- Nathalie (10/5): Fabulous home for an extended stay near the beach. - The house is very spacious equipped with loads of amenities, from beach towels to a cooler box, washing machine, tumble dryer and the kitchen is filled with a smorgasbord of crockery and utensils. The location is fantastic and is in short walk to the beach and shops. The ocean can be seen from the balcony which is such a bonus. Everything is a little old and lived in but it's not a dealbreaker. The rate charged is fair and the service was excellent so it's really not a reason to complain.

- Sarah (10/5): Breathtaking, beautiful, stunning, comfortable and clean. - Absolutely breathtaking from the moment we walked through the front door. I love art, and everywhere I looked from the front porch to every room I was taken back by the stunning art pieces. Ruby Sands was so clean and well equipped with all your needs. The kitchen had all the electronics you would ever need (including an ice making machine!) The two bathrooms had all the travel soaps and vanity toiletries you would ever need in abundance. Clean linen and towels were provided and changed regularly. Lyndie, Sergio, and Tinashe were the BEST hosts one could ever wish for, they cared that your stay was as comfortable as being at home. Basically they make sure you feel at home. HOME AWAY FROM HOME And finally, try waking up at sunrise and sit outside in the veranda and watch the sun rise, hear the birds tweeting, and the monkeys swinging with the sound of the waves coming from the sea (and if you’re lucky even seeing the dolphins and wales from a distance) this is what nailed it for me. THANK YOU for such a lovely experience! Absolutely nothing!

- Greyling (9/5): Lovely stay - Excellent value for money. Lovely view. Close to shops and restaurants. Our dogs were very happy to join us on holiday. Tanashe is very friendly and he was a great help with daily kitchen and bathroom cleaning. Was happy with sunpower during loadshedding.

From the welcoming to the daily service, the wonderful swimming pool, stunning view and the holiday vibes you get from the house. Its really a home away from home and exactly what our family needed Not much to be honest, when the coffee machine broke Lyndie tried to get it replaced in a very short turn around time and even gave the kids hot chocolate so really no complaints

We were 4 of us plus granny & grandpa plus a little dog. We booked here due to accepting dogs, price and location. It's well equipped, great pool, nice open spaces & Tinashe our host was excellent. He ensured we had everything we needed and cleaned up daily. The braai area, balcony and pool were our favourite parts of the house. I would highly recommend it to families who just need a good homely place close to the beach, shops and restaurants in Ballito. There was a leak in the one bathroom shower onto the floor, toilet door couldn't close and some of the decor was a little dated (quirky and characterful). Generally the house just needs a little updating. Only one set of keys made going out and in separately quite hard.

Best was Tinashe who took care of us daily and who made a plan for everything we requested and even out of his own when he just noticed he could assist. That we had to leave.

But if had to mention something for improvement - Aircon only in main bedroom and lounge, would be great if aircon in all the rooms. Loadshedding is a pain, they had lots of solar lights and indoor lights during loadshedding but would have been great if there was some sort of backup power, especially for the fridge and freezer.

- Bodo (10/5): A home away from home :-) - We had a wonderful stay in the beach house with a refreshing pool and an amazing view to the ocean. If you are lucky you can see whales and dolphins :-) Lyndie, Sergio and the staff are great hosts and made our time in Ballito that we felt like at home.
