Raymond (1/5): - The area was scary and sketchy. No real lobby to speak of and its in a very unsafe location. I pulled into the lot and shortly thereafter, left to find a different hotel. People loitering and the front desk was behind glass. So that was a huge NO. I didn't feel safe and would not leave my car outside either, especially if there is anything in it.

Isabel (8/5): - The rooms were good for the price. The staff was friendly and helped correct a problem. One of the rooms smelled badly of cigarette smoke. We went to inform the gentleman upfront and he moved us promptly. The one thing that upset us, is that they had a sign saying they had complimentary breakfast and they did not. If we would have know this we would have purchased something for our two toddlers the night before. They like to eat as soon as they wake-up.
Denise Marilyn (10/5): Incredible value for your Money-CLEAN and quiet! - I fly back and forth between Texas and Florida, a lot! This is a hidden gem. It isn't plush or fancy, no room service.... But the nicest family runs it and they care. I returned because of the clean wooden floors, the room was spotless, and the microwave /refrigerator are handy. The owner knows me and remembers me after several months. They work hard and care about their clients. That is nice these days.

He was very excellent very comfortable. People were very nice at check in was very helpful. I would recommend to stay in this hotel again because it was a nice hotel.

I have was impressed when on my second trip back they asked if I would like the same rooms. And now I add a note to the reservation asking for my room. If they can do and most of the time they can do it. 100% of the time I can sleep knowing everything is clean with no surprises,no distractions and wonderful hot water with great pressure!!!

Luckily we had friend close by nice enough to let us borrow theirs. When I called the front seat the person on duty told me “I am not sure if the room is supposed to have that, I will ask my manager when they come in around 7-8pm they will call you” we checked in at 4pm. We never received a call or the items “missing” Also one of the knobs on the stove was missing, the guy working at the time was nice enough to fix it. The room was decent. There was no “do not disturb” sign so room service did knock every time.

Room was clean and bed was so very comfortable! Toiletries were included, but modest so bring your own. Only complaints: you can hear your neighbors every step/move and people in and out of parking lots/stairs all hours of the night. The breakfast was not good... watered down coffee, vending machine snacks, and warm OJ in the 'fridge'. Did not even try the waffles.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. This is however an older hotel. The only issue I encountered here was that they would not accept my military ID as a form of identification for the room which I've never had happen to me as it's a federal ID. Overall a decent stay though.

Andrew (6/5): Not what I thought it would be - It was a rundown motel, in a shady area, and very far from freeways. We checked in late and our room was very smoky for non-smoking room. Woke up around 6am to heavy smoke and cigarettes which kept us up from coughing. Turned out that they had the cigarettes waste in front of our room so people are hanging out there to smoke. I asked for another room where no ashtray in front downstairs but the next three nights we had to deal with people above us stamping around all nights. Beds are comfy but pillows are too soft. Shower and WIFI are weak. Breakfast and coffee were a joke. Only good thing was the front desk very helpful and accommodating.

We received a hotel discount voucher from our inbound airline and accepted a 58.00 rate at America’s Beat Value. I must say that this is a very, VERY, basic hotel. It offered a safe place to stay, with a solid mattress. There is no lavish, no bells or whistles, no comfy homey feel. I was taken aback that the clerk talked to us behind a glass/polyurethane window. I’d never seen this at a hotel before. The shower was nice and hot with soft water. The bed sheets were surpassingly pink (I’d never had colored sheets at a hotel), they to were of good cotton quality. The room is not hip or up to date, but then again we arrived close to midnight and were only there for a quick 8 hours of sleep.
Sam (10/5): Impressive - Been traveling for work for 20 years...and this was just the fifth or sixth time that I called the front desk upon entering the room to tell the folks how impressed I was. This place is at least a ‘star’ better than it is priced. Lacking in nothing.

warrenl635 (10/5): great place for USMLE Step 2 CS medical boards - I stayed here to take my USMLE Step 2 CS medical boards in Houston Texas, and I enjoyed my stay. The place has good energy. It is bright, sunny, clean, safe, and the interiors of the rooms are new. The family which runs the hotel are very nice and helpful. I left my laptop in my room by mistake. They found it, let me know, and went out of their way to ship it to me, and made sure I got it back. The place is decorated with elephant statues, and there is a little fountain in the front. I stayed on the top floor in the corner, which is a good spot. The area is very safe, and there are lots of good taco places nearby and across the street. Very reasonable price. Recommend.
