Bridget (10/5): Favourite Hostel in Rio - Absolutely love this place! I’ve stayed in the six bed female dorm and the six bed mixed dorm. The six bed female dorm is more spacious and has an ensuite, whereas the six bed mixed dorm is more narrow and doesn’t have an ensuite. However both have plug sockets right next to the bed, a little inset shelf, privacy blinds, and TWO lockers for each bed - one under the bed that slides out and one cupboard. The common space is right in the middle of the hostel so is used by everyone all the time and makes for an easy way to meet people. Free shots every night are a winner, and the WhatsApp chat is updated daily with recommended activities, and the activities and tours being hosted by the hostel. However, what made this hostel my favourite was the people. The staff and volunteers, particularly Michelle and Diana, were phenomenal! They are so, so friendly, warm, and kind. They make you feel so welcome at the hostel and create a fun but chill vibe, where it’s easy to meet people and have a few drinks together, but it doesn’t descend into full feral party mode. They were always super quick to answer any questions in the group chat and to help troubleshoot any problem you had, even those well outside the scope of hostel volunteers! Oh! And you can’t beat the location. Breakfast is available, but you have to order the day before. However being in the heart of Ipanema, you have your pick of cafes everywhere so it’s not a big deal at all.

Santos (10/5): hostel é tranquilo, sem muita movimentação ou festas, sendo excelente para quem busca sossego - O hostel tem uma excelente estrutura, ambiente organizado e confortável. A equipe é muito educada, atenciosa e sempre disposta a ajudar. Um agradecimento especial para Dayane, Heloisa e Nikki, que foram extremamente gentis e prestativas durante a estadia. Também vale destacar que os banheiros são constantemente limpos, o que faz toda a diferença na experiência. Como ponto de melhoria, durante minha estadia aluguei toalhas e, após deixá-las no varal, elas foram pegas em duas ocasiões. Acabei precisando pagar novamente, mesmo não tendo responsabilidade pelo ocorrido. Talvez fosse interessante criar algum tipo de controle, como numeração ou registro das toalhas, para acompanhar melhor a devolução e evitar esse tipo de situação. Outro detalhe que acredito poder ser revisto são as cortinas dos banheiros, pois podem acabar sendo pouco higiênicas.

Luana (10/5): Excelente custo benefício e bem localizado - A localização é incrível (uma quadra da praia de Ipanema), perto do metrô e de centros comerciais. Os funcionários são prestativos e muito legais. Há lockers para guardar as coisas antes do check in e depois do check out. A limpeza dos locais era frequente e o hostel possui atividades diárias para todos! O espaço entre as camas é pequeno nos quartos (o que dificultava abrir os lockers embaixo delas) e há muitos pernilongos nas áreas externas (então sempre passar repelente).

Bei Anderen war es nicht der Fall. - am Bett war eine Lampe, die sich nicht verstellen lies (dahinter war der Schrank) sie hat mir direkt in die Augen geleuchtet, weswegen ich sie nicht nutzen konnte. - die Leiter zum Hochbett war viel zu anliegend am Bett, sodass man nicht richtig drauf treten konnte (gerade nachts im Dunkeln)
SKPAD (5/5): Bien tarif excessif FF - L'accueil sympatique, le cadre agréable, la siruation proche de la plage, des commerces et des restos. Si j'avais payé la moitié du prix j'aurais peut être été satisfait. On ne peut pas qualifier "deluxe" une chambre de 12m2 pour 3 sans placard ni le moindre équipement pour poser une valise, une fenêtre donnant directement sur un patio partagé qui interdit toute intimité, le ronronnement des climatiseurs ou autres moteurs 24h/24, des cafards dans la cuisine collective, des WC qui ne tolèrent pas le papier hygiénique. Dommage car l'accueil est sympatique

Faltaron más actividades para hacer con los huéspedes y más asesoramiento del personal sobre todo para las personas que viajamos solas. Falta el típico espíritu de hostel.

Tjitske (8/5): Lekker verblijf in Ipanema - Top locatie dichtbij het strand. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Fijne gemeenschappelijke ruimte. De bedden waren comfortabel en er was geen geluidsoverlast. Er was geen wifi op de kamer en de airco die gaf een tikkend geluid wanneer deze aanstond.

Yasmin (7/5): Nicht wow aber wirklich eine super Lage, nettes Personal und trotzdem auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. - Lage super, Personal sehr nett, WhatsApp Gruppe mit anderen Bewohnern hilft Anschluss zu finden und mitzubekommen was für Events anstehen. Sogar täglicher Reinigungsservice zumindest im Doppelzimmer bei uns, was für Hostels ungewöhnlich ist. Unser Zimmer (Doppelzimmer) hat leider modrig gerochen und war total hellhörig. Wir konnten die Gespräche der Gäste unten in der Küche wörtlich mitverfolgen was nur stören war wenn man schlafen wollte :D aber halb so wild, ist immernoch ein Hostel. Wir würden trotzdem wiederkommen :)
