Une tablette pour nos choses, débarbouillette pour le maquillage, séchoir à cheveux et rouleau de papier supplémentaire. Avec le foyer c'est une température agréable et un environnement romantique La vue est vraiment belle. On peut aller au bord de l'eau. L'endroit semble sécuritaire. On arrivaient après l'heur des enregistrements mais on nous à arrangé ça pour qu'on ait accès à notre chambre. . Le lit aurait pu être plus confortable et le déjeuner est servi à la chambre mais on choisi pas ce que l'on prend. (Ça a plus l'air d'une collation que d'un repas) pour 2: 2 bagel, 2 beurre, 2 fromage à crème, 2 pommes, 1 yogourt, 2 jus en boîte, 1 muffin, 4 saucisses déjeuner. Donc grand risque de gaspillage... vous pourriez donner un sertificat cadeau sur le resterait qui est à côté ?? Ou laisser le client choisir.

So friendly and always welcoming! I've been coming for years and will continue whenever I need a break from the big smoke of Toronto. See you soon!

With the river right in front, the view is just fantastic. We happened to meet our friends from Montreal. They like it so much that they came back for their summer weekends for their last 3 years. We will definite come back.

- Leslie (10/5): Beautiful location and comfortable room - This is a lovely place to stay. It's clean and comfortable and is in a beautiful location on the Seaway. The breakfast is excellent. The staff are always very pleasant. There are rooms and cabins available and there's a cute nightlight in the bathroom.

Felt that with rules worded so strongly about noise i was afraid that even a loud TV might be an issue. We thought to return with other family (and stil may!) but worry that any laughter etc that bothers others would be an issue. Just sounded very strict.

- Gilles (5/5): Needs upgrade, breakfast should open earlier in summer. - It was not luxury, it was ok. I've stayed at luxury hotels for cheaper prices. Breakfast opens to late for us in working days. The rooms are small unlike when we stay at a Hilton with larger rooms. This is by far not luxury, but at times if the price is right is doable. It's more cottage type environment. If water is a must, they do have a nice sitting area by the water. The floors need some changes, but that is another story. Rooms are small, floors outdated...etc...

Les équipements, la cuisine bien équipée (pas de plaque de cuisson mais un micro ondes pour réchauffer), le lit de bonne qualité, la salle de bain. L'accueil très agréable. A quelques minutes de route d'une épicerie. Petit plus le chauffage / cheminée super agréable en plein mois de décembre. Rien.

- Ken (9/5): Beautiful little private hotel that has a warm and inviting atmosphere. - This was a last minute booking and I arrived just after the published office hours. I rang the doorbell and was greeted and checked in promptly. I would be leaving before the breakfast service so the owner went out of the way to fix me a plate with fruit, breakfast sandwich, juice box and granola bar. The room upon entering had the gas fireplace running. The whole experience as short as it was was very pleasant and relaxing. I will be returning. Wish I could have been there longer to enjoy more of the property.

- Janet (7/5): Mixed review … yet would still return! - Location location location Feels like a home away from home and cozy We decided to snuggle in and watch the World Series at night. Despite all efforts - we could not figure out the TV so watched on a laptop. We also couldn’t get the fireplace to work. That was disappointing. Would suggest more written instructions around the room so guests can enjoy amenities. Because it was eve / night, no one at front desk to ask. All that said —— we would all return because of property, proximity to water, charm and pleasant staff
- Patrick (8/5): We would stay there again. - The breakfast was pre packaged for us, not sure if this was normal or jut because there we’re only a few of us for breakfast on Monday morning. Breakfast was adequate and there was plenty. I’m not a fan of sausage so the sausage sandwich was a nonstarter for me. We were staying in early November so the ducks and geese were migrating and rafting over night on the river. Great to see. More hooks in the bathroom to hang up towels/ clothing while showering.

- Smith (10/5): We always enjoy our stay at Dewar's. We have family nearby so it's very handy. - One of the things we noticed this time was the warmth of the room. We don't usually stay there in the colder months. Dewar's rooms have gas insert fireplaces which come on when the room cools off. It was always nice and cozy but not too warm. Nothing comes to mind.

We stayed in off season but I bet its beautiful with its gardens and grounds in the summer. Beautiful place on the river. Tight sleeping on queen size bed but not a deal breaker.

- sindee303 (8/5): Lovely Inn at the river - Functional rooms with a kitchen (that we didn't use) and everything else you would need for a short stay. Very welcoming host and good breakfast. We were bummed we didn't have time to sit on the boardwalk and enjoy the riverside more.

The room was very cute with an amazing view of the river. Everything I needed was in the kitchenette to cook. The deck was very big and there was plenty of seating. The room needs a bit of a face lift but was still very enjoyable. I could hear the people in the next room pretty well.

Comfortable bed and quiet room -- we had the small "suite" which had only a kitchenette and table as well as outside sitting area. Breakfast very good. Just outside town which had a choice of restaurants. Everything worked but all facilities could use a little updating.
- Thierry (9/5): Belle étape au bord du Saint Laurent - Superbe emplacement au bord du Saint Laurent avec un bel aménagement extérieur pour profiter de la vue sur le fleuve. Plutôt bien situé pour rayonner sur les parcs du Saint Laurent et embarquer vers les 1000 Îles après un bon petit-déjeuner. Notre chambre donnait sur la route mais il y a peu de circulation la nuit. Si ce n'est quelques trains au loin. La salle de bain était petite et la douche pas très facile à régler. Par ailleurs,, la chambre n'a pas été nettoyée durant notre séjour de trois nuits mais il semble qu'il suffisait d'en faire la demande pour que ce soit fait. Rien de bien grave sinon. Ce motel reste une très bonne adresse entre Montréal et Toronto.

We called and reminded him again and again he promised to call back in an hour but never called back. Very poor and unconcerned attitude to customer service. Will never stay there again nor will we recommend this place to anyone. It reflects poorly on Booking.com's reputation.

To wake up with a view of the water was stunning I didn't like that I only had one night in Prescott. Would've preferred more and more time at this motel

- Kathy (8/5): - A very comfortable one night stay. There was seating outdoors as well as docks and decking at water’s edge to enjoy.
- Parveen (10/5): - Very beautiful location and very well maintained property. Every small need is being taken care of. The person making and serving the breakfast is so loving and caring. Felt like home. Will surely visit again.
- Giulia (8/5): Beautiful stay on the lake - Beautiful location on the lake. Rooms were not very big (we were not in a small chalet but in the main structure) but were clean and I loved the lake terrace. Breakfast was good, not huge choice of food but worth going. Would come back. The room needed to be opened for air a bit before we arrived but we left windows open (they are protected by a mosquito net) and everything was good.

- Pauline (10/5): Birthday getaway - Our stay was great ,very comfortable cottages,everything you need to cook a meal .They were onlt too happy to change your towels daily if needed.Breakfast was included but only good if you have no allergies. They were kind enough to get me my gluten free bread which i appreciated. But we would rather cook our own breakfast as you get tired of the same thing everyday.The views and the gardens are beautiful. Definitely will go back,we have friends that go several times a year also so Definitely worth the price.Their rooms have a theme and are all a little different.
- Gareth (6/5): Overall decent value, a quiet relaxing place to stay, pretty much as advertised. - Very quiet, staff friendly and helpful. Was there a week, room cleaning and garbage removal wasn't done regularly even when requested, did it ourselves. Facilities are aging and need repair/maintenance.

- derek (10/5): Lovely - What a lovely little place, even the LED screen outside tells you so! We stayed in a room which had a little outside space for seating but the chalets with patio and river views looked amazing. Plenty of parking and about 30 minutes easy walk to town with several dining options. Breakfast quite basic but enjoyable. Would stay again but definitely choose a chalet.
