- Raj (5/5): This is a good place for a couple but not for the family with kids. - The greenery and flowers. We booked 2 family rooms, the property have only 2 family rooms and they are not the same size, the one we used to stay was very small space but we paid same the other bigger one. The toilet doors were really very weird- hard to slide a heavy wooden plank. There is no option of braai anywhere in the property.

The TV stations are severely limited/not working amd wifi was too bad to hold an online meeting or download a movie to watch (no movie channels) And these are not even real issues 😊

Rooms on the road side were a little noisy wgen people were moving around. The town is very quiet so this was only from guests walking outside

I ordered a toasted chicken and mayo sandwich, it took an hour. I stayed in room number 4. The room was dark and dingy.

- Madlener (9/5): Superb - Classic laid-back well maintained stylish country hotel Very accomodating very friendly Runners treated as heroes Pasta dinner the night before Specials on beer buckets Check out postponed by hotel to have a shower and a nap before driving back after the race Fouriesburg the little quaint town set back in history is worth a visit as such, from the dinosaur foot print to the highest vineyards in SA to hiking trails in magnificant scenario, so much to do and see I promptly booked a weekend in this facility later in the year As I booked late, (2 days before the event) I happen to be accommodated in their last room available (at a reduced price I have to admit) which had minimal natural light and was situated next to the hotel patio which was lively at times

The room and furniture were very old and in need of renovation. The carpet was not clean, and there was a generally unpleasant smell. The room was also very dark, and we didn’t feel comfortable spending time inside. While we would visit the area again, we would choose a different accommodation.

Rooms were comfortable - very much needed a vacuuming under curtains though ;-) Too little staff. The staff we did have help were wonderful, but it was very slow or we had to go and look for waiters. Also on the first night I had to show the waiter how to open a bottle of wine as he had not been trained.

- Gerhardi (6/5): Pleasant - Cute and cozy for an overnight stay. Place is tastefully decorated. We would have loved to give a higher score but the soundproofing and comments below -negative reasons- made the sleepover a bad experience. The soundproofing was horrible and the bed extremely hard. We honestly woke up every few hours as the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. We travel a lot and this was not a pleasant sleep. BUT the worst part is the soundproofing. We heard every single sound and conversation from people next door, reception and people walking past. Not only is ther ea huge gap below the foor letting in light and sound, the fact that we heard every conversation in reception and people outside was horrible including roosters at 4am. The staff sat at the table sright outside iur door at 6am chatting loudly, laughting and jokingly sounded like shouting at each other. Until we asked them to move but still heard them talking. From 6:30 every guest chevking out was heard and every conversation. Sorry but the point of a hotel/guest lodge etc is to have a comfortable bed, hot water and good nights rest. 2 of the 3 was lacking. Would have loved to visit again or recommend but not being able to sleep defies the point.
- Reabetsoe (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was awesome, every single one of them from the receptionist to the cleaners and waitresses, particularly Happy who lived up to his name and ensured we are as comfortable as possible. The food is horrible, suffered a food poisoning that lasted throughout my stay. I also didn't like how the staff is being treated by the owner who is not exactly friendly.

- Heleen (8/5): Beautiful venue, perfect location, value for money. - Neat, clean rooms. Clean, fresh linnen & towels. Fresh milk available in the rooms fridge for coffee was a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, good food at the restaurant and superb cocktails from the pub. The shower cubicle was a bit small and too many shower holders - foot stand, 2 x soap dishes - maybe just one holder for soap & shampoo will be sufficient and free up some space.
