a late flight and by the time we got to the property there were no shops open to buy anything so had to wait until they opened in the morning to be able to make a hot drink. Also think £350 deposit is a bit steep, i get you have to take one but sure around £100 would be sufficient and this should also be made more clear on booking as I was unaware of this charge until it was asked for a few days before arrival.

- Odhran (10/5): Spacious, modern townhouse in east Belfast - Clean and modern, great location in east Belfast, plenty of space and generous room sizes. Parking over the weekend wasn’t too bad Can’t fault the property really
- Moothoo (10/5): -
- Colette (7/5): Really good time good location - Brilliant size all 10 of us could stay together Some finishing on property could have been improved overall clean tidy nice place to stay
- Eoin (10/5): -
- Scott (7/5): Really good thanks. - Clean. Plenty of beds. Bit short on Toilet rolls.
- Lidia (8/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): - Was lovely and clean and spacious
- Harry (8/5): A perfectly lovely house for a group to stay in for a short trip to Belfast. - Good communal spaces, including a space for a group meal and some more informal spaces in the front room and outside.
Beds were plentiful and comfy. All rooms were clean, all facilities working properly and well. Plenty of loo roll and shower toiletries provided. Not a problem for us at all, but East Belfast is very, very loyalist. The surrounding streets and businesses are covered in Union Flags and related murals.
The property, whilst clean and fully functional, does need a bit of TLC with some cracks and peeling paint - but this is expected of any house! Nothing out of the ordinary.
- diane (10/5): Lovely - Lovely and lots of room. Clean and near to the centre. 10am checkout a little early.
- emmalene (9/5): Great house to stay in with friends. - Lots of space, lovely rooms with choice of double and single beds. 25 minute walk into the city. Would have been good to know you get the access code sent through at midday.
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natasha (10/5): Great stay i would definitely recommend! -
- David (10/5): Perfect base for a large group - Perfect base of operations to explore Belfast. All the taxi drivers knew exactly where to go and Jordana the host was incredibly helpful and responsive when we were booking. Beds were comfy, and all other facilities were exactly as described and expected. Would recommend. The shower filled up with water when we had longer showers - but nothing that can’t be fixed.
- Emma (4/5): I was disappointed on entering and felt it could have been of a better standard. - Lots of bedrooms to accommodate a lot of people. It was quite run down and quite dirty in some places. It needs some attention to bring it up to a better standard.
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (10/5): Great house in a convenient location, really well equipped and great value for a large group - Hosts were really quick to answer any questions we had before arrival and so easy to use. Door code was sent on the arrival day and made it really simple. House was really nice, accommodated our group perfectly and toiletries/dishwasher tablets etc being provided was fantastic - meant we could travel light. Location perfect with bus stop and shops/fast food places within a 10min walk - smaller supermarket closer that that. House well equipped and had everything we needed.
Security deposit held and returned within 24hrs of departure. Nothing we disliked - the only things we could possibly suggest were additional towels/pillows being available and a baking tray in the kitchen but that's really all we could comment on.
- Tom (8/5): A very nice, modern and large guesthouse. - Very clean, spacious and homely. Perfect for large groups. Comfortable beds too. Check out time isn’t good for the price you pay. Have to be up and out early doors at 10am. 11am would have been better.
- Hallmark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annmarie (8/5): We had a lovely stay. The house had everything we needed and was lovely and warm and cosy. - It was lovely and warm. The beds were really comfortable. No microwave or dishwasher
- Caroline (9/5): Superb - It was a great for a large group. Lovely clean kitchen with spotless crockery and cutlery. We enjoyed being able to sit and chat in the comfy sitting room. All bedrooms are spacious with double beds. Bedding and towels were spotless. Heating was on evening and morning. I'd really recommend The Residence as it's a Home from Home. We would have liked complimentary tea, milk and water. As we love our coffee a coffee machine with complimentary pods would have been fab rather than granules. Also one of the photos online was of champagne so we thought there might be a bottle or two awaiting our arrival. As the property is not central we had to order two Taxi's for our group and so ended up paying an extra €150 for our one day visit to Belfast.
- Olatunji (9/5): Superb -
- Janie (6/5): Pleasant enough. - Large enough for our group Minimal toilet roll and no shampoo in one of the bathrooms.
5 of us stayed and plenty of instant coffee and sugar available but not enough tea bags for everyone to have a cuppa. It would have been nice to have a small milk in the fridge.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location. Plenty of space and clean, comfortable rooms. Nice and warm throughout the house. I didn't like the 10am checkout. I think considering the price of the place they could at least put checkout at 11am.
Also a dishwasher would be a great addition.
- Erin (9/5): Superb -
- Rosie (10/5): Staff are lovely and helpful and the house was exactly what was advertised - Spacious and clean
Lovely and warm Liked everything
- Tom (10/5): Lovely apartment only a short bus journey into the center of Belfast - Large property with enough beds to accommodate 8 people without having to share Nothing
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Niamh (9/5): Superb -
- Mandy (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Good location and communication from host. - Rooms were spacious and clean. Well equipt kitchen, nice dining area. Maybe king size or zip and link beds would be better for our group of 14 women.
- Rachel (10/5): Amazing weekend! - The house was lovely and just for what we was looking for.
- Pepper (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- Courtney (8/5): Very good -
- Branndon (10/5): The property was great value for money, you get what you pay for. Excellent location, comfortable beds and and overall g - The property was amazing and in an excellent location. The beds were some of the comfiest I’ve slept in. There’s not much I could say I didn’t like, it was pretty perfect.
- Freddy (7/5): we all enjoyed our stay and wanted for nothing - good clean and functional, we all enjoyed our stay
- Owen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roberto (10/5): Exceptional - 30 min walking to Titanic area and city center.
Clean
- Gisselle (5/5): Passable - I like the property I had a phone call from the owner about a noise complaint and I was told they have noise detectors we were just having a chat no music felt like I was being watched
- Sean (9/5): Good location and nice accommodation - Property was easy to find and enter with the code provided. Inside there was plenty of room, it is nicely decorated and a comfortable place to stay. Everywhere was clean and tidy
- Adele (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely group house, very spacious rooms, nice and clean. Check in easy as sent email with door code. Would definitely reccomend.
- Craig (9/5): Superb -
- Marie (9/5): It was a lovely weekend with family and this accommodation made it all the more better - Property was spacious and comfortable for us all . It was in a good location for us in Belfast. It was clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. The kitchen was small for the amount of us but cosy. Also, had a dining room off the kitchen which made up for this.
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean and everything you needed available.lovely welcome basket. Nothing
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chloe (5/5): Passable -
- Mark (8/5): Lovely place, great location, nearby amenities! - Plenty of space! Great location for trips into city centre etc! Height of some of the doors
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - The house is brilliant and really well kept. The location was excellent!
- Angela (9/5): Superb -
- Gillian (10/5): Super property - Absolutely fabulous communication with property, ideal for 2 young families.. house was fully equipped, warm and central for all activities
- Puteri (10/5): Splendid! - Very clean, spacious. Comfortable beds and clean toilets which were a plus points for us. Definitely will consider staying again in the future. The only thing that was a concern were the bars on the stair railings, they were a bit far apart. It made us a little cautious about our 2 year old being able to fit in between the bars, especially on the higher floors. Maybe could consider adding a mesh or extra bars in between? Just for safety purposes.
- Jonathan (9/5): Perfect place for a large family and would be happy to return. - Great location in Belfast. Easy access to the main roads. House was well furnished and heating worked well. Nice space for our large family. Place was spotlessly clean and we really enjoyed our 3 nights there.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (9/5): Great place for a big group or a family or two. - It was clean, lots of space, both in bedrooms and kitchen/living room. We only stayed one night, so only really slept and showered there before heading onwards on our journey. Great place for big group or a family or two.
- Jennifer (8/5): Clean spacious entire home in the heart of Belfast - Great location. Clean. Plenty of room. Staff left a basket of food in kitchen. Street parking. Had to walk a ways to find available space on the street.
- Dominic (9/5): Superb -
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - Was a brilliant house in a great location.
- Tanya (10/5): Comfortable - Space Nothing
- Neil (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Perfect property and location, and very convenient to the airport - Host is on site so it was very easy, and she was very nice and accommodating. They need a coffee maker or French Press
- Gillian (7/5): Business trip with work colleagues - Convenience N/a
- Nishita (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff & best place to stay in belfast city as everything was just a bus ride away or 15-20 mins walk.
Great place for a family vacation.
- Declan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chikezie (9/5): Great experience - We enjoyed and found The Residence a great place to be for group booking of short holiday accommodation and access to the city centre. Everything is fabulous despite the recommendations for improvement below. The supply of toilet rolls could be matched to the number of occupants and days of stay. Also, provision of extra cooking pot for group booking.
- Tony (10/5): Handy location and good value. - Great location and really easy to deal with the owner. There are a fair amount of stairs to get to bedrooms but if that’s not an issue for you this place is a great pick. Nothing.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Lyndsey (8/5): Very good - Nice rooms with a lot of windows for good air flow In a Little bit of a run down area
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (3/5): Nice house, location inconvenient. Staff accusations and taking deposit ruined it. Avoid. - Nice house, comfortable and had everything needed for a family gathering allowing us to be independent and do things individually. Traffic is so loud outside that it woke us all up with what sounded like lorries whizzing past as windows open due to hot weather. Digital kettle was annoying, hob annoying too as both took ages to figure out then hob didn't heat as good as expected. Mirror in bedroom so high above fireplace that you can't use it so couldn't straighten hair in bedroom. Located a bit out of the way from centre, about 40 minutes walk. Tiring after a day of sightseeing or busy socialising and being in pubs. Taxis in Belfast are horrendous and buses were all redirected so walking might be the only option.
Staff were extremely rude from before we even arrived. Ages provided before our stay, yet staff left a voicemail saying they "don't allow anyone under 25". This worried us as we had paid the full amount and an 18 year old was staying with her Mother and cousins. Property information contradicted saying children were welcome.
The Argentinian woman was not very friendly or welcoming to the rest of the group who arrived shortly before me.
Check out states 11am on the kitchen sign yet a male turned up and let himself in at 10am, I had to show him the sign that said 11am.
After we left and were at the airport, I had a lengthy argument with the Argentinian woman (Ruth?) who suddenly said we had damaged her floor and she would need to replace the whole dining area flooring. I contested this as none of our party had spilt any mess, we had barely been in the apartment except to sleep. The place was left clean and very tidy. No inventory or "before" photos/wear and tear was highlighted to us as being acknowledged prior to our stay yet we noticed holes in doors, grubby marks on walls, a broken freezer door and what looked like lipstick on bedding. I took photos of these on arrival.
The woman sent me photos of the flooring she was accusing us of damaging.
- Frances (8/5): Great stay with friends - The bedrooms were all very nice and the dining room was good. nothing
- Bryan (8/5): Excellent stay and would definitely recommend. - Good communication before stay. Easy to access property. Property exactly as advertised and expected. Very comfortable for a group of 8 friends. I assume it was an oversight but there were no tea towels in the kitchen. Would have dried up and put away everything if there had been.
- Michael (10/5): A really nice property, very clean and spacious. - Everything. No complaints
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bevin (10/5): we had a lovely stay and the property was excellent all round, lovely modern house, well maintained and well stocked. wo - the property was in excellent condition and well stocked. nothing
- Aileen (9/5): Great stay, saw lots of tourist attractions. A great base for a trip to Belfast - So many bedrooms, great to have 2 families in the one house. Lots of space Nothing to dislike
- Tiarnach (10/5): Exceptional - How clean the house was and the amount of space there was.
- Harjinder (8/5): Very good -
- Danielle (8/5): Great value for money - That we were afforded a much earlier check in The toaster didn’t work and there were only two single beds.
- R (7/5): The house is beautiful, warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated. There were great transport links close by, unfortunat - modern, spacious, clean and cosy the lack of utensils in the kitchen- for a large house for large groups, there were no large serving spoons. We were also surprised there was no “welcome” package, e.g the sugar ran out on day 1. it would of been good if there was some info about the Local area, there was a few leaflets about tours but not a variety, and also info of how to use the cooler would of been helpful.
I was alerted about the noise being too loud which seemed extreme, given the amount of people in our group and a small child, felt a bit intrusive, especially as we were sat having dinner.
there was also a strange smell from the first floor bathroom, and the bins in the bedroom had not been emptied before we stayed.
- Davies (8/5): a great getaway. - loved the space for a group. enough for our group of 6. plenty of plates, cups , glasses. tea coffee sugar + milk and biscuits. really good. minor hiccup with heating and hot water, however owner sorted immediately.
- Laura (9/5): Superb - Only stayed for one night it was a lovely comfortable house woth everything you could need.
- Anonymous (10/5): great location, clean , well equipped, everything we needed in the house. - very spacious, well equipped, most comfortable beds ! Could of been a bit warmer .
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
