- sabine (7/5): Dieses Hotel nicht mehr - Zentrale Lage, für kurzen Aufenthalt ausreichend großes Zimmer, sehr sauber. Kleines sehr gutes Frühstück, Rührei wurde frisch zubereitet. Saft war leer und wurde leider in unseren zwei Tagen auch nicht nachgefüllt. Bis 21.00h abends, sollte es nach Aussage, an der Theke verschiedene Getränke geben, um 20.40h bekamen wir dann doch nichts mehr. Empfang war kühl, die junge Dame nicht sehr bemüht. Das BB ist mit dem Auto nicht erreichbar, ca. 350m Fußweg-für uns leider noch im strömenden Regen mit Koffer. Sie wusste keine Parkmöglichkeiten war auch nicht bemüht uns zu helfen, unser vorab ausgesuchter Platz war gesperrt. Mein Mann suchte in der Umgebung-schwierig- fuhr dann für 40€ /24h ins Parkhaus. Ich konnte die etwas nassen Koffer nicht auf unser Zimmer bringen da mein Ausweis alleine der jungen Dame nicht genügte obwohl das Zimmer schon bezahlt war. Sie kümmerte sich lieber um Ihr Handy und die roten Fingernägel. Schade, das sind wir in den kleinen Hotels in Ljubljana nicht gewohnt.

I heard a lot of noises starting from 6:30AM. The hairdryer in the room has problem. It ran only 15 seconds and it would stop due to overheating. Needed to wait for about 10 minutes to run another 15 seconds

- Caroline (9/5): Lovely place to stay in old Ljubljana - Great location near castle, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, quiet side street. Nice breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Bathroom had clear glass walls which was odd and afforded not much privacy, but there were curtains. Only one pillow each, and no kettle - seems to be the norm in Slovenia.

It was difficult to find using Apple Maps but Google maps worked just fine. Because it’s location it’s secluded in a backstreet area so the patient trying to find it. The staff was excellent, my compliments in particular to Alan. He was so helpful for me. The room is very modern with a lot of modern technology and it takes a little while to figure out. I had the top floor room facing away from the castle. I experienced only one problem. On a Saturday night, there was a very loud noisy party below me in the adjacent apartment parking area. It kept me up until I just closed all the doors and covered my head with a pillow, but every other night it was extremely quiet and pleasant. What really surprised me was the excellent breakfast which included your choice of eggs including omelettes.

- Michèle (10/5): A great hotel with a human dimension in the heart of Ljubljana - This is a gem of a hotel. I had to change hotels for one night, which makes me nervous. But I found a great place to stay for future trips to Ljubljana. The artistic tone makes it unique. The room is very comfortable, clean, luminous, great bed, bathroom, etc. including international channels. There is a lift which is a big plus. The breakfast is huge. The personnnel is very friendly, welcoming. I left my luggage for a few hours between hotels until check-in. You can go all around Ljubljana by foot and it is quiet. I can only recommend. There could be a kettle in the room as there is coffee and tea. I should have asked for it in fact. The coffee in the morning is between filter and americano. Capuccino could be included in the breaksfat. But those are very tiny details.

- Tracy (9/5): Loved my stay at this little gem of a hotel. I'd return in a heartbeat. Ljubljana is beautiful. - Quiet little square so no traffic noise. Tasty breakfast with eggs cooked how u like. A/C & heating easy to control. Map & leaflets on places to visit at reception. Key card for room access & hotel access after 9pm with added physical lock on bedroom door for extra security. Great Thai street food & pizza nearby. My suite in the roofspace had a lovely castle view, and I could turn the TV round to watch it either from sofa or in bed. Plenty of plug sockets. English breakfast teabags needed (only Earl Grey was available) in dining & bedroom. Shower cap needed. Handle to hold onto when turning & somewhere to set your toiletries needed in shower. Extra plug socket needed on desk/table for kettle.
