- Hugo (10/5): A budget-friendly stay. - The room price was very reasonable, offering great value for the stay. In addition, the location is conveniently near gas stations and I-95. Because the property is so close to I-95, there was a fair amount of road noise audible from the room. It didn't bother me much since I expected it, but it is something to be aware of when booking.
- Fackenthal (6/5): Meh. Ok. - Reception guy was responsive when I got there late. Room was worn out looking. Cracks in tiles, cigarette burns. It felt like Patty and Selma's apartment from The Simpsons.
And doors in corridor make thunderously loud slams. Why not spend just a bit of money to add devices to prevent this?
And I could hear guy in next room snoring.
- Jerman (3/5): -
- Melette (3/5): The first room smelled so bad I couldn’t stay in there and the second room smelled of stale cigarettes I had to buy some - Morning employee was very nice but I didn’t like the nighttime employee at all LAZY AND UNCARING Really nothing
- Maurkeya (1/5): The owner is a racist and talks down to women. His employee was rude and lied so when i went to talk he threw his hand o - Mr Khalid. And the brown skinned young lady that works at night are very nice and communicate well. They don’t make the customer feel unheard. The owner is rude. The other receptionist are always hounding people for money when things were handled and communicated through a different receptionist. They don’t listen and automatically want to kick you out or call the police. The police are for when things are unsafe.
- LEV (1/5): Adequate - Location Dirty
- Charles (5/5): Below average - Bad We only saw coffee and not alot of it breakfast is food
- Igor (3/5): Все жесть - Ні чого Все

- Maurkeya (1/5): They have the nerve to be nasty to people not knowing what people are going through. Just because you own a business mea - Mr Khalid make sure i was accommodated and always communicated nicely. The people who don’t pay attention to the clerks’ notes.
People kept hounding me for extra money when their system was down and it showed i didn’t pay. When i indeed paid and MR KHALID helped me with the situation. But the other staff did not pay attention nor treat me with respect.

- Michael (4/5): I know I shouldn’t expect too much from a budget motel, but they need to do better. - The woman at the front desk, l believe her name is Connie, is exceptional! She couldn’t have been nicer and went out of her way to make my stay comfortable. She immediately changed my room when I called about the barking dog in the next room and helped me to the other room. The tv service is terrible, the picture quality was poor and the sound was very low. When I tried to increase the volume the channel would change. There were also some shady characters staying at the location.

- Christopher Melton (1/5): Motel Hell!! - Nothing at all! I had to go next door motel 6 to Check in, then when I opened the door to Red roof I was hit with the scent of wet moldy carpet. There was trash in the hallways. When I went in the room there was a bloodstains and burn holes on the bed spread and lamp shade. I left the room to go back to the desk at motel 6 and walked past a hand to hand transaction in the hall. The worst hotel I have ever come across!
- Annazetta (1/5): Keep looking - Nothing Everything
- Luisa Valenzuela (6/5): - Ubicación El ambiente no me sentia tan segura, decía que era área de no fumadores pero todo hasta la ropa de cama olía
- Pardo (8/5): -
- Wallace (3/5): This Red Roof Inn is a complete dump. Start somewhere else. - There was nothing to like about this place. Very poor representation of Red Roof Inn. This place is a dump. Just to list a few things that made this stay terrible. 1) The staff was poorly trained and barely spoke English. 2) The entire place was moist and muggy due to improper ventilation. 3) The building is run down and in dire need of repairs. 4) The floors in the room had not been properly cleaned in who knows how long. 5) The location felt very unsafe. All in all, you get what you pay for and there are plenty of reasons why this place is so cheap.
- Emmanuel (1/5): - Nothing Very disrespectful
- Musibau Olumide (10/5): - Excellent N/A
- Chrissy (1/5): Horrible. NO room available after booking it online - Nothing We arrived not long after booking the room, we were traveling and booked on the road. When we arrived we were told there was NO room available. We drove 12 hours and wanted to go to bed. Instead we were left scrambling at 11pm for a bed to sleep in

- Deborah (10/5): -
- Sliger (10/5): - Comfortable beds and nice clean linens Everyone and everything was great.
- George (5/5): - Good price, decent water pressure shower Thin walls neighbors screaming fighting, dogs barking all night.
I called front desk but they did nothing
- Brian (1/5): I had to cancel my reservation due to mold in the room - There was mold in the room, I did not receive refund yet Did not receive refund
- Jancy (3/5): - I asked for the room to be clean before I got there with fresh towels and fresh sheets and the sheets had blood stains so did the towels… also had no breakfast.
- Peter (8/5): - No breakfast provided No coffee pot in room. My girlfriend is partially disabled and she struggled to get up the stairs to the 2nd floor with no elevator.
- Kristalyn (4/5): Don’t expect sleep - Bed was clean & comfy The hookers getting out of cars, the smell of weed in the hallway, burn marks on bathroom counter while we asked to smoke on balcony and was told no so we smoked by our car. Knocking on doors all night, loud music, 6am couple fighting in parking lot. Got to hotel around 11:30 pm to get some sleep and this is how it was and left at 7 for Dunkin. 😞
- Jana (1/5): - Wir haben den Aufenthalt so kurz wie möglich gehalten Das Zimmer war komplett verdreckt und veraltet, insbesondere das Bad war nicht wirklich gereinigt :(

- sanders (1/5): Bad - Nothing The rooms were dirty ans smell bad I couldn't stay with my family didn't seem safe at all
So different from the pictures I had to book somewhere else
- Precht (10/5): -
- Denney (5/5): - There was a beetle on the cover
- hodges (5/5): Would stay again, overall pleased, hopefully the roach problem is addressed. - Didn't know there was breakfast.
That would have been amazing. Overall I was there for only 7 or 8 hrs. It was quiet enough. There was parking for our 2 tow trucks. The check in guy was nice. One of the beds was dirty. We only needed one so it wasn't a deal breaker. However in the bathroom and the bedding area we were bugged by roaches. I can handle some lax cleaning or a hole in the wall. Realistically I know I didn't rent the Ritz. But bugs especially roaches, are a no go for me.

- Sherril (10/5): -
- Bruce (6/5): - Overall terrible, left 3 hours later
- Terrance (8/5): Satisfied, but no frills - The room was nice for the price and location. It was also pretty quiet
- Catherine (1/5): Gross - Nothing Room smelled disgusting like pee. There was cigarette burns on the bedding and chair. Staff wasn’t any better. Awful stay Room smelled disgusting like pee. There was cigarette burns on the bedding and chair. Staff wasn’t any better. Awful stay
- Verified traveler (2/5): Red Dumpster Inn - Absolutely terrible, I don't know what the story is with this place but don't let it be part of your story. Dirty facility, unwashed sheets, previously used soap bars left on sinks, almost every hallway and room smells like weed and definitely bugs.
The toilets have a high powered flush so there's a positive.
- Ayanna (5/5): -
- Diana (1/5): Bad experience - Nothing :( Smell like smoke is old dark and honestly bad area police came over to let us know to be careful, because they have stolen cars around there. I wasn’t able to sleep lol I kept checking . The worst as the smell even though I asked non smoking, overall don’t recommend for anyone.
- Nick (7/5): -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Wouldn’t recommend - One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. I don’t want to trash the place, because they’re doing what they can. The entire place smells like weed or cigarette smoke. My room smelled so bad that o had to clean all of my clothes when I left. I ended my stay 2 weeks early because it smelled so bad.
As for positives: It’s quiet, other guests were nice, and the staff were all really helpful.
- Agartha Konadu (2/5): - The property was dirty, rooms very dirty and smelly!
- Gara (6/5): - There was an awful smell throughout the hotel
- GERTRUDE (6/5): - Customer service was good. The room was supposed to be non-smoking but ir reeked of smoke!
- Kaden (2/5): - Guy at the front desk was great. The common areas smelt of cigarettes and musty carpets. We looked at 2 rooms, both had sticky floors, various coloured stains in the bedding, and short curly hairs in the sheets. We left after 20 minutes to seek refuge anywhere else. Avoid at all costs.
But the front reception dude was awesome.
- Tamar (10/5): - The staff was very nice and accommodating.
- Harris (2/5): - Service was very friendly and helpful when the keycard had to be reactivated every day. The nice calming sounds of Dumfries Virginia was cut abruptly short by a dog next door that spent its entire day practicing a G minor note, and random friendly strangers providing a unconsensual opera at 2am. Where the atmosphere of the surrounding area wasn’t perfectly matched the unique wall art under the office desk offset it perfectly. And if you were looking to get your nails done look no further, free press on nails are found throughout the hotel room.
- Samuel (8/5): - Non smoking area.
- Melissa (2/5): - No one was available for check in, housekeeping never came not 1 time for entire stay, the sink clogged in bathroom and they never sent anyone to even attempt to fix it or move our room we stayed the entire stay with nasty smelling water stuck in a sink making that whole area unusable for entire trip
- Caleb (10/5): - Staff were friendly. Property a little hard to find. Some trash in parking lot.
- Chrystal (2/5): - Didn’t like anything. Insects in both rooms. Rusted and broken bathroom fixtures.
- Maria (1/5): Bad - Noise, dirty, old.
- MAHMUT MUCAHIT (2/5): - The room was afraid of urine and was not safe. The sheets and the bed were dirty. Please don't be fooled by its appearance.
- Gabrielle (2/5): - Went into the hotel room and there was stains on nearly everything
- Robert (10/5): - Staff was very accommodating and likeable.
- John (4/5): - Dirty and marginally maintained
- Hazel (1/5): Awful - Nothing Fridge broken, ac leaking, dead bugs in room & everything was dirty, hole in comforter. So ghetto
- Carlos (6/5): - Look, you get what you pay for. I really only needed a room for the night...somewhere to sleep. They may be trying to update the place but my room was stained, rusty, and JUST OLD. I don't have pics anymore. I wasn't planning on leaving a review but I found myself here so why not? The room served it's purpose but I wasn't too happy about the dingy room.
- Christina (6/5): - Towels and linens didn’t seem washed, just refolded to look clean; there were noticeable stains and hairs still on them once unraveled. The shower head had low pressure, and takes awhile to warm up. Those are my main complaints.
I liked the layout of the room; the ground floor rooms having access from both indoors and outdoors was very convenient, along with parking directly infront of your room.
The location is sort of hidden in the back, but there are multiple signs to point you in the right direction.
- Salyka (2/5): - The place was horrible. The front desk associate had us waiting about 30mins in the lobby with no associate in sight. I chose them bc I went off by the ratings on Expedia. Don’t go by the ratings it’s all a lie. The room was dirty. The bathroom had hair in the toilet and bathroom. Comforters were stained. Carpet was stained. Room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smocking room. The tv did not work. The front desk associate was very kind when we went down to bring this to their attention when we got up. She moved us to another room which was just a tad bit better. The pillow case in that room had make up stains on it. The corner of the room where the tall lamp was located had mildew stained carpet. We slept on top of the covers I’m glad we brought our own blanket. I guess you get what you pay for but dang this place was a dump
- Verified traveler (6/5): Absolutely recommend -
- Jedidiah (8/5): - Easy check in
- Vincent (4/5): - The bed sheet was dirty with stains. The first room provided had a strong ammonia smell and the bathroom was very dirty. Informed the front desk and he said it's the cleaning solution and open the door to let the room air out for 5 mins. We opened the room for over 15 mins and the room was still smelling bad. We requested to change to another room. Second room did not smell as bad but the bed sheet and still dirty with stains. We removed the bed sheets and used our sleeping bed instead.
- Kevin (6/5): - I thought it was suitable for my purpose.
- Douglas (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Emily (1/5): Bad -
- Katherine (10/5): - Waiting for my place needed a place for a whole ( turned out to be two weeks) No hassle extension.Very friendly staff. Great room for price.
- Franck (2/5): - Rooms are not clean at all
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Value - Decent stay for the price. No hassle for pets. Staff very helpful
- Jessica (6/5): - This spot has potential but it’s outdated and a lot of the materials and furniture in the room were severely damaged, had mold, beds were unmade, rust in bridges and microwaves, brown residue in tubs and sinks. no water pressure in shower and extreme water pressure in the sink enough to spray.
- Billy (8/5): Room choice - The room and a choice of balcony or ground level
- Gros (4/5): I will not stay here again - Low price. No room deposit. Free pets. Run down and dirty facilities (sheets had burn holes in them, TV HAS BAD RECEPTION) as well as not so friendly staff. A lot of shady stuff going on all hours of the night. Seems like the kind of place where human trafficking might happen.
