- jeffrey (8/5): Great nice pad -

- Eva (10/5): - We had a fantastic stay here! The apartment is a beautiful and atmospheric place where we immediately felt at home. The hospitality of Eleni was truly exceptional and made our stay extra special.
The accommodation is small-scale, with just a few rooms, which creates a relaxed atmosphere. It’s located in a peaceful village setting, ideal base for exploring the area by car. We really enjoyed discovering the surroundings and taking refreshing dips in the pool.
There are restaurants and a local supermarket within walking distance, which was very convenient. Parking is just around the corner.
The location is also great, close to Limassol and within reach of many beautiful places—nature, cultural hotspots, charming villages and beaches.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay with a personal touch!
- roi (10/5): - תודה לכם

- Robert (8/5): TOP - Prima locatie erg gastvrij.

- Robert (8/5): Lovely property, hosts and food in a great location. We would definitely stay again. - Petros and Elene were fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We had breakfast daily and it was full on and very good and we also dined a few nights and feasted on superb 3 course traditional home cooked meals.
The property was lovely, traditional stone refurbished buildings framing a stone court yard with seating areas outside the apartments that were well equipped for self catering if you so wished.
Meleni cottage is located in the centre of Parekklisia in a quiet area with minimal road noise and several good restaurants within easy walking distance. The mattress was too firm for our liking which was a.shame as otherwise the property was excellent..
- Gal (10/5): - We were a group of four friends. We arrived in the late evening, and there was Eleni, the owner, waiting to greet us and show us around. The place is unbelievably authentic and beautiful! Eleni and Petros welcomed us and made us feel as if we were staying with family.
The breakfast Eleni made us was so good!! You must have Eleni's cake, it's addictive!
If we ever return to Cyprus, we'll most definitely stay there again!
Eleni and Petros, thank you so much for your kind hospitality and for all of your recommendations!
Everything was just dreamy!

- G. (10/5): Exceptional - Eleni and Petros' hospitality is truly exceptional. The location is a perfect base for exploring the entire island, with great restaurants nearby. The beach isn’t really within walking distance, but since you need a car to explore the island anyway, this wasn’t a big issue.
- JULIE (7/5): -
- Nikita (7/5): Nice but don’t worth the money - Location Price for value.
There was wedding thank you couldn’t be outside
The pool was not clean and the outside was not clean
- Ioannis (8/5): - Clean,very quiet ,nice pool,very good staff
- Inguna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohammed (5/5): Passable -
- Vladislav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carolina (9/5): Superb -
- Skalsky (1/5): The woman who runs Meleni Cottages is so rude, unprofessional that it was impossible to stay there. -
- Abdullah (9/5): Superb -
- Alon (9/5): Superb - The place is very clean
The location is convenient
Close to tavern
The owners are very nice and helpful The rome is nice but basic
- Kakoulli (10/5): Amazing - Beautiful and clean place! The architecture and garden are lovely. The village has picturesque streets and nice taverns. I would definitely visit again.
- Vladimir (9/5): Superb -
- Andreas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexey (9/5): Superb -
- George (9/5): Superb -
- Brad (9/5): Very Authentic, comfortable and relaxing stay. Hosts were lovely too! - Very authentic and cute stay, a repurposed and rebuilt stable complex in a very authentic part of Prygos! The apartment and apartment grounds were extremely clean and the pool was such a nice place to relax after a big day in the sun. Highly recommend!
- Mary (9/5): A haven from the bustle & heat of the city - The apartment was delightful and the garden was an absolute haven- shade with plenty of sunny corners and a lovely pool area. The village is large enough to have plenty of choice of restaurants and there are several supermarkets. Eleni and Petros were fantastic hosts, very welcoming and kind and helpful. Eleni's breakfast was excellent as was her legendary Mousakka. definitely recommend having both at least once during your stay. There isn't anything that we didn't like about Meleni Cottages. It is possibly a little tired in places but that did not detract from the charm and beauty of the place.
- Ola (10/5): Relaxing, peaceful, quiet - Absolutely unbelievable. Located in a peaceful village. The hosts are just amazing and welcoming. Our kids loved the pool which we had to ourselves most of the time as we went during a quiet period. Local restaurants in the village and the locals are so friendly. Honestly there’s nothing I had a problem with.
- Yulia (10/5): Exceptional - We have booked Meleni Cottages for the wedding ceremony. The hosts helped with everything – from decorations, to food and organization. Thank you very much to Elena for her help and participation. We felt very cozy and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, very nice cottages and swimming pool. Perfect for a couple or family holidays! ❤️
- Tim (8/5): Very good -
- Patrick (6/5): Pleasant - Nice property but a lot of potential for improvement. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Electric installation is not state of the art - socket started to spark and smell/ meld due to hot plastic.
No warm water in the kitchen. Not enough light.
Bed sheets were not clean. Pool was not clean.
- Ion (8/5): Wow room (President) - there was a good atmosphere, swimming pool. there were some moments that I didn’t like, also problems with the stack in the shower
- Cosmin (8/5): Very good - Really accessible place in the village, close the the highway to go for various place on the island really quickly and close to good beaches too. Maybe just a bit noisy since there are a lot of connection roads nearby, other than that really nice.
- Rolandas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Peter (6/5): Perfect for you if you can take your time here and if you like it traditional - We arrived in the dark, a bit late, but Eleni was very flexible, kind and helpful so we still got a full dinner in the closest taverna. For next breakfast she served big amounts of different meals, more than what you'd expect. The yard, the pool, the house is nice and kind of a traditional-romantic feeling. We liked the cats as well, like all around Cyprus. But here there was a special orange-brown tiger style cat that my little daughter wanted to take home. Since that she is missing her "Tigru" :)
The area is nice and I think safe as well. Limassol ca. 20 minutes by car. Yes we had some issues but I think it's more up to us hence we usually choose "modern" accomodations. But if anyone else has more routine with traditional places, will get along with it well. The kitchen should be better equipped for sure. There was hot water only in the shower. There are some electric plugs out from the wall, two lamps had electric-contact issues. Ok, this is not a drama, actually we didn't like mainly two things: one is that all the rooms are quite dark in the morning, there is not enough healthy light to start your good day. Unfortunately the photos here don't show this, they are also mixed so you can't really see where you will get to finally. The second problem is the noise. We got the ground floor rooms and the top is a traditional ceiling made from wood. Therefore you are constantly disturbed by all the movements coming from the upstairs neighbours. All movements... and some voices. Okay you can say let's find it rather as an inspiration, but we had our children with so I was worried quite well you can imagine. Unfortunately we couldn't really rest.
Again, I think this accomodation suits best to those, who arrive for longer time, who buy in the supermarket all what needed, and who enjoy many time at the pool, reading, wine, chill out. But if you are similar to us - we drive away every day to discover all the world and we only need an accomodation for evening-night that provides the same comfort like our modern home - than it's not for you.
- Gordon (8/5): Very good -
- Arnau (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne-caroline (6/5): Pleasant -
- Vilija (9/5): Superb - Great place for family holidays if you have a car. Clean and nice swimming pool, big apartments, nice garden to have breakfast or dinner. Nearby is a nice taverna, where you can try local meze. Food is good, but for 10 people 5 meze is enough :) Air conditioning is an extra charge.
- Clacher (10/5): a blissful traditional home from home. - Eleni and Petrou the owners are there every day, keeping the grounds, rooms and pool spotless. perhaps the sunbeds and garden furniture could be updated.
- Harrison (1/5): Please think very carefully about staying in this place it’s the worst accommodation in all Cyprus - A complete scam and a fraudulent listing on booking I wouldn’t even stay there for free with the knowledge I have got now there were holes in the walls by plug sockets which is incredibly dangerous and the oven extractor fan was not working due to the wires hanging out and live which again is a serious health and safety hazard some of the windows were broken and would not lock and the front door had a gap at the top when locked which is also makes you feel unsafe. The pictures you see online are of one particular suite which has been done to a fair standard but that is only one of the rooms there and they love used it to try and make out like the whole facility meets that standard which it clearly does not. If you still book this place after reading this review then don’t be surprised when you find this all out for yourselves I’m doing my part by putting this clear warning out there overlook this at your own peril. This place should be closed down and if I had my way not allowed to ever reopen based on how bad they’ve allowed it to be in the first place. An absolutely appalling facility with some of the nastiest and rudest staff I’ve ever come across refusing to issue any sort of refund even though we had booked a month and had to leave after one night because it was unlovable and dangerous they also forcefully insist that you pay €4 a day per air con unit even if you don’t use all the units they charge you for them all even in bedrooms that you won’t use when there is clearly only one couple who sleep together. They have ruined my honeymoon these foul people I can only hope no one else books this place and gets scammed and has their money effectively stolen from them. This is an abomination of a so called hotel. There was unfortunately absolutely nothing that could be liked about this accommodation or indeed the unscrupulous immoral people who own and run the facility. The Potamidous are a terrible family to have the misfortune of having to interact and deal with.
- Davor (9/5): Cozy, authentic accommodation - The pool is great with nice surroundings. The whole cottage ensamble is very pleasant with a fantastic, aromatic garden. Breakfast and in particular dinner we ordered from Meleni are exceptional. Some Street cats although we became good friends with them by the end of our stay :)
- Mikhail (8/5): Very good - Good location
Pool
Patio
Cyprus style cottages
10 min to uptown square by car Noisy guests lived close to me
- gaby (8/5): Fine but not to clean & no breakfast - It was good but I paye with free breakfast but there wasn't any breakfast
- Sanja (10/5): Absolutely beautiful place - I have stayed at Meleni Cottage 4 nights for business purpose and I was stunned with this place. Peaceful, beautiful, clean with wonderful service from the family that holds it.
I will recommend this place to everyone but also I would like to keep this jewel away from all and keep it just for me.
- Dzmitry (10/5): Excellent Getaway - We chose to stay in Meleni Cottage Houses overnight as we had an event to attend in Limassol. So, the location is perfect because on the one hand it is very close to the city; and on the other hand it is very quiet and encourages guests to enjoy a relaxing stay.
The Cottages feature 6 rooms, all of them very special. We stayed in the Presidential Suit, which is a renovated and refurbished spacious room in a very old (1901) building. It has a fireplace, a double bed, an armchair set with a coffee-table and a kitchenette. It's also en-suit of course.
The ceilings are very high, which makes it difficult to keep the room warm but we managed with both the fireplace and the AC. It actually is going to be an advantage in summer as the room will be cool despite the temperature outside.
The area of Meleni Cottage Houses is lovely, with tables, benches, sunbeds, and an outdoor pool. It is situated very close to two churches - one very old - Venetian period - and one newish Byzantine looking one.
Guests are offered breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast we bought was very good - homemade with all the natural products.
We were very happy with our short stay and we are definitely coming back in summer for a longer getaway.
- Dzmitry (10/5): Excellent Getaway - We stayed in Meleni Cottage Houses overnight occupying a spacious room in a really old (1901) building. It is called Presidential Suite and features a fantastic arch in the middle of the room and a fairly old gypsum decoration on the wall. Very stylish and very presidential.
The room is large enough to fit a kitchenette, an en-suite, a double bed, a set of armchairs with a coffee table, a dining table, a vanity table, and a fireplace. All furniture is somewhat vintage.
The only disadvantage of the room was that it took quite a while to warm it up using both the fireplace and the AC. However, in summer this disadvantage is likely to turn into advantage as the room is going to be cool despite the temperature outside.
Talking about outside, Meleni Cottage Houses have a lovely yard with tables, benches, sunbeds and an outdoor swimming pool.
They also fed us a lovely homemade breakfast prepared with natural ingridients. They offer lunches and dinners, too.
We are definitely coming back in summer for a longer stay.
