Staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Good communication before and during the stay (including arranging airport pickup ). The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of breakfast and even heavier foods.

The staff were very friendly and helpful!!!They let us have a late checkout. The lobby and especially the carpeting seemed dated. The carpeting either needed to be cleaned or replaced. Breakfast left a lot to be desired.

Big positive is staff, so nice and friendly. Thank you. Tea options at breakfast. No dairy free milk options or gluten-free cereals. Dinner meal deals or options better advertised to keep people at resort for dinner. Music or Nye event to draw people to resort. Advertise early to stop guests looking elsewhere.

Alt personale var/er supersøde og hjælpsomme Værelset var i virkelig dårlig stand, gardiner hang, beskidt tæppe. Puder som trængte til rengøring. Morgenkåbe med cigaretmærke i, alt linned og håndklæder bar præg af at være gammelt og slidt samt manglede der i den grad vedligeholdelse på værelse og gang arealer. Absolut ikke 4 stjerner værdigt

On the day of our departure we were at security and my son realised he had left his computer in our hotel room. The airport staff rang The Cove and the computer was delivered to the airport, free of charge!!Amazing service and we were very grateful hr got his computer back (thank goodness the airport is small as otherwise it may have been very difficult) So thank you so much!! The accommodation was a little tired and the food a bit average. However the pool was lovely, as were the staff so it made up for that.

- Gregory (8/5): Solid stay in Palau - The location was great - a bit out of Koror but close to restaurants and marinas. The room was spacious. The staff were amazing- everyone went out of their way to be friendly and kind. Very clean Biggest negative was the breakfast. Very limited (they had no eggs one day), only rock melons for fruit (guys, put out some bananas or other local fruit). Almost no bread or pastry (after the first day we went to the market to supplement what they offered - great local banana bread). It was pretty poor, but good coffee. This needs to be addressed

- Nick (9/5): Some issues during check-in, but a great stay after that. Helpful staff and a great experience. - I really liked how attentive the front desk staff was to our needs. It was disheartening to have to move rooms twice, but they did their best to make the situation right. They then offered to pay for our airport transportation to make up for the inconvenience, so that was a nice gesture. They also helped us book a rental car which was much appreciated. When we checked in and went to our room, there was a weird buzzing sound coming from the overhead lights (bulb probably needed changing). When we informed the staff they told us they'd move us to a new room. When we got into the new room, we quickly found out the air conditioning wasn't cold. Given it was 90 degrees and very humid, this was a necessity. They first told us to wait until someone came to look at it, but I realized it was unlikely they could fix it (this was around 7PM). I went to the front desk to ask and they said they were already looking into getting us a different room. We were able to move right next door and that AC was fine. The breakfast buffet would run out of food or not have many options. Granted, it was off season so the hotel wasn't very full. Maybe that's why?

- Eric (6/5): Quick stay while waiting for plane was nice but could have been much better for the pricing - Staff was friendly and professional. Location was great and close to the marina. Pool was nice. For the pricing, I expect better conditions. Room was clean but contained ants. Poolside room was exposed to loud beats of base heavy music until 9 pm. Power cut out briefly several times in one afternnoon. Restaurant was out of many items.

They charged 30% of the room rate for 3pm check out instead of noon. Thought that was a little expensive especially since the hotel was not full at all. Break fast had plenty of protein and omelettes made to order. Charged to much for late check out.

- Donna (10/5): It was lovely. I wish I had been able to stay longer. - I was just at the Cove for a "day room" . I disembarked from the Palau Aggressor at 8 am and left for the airport at 11 pm. There was no elevator so I left my heavy scuba gear bags in the lobby. I had to go up and down doing a little be of re-packing, but it all worked out in the end.

Lobby and dining floor in a bad state if repair with tiles lifting in all areas pool tiles missing also. Carpets worn out.

- Tony (10/5): Cove Resort makes you feel at home. - From the moment I booked, the reservations team excelled, from arranging transfers and late check out, Kath even knew what time I needed to be at the airport for my return flight. Once I arrived was made feel a valued customer, always cheerful and asking if there is anything else I needed. Room was lovely, comfortable bed with a great view.

The rooms were comfortable and clean with cold air conditioning. The grounds were beautiful. It’s near the drop off restaurant/bar. The hotel manager, Kazuo Osada, was friendly, helpful and accommodating when I asked for assistance.

The carpet needs to be replaced as soon as possible to give guests a better first impression and that you are keeping up with repairs

- Elizabeth (8/5): Beautiful resort on Malakal Island - I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Cove Resort, and I must say, it was a lovely experience. From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. As a fitness buff, I was a bit disappointed in the gym. It would be helpful to add wifi and an elliptical that works. When I arrived, the treadmills were missing; however, a brand new one was added mid-week. There is no beach access at The Cove, but the pool is lovely and Sam's Tours is a quick walk away.

- Jerry (10/5): Superb! - Spent three weeks here in November while doing a bunch of snorkeling and kayaking. The Cove is ideally located for these activities and a wonderful place to stay. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Breakfast buffet is probably the best I’ve ever experienced! Love the room, very comfortable bed and great rain shower head. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone visiting Palau.

- Rachel (8/5): Reservation didn’t work - I had my guaranteed reservation, the hotel said it was cancelled by Expedia, it still showed as active on my hotels.com account. The hotel couldn’t find it even with the reservation number, so I had to rebook at the counter for another room at a higher cost. Hopefully I don’t get charged twice, but I’m not convinced I won’t be.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great time with the family - Our family of four stayed in two connecting rooms (door between rooms) at the Cove Resort on our recent trip to Palau. It was a great experience overall. The rooms were clean, big, and cozy, overlooking the pool. All staff members were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great. The restaurant generally was good and pretty reasonably priced for lunch and dinner. Our kids loved the huge pool. It's located on a marina, so boat tours could easily pick us up right there. There is a convenience store a block down the road and a laundromat a block up the road (if you need either). Honestly, I have no complaints. It was a great visit and we're already planning to return.
