• Sidney Jack (8/5): Good choice in Alsancak. A good walk to Clock Tower area. - In a good location , lively with bars and restaurants. Room nice , comfortable , contemporary, stylish . Comfortable , good wi-fi , and liked the kitchen facility . Breakfast OK . The shower plumbing was a bit hit and miss one morning. No water for about 15 minutes. Otherwise, worked fine rest of our 3 night stay.

• Magdalena (6/5): Na jedną noc - wystarczający - Bardzo dobra lokalizacja i skromne ale smaczne śniadanie. Miły personel. Łazienka - mała, brzydki zapach z kabiny prysznicowej, cieknący kaloryfer i ręczniki zużyte.
• Pavel Teslenko (6/5): - The staff is extremely welcoming, helpful and cheerful, this part is 10 out of 10, The room was clean enough, not even smelling of smoke. The breakfast was alright. Very noisy, since the early morning it's almost impossible to sleep. WiFi was working, but it seems that a cheap tariff is in use: the speed was really slow. View out of the window.. Better not open it at all. The room lighting is really dim, and shower is in half-broken condition, On the weekend, during and after the vegetable market right outside the hotel, the surroundings get really dirty and foul-smelling. This isn't the hotel's responsibility for sure, but it is its actual surroundings.

• Vangie (10/5): Clean and lovely hotel in the center of Izmir - City center location. 8 minutes walk from metro we took from Izmir airport. Pedestrian streets with lots of restaurants. 15-20 minutes walk to tram to take to Konak to see the clock tower and relax in front of Aegean Sea. Good breakfast. Clean room with a window you can open. Friendly and efficient staff. Farmers market on Sunday with fresh produce. Took guided tour to Ephesus. Very historical. Shower drain needs to be snaked for easy flow of water which is an easy fix.

• Thomas (1/5): - Der Hotel liegt in Zentrum und nah am Meer 😊 Also das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe, kein Obst und keinen Säfte, das Besteck war dreckig es gab's immer das gleiche!!!! Das Personal hat keinen Ahnung von Frühstück Buffet und die Tische war nicht appetitlich abgewischt mit so einem dreckigen Lappen!!! Wir haben Zimmer gebucht mit Küche, bei nächstes Mal buche Zimmer ohne Küche es hat kein Sinn da gab's keine ordentlichen Küchen Untersielieen .Die gesamte Beleuchtung in Zimmer und Bad gingen nur halber an die anderen Lichtschalter haben nicht funktioniert. Zu unsere Zimmer mußten wir durch so genannte Korridor ins zweite Gebäude , der Aufzug war sehr laut . Dieses Hotel ist geeignet für Klassen Ausflüge ect. Wenn man bisschen Komfort erwartet dann lieber wo anderes buchen. Thomas und Anna aus Österreich.

• Keith (8/5): A reasonable, bargain end hotel, I would stay again but only for a short stay. - Easy access from the airport, close to a number of reasonably price restaurants, tram and a Sunday market. Staff friendly. Breakfast was OK, small selection, but enough for 2 days. On arrival we were told that even if we check out 5 minutes late we will be charged a full day!! Rooms were quite small and access to the en-suite was tight. Not a hotel you can kick back and relax in, after a busy day sightseeing as there is no lounge area.

• Munira (9/5): Comfortable and great location! - The location was amazing! Buffet breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable and room spacious. Lots of eating options in the area and a quick walk to Kordon walkway. Half hour walk to Kemeralti. The property is undergoing some renovations. The finer details in the room were not great… light wire hanging off the bottom of the bathroom mirror, soap dish on the wall in the shower was wobbly, the door lock from inside the room just went round in circles and didn’t work, the safe couldn’t be used as was locked since the day we arrived. Despite us informing the reception about the safe soon after our arrival it was not fixed during our stay. The noise from the room next door clearly came through.

• Vugar (6/5): - The breakfast was average, nothing special but acceptable I would like to share my experience at this hotel. Unfortunately, the boy at the reception (I don’t fully remember his name) behaved quite rudely. We had arrived early and were waiting in the lobby, just having a quiet conversation, but he told us not to talk and asked us to move away from the reception area, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. On the other hand, a new staff member named Sinem was very friendly and welcoming. She made a much better impression and was helpful. .

Just in the center of the city but a quiet street at the same time, extremely easy to get anywhere in the city. The room was tidy and clean and comfortable enough too...breakfast was included in my stay whioch is nice and it was good, and the staff were warm and helpful. It is not cheapest hotel in the area but for the quality of the hospitality actually its a very good value hotel. For example I looked some other cheaper hotels by going tot he hotel because I will come gain...they were awful, didn't even have receptions and the locations were awful...this hotel is unlike any of them!!!!!! So I did a good choice will come here again.

The included breakfast had more variety than I expected and set me up perfectly for the day. Walkable to the Kordon, which made the whole stay even better. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Izmir.

• Kayla (10/5): I recommend - the hotel is right in the center of İzmir, with restaurants, cafes, and the waterfront all within easy walking distance. It is siatuated on a quiet street so you don't hear the crowd as well. My room was well maintained and clean. The staff were welcoming and the overall atmosphere was warm and pleasant. Mr Tolga was very helpful in every request I had. Highly recommend for anyone visiting İzmir! Everything was fine I think I requested for king size bed which supposed to be 190 cm but I slept on 180 I guess so Its ok.
• Jimmy (10/5): Perfect base for exploring Izmir - Riva Hotel absolutely delivered. Great location, clean quiet rooms, and a staff that genuinely cares about your stay. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Clean, comfortable, and great value. Would stay again without hesitation. Highly recommend! There was a nice pub next to the hotel and it was a little bit noisy but it was the saturday night anyways, they ended up by midnight and I could sleep.

• Demir (7/5): Citytrip Izmir - Gastvrijheid en locatie, midden in het centrum. Ontbijtbuffet was uitstekend maar t brood mag wel vers(er) zijn. Ook staat er op de bordjes dat,er dagelijks wordt schoongemaakt maar dat doen ze alleen als je er om vraagt. Los daarvan is het overal heel goed schoon.

• Victoria (7/5): Don't ignore your guests! - The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was excellent I am English speaking, my partner is Turkish speaking. Despite me being the lead name on the booking, I was ignored by the staff and they only spoke to my partner who wasn't able to translate all that had been said. Feel that I should have been spoken to and not ignored.

• Hava Haffejee (10/5): Central vibey spot - Riva Alsancak Hotel Izmir Room 303 x7 nights Nusret at reception was friendly and welcoming. Hulya, the housekeeping manager, was very efficient. Tolga, the manager on site, was very proactive and hands-on and always smiling. Sebahat, Nur, and Ayse, who kept our rooms clean and was very helpful. The hotel is situated in a location close to the walking street, the harbour, shops, restaurants, and coffee spots, Alsancak tram stop, and train station for easy transfers. The hotel is neat with a relaxed ambience of music in the background. Rooms were spacious and warm and modern with a nice desk and large mirror TV screen. Amenities are all provided, water, tea coffee, mini kitchen with cutlery, a small stove, kettle, and a sink. Room safe and WiFi standard with slippers. The bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower. Breakfast served by Fuad was a big spread with a lot of options, boiled eggs, cheese, pies, olives, fruit, cereal, soup, sliced polony, and bread The view from the room was of a side street. On Sundays, there is a food and vegetable street market outside the hotel with the locals. Bed was comfortable. The TV had only 1 English channel, TRT news. Any request we had was met with efficient service. Nothing

Breakfast was good although could get repetitive. Helpful staff, great value for money. Cleaning service was bad, e.g not leaving toilet paper/ slippers once and not cleaning the room properly. For instance, toilet wasn't cleaned.

Aircon was very welcoming after a hot day in Izmir. They were busy renovating, but we can't wait to see what it looks like when finished!

Staff were ver welcoming an - It was situated right in the main streets of Alsancak where there were many restaurants and bars! Also close to the Tram if you need to get around town. Great location Only 1 air conditioner in the lounge area bedroom was really hot , unbearable . Needs to have another air conditioner in the studio rooms. Also lift hardly worked .

Отношение персона - Комната была оборудована мини-кухней, и в целом соответствовала описанию как экономичный вариант. Расположение отеля было удобным для туристов. Персонал был недружелюбным и недоверчивым. – Нам сообщили неверную цену за утюг, позже оказалось, что она ниже. – Персонал проверял нас по камером, оплатили мы за услугу утюг или нет, что вызвало ощущение недоверия. – Цена завтрака на месте отличалась от указанной на сайте, она была намного выше, а сам завтрак выглядел очень скромно. – В комнате было очень пыльно, постель была грязной и пахла потом, в матрасе — пятна. – После жалобы персонал обещал уборку, но ничего не изменилось, кроме смены постельного белья. – Я сама попросила новую постель и тряпку, чтобы протереть всё самостоятельно, но получила недовольное отношение от уборщицы. – В душе плохо уходила вода, несмотря на то что мы сообщили об этом сразу, никто так и не пришёл — 4 дня мы принимали душ как в бассейне.

The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any request. Their hospitality really made the stay special. • William (10/5): - Hotel was great. I had a lovely stay at the hotel and Tolga was a true gentleman and a very helpful and considerate member of staff. Hotel room was quite clean, breakfast was delicious with enough to choose from and the location is just perfect. I want to come to Izmir more from Denmark probaly in Summer time this is the hotel I will choose.
• Jesse (9/5): Very good value, very good location, very good breakfast - Staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really good, complete with a lot of options. The room was so comfortable. And the location is very central, most things are nearby and walkable.
• Veronika (8/5): Für diesen Preis einfach toll für einen kurzen Städtetrip - Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage für die Erkundung des Stadtzentrums, das Personal super nett und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war perfekt. Die Dusche war nicht ganz dicht und man musste etwas improvisieren, der Boden wies im Zimmer Schuhabdrucke auf ansonsten sehr sauber
• Onur (10/5): Sejour exceptionnel - Je suis venu passer le Nouvel An à Izmir et j’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel. Dès mon arrivée, ce qui m’a marqué, c’est l’accueil exceptionnel : un personnel très aimable, souriant et toujours prêt à aider. La chambre était très propre et tout fonctionnait à merveille. Le chauffage fonctionne parfaitement également. Le petit-déjeuner est à volonté et propose un large choix à la manière turque, avec une grande variété de plats sucrés et salés. L’hôtel est situé dans un ancien quartier grec et se trouve tout près de Kıbrıs Şehitleri Caddesi (une rue commerçante comparable à Taksim ou aux Champs-Élysées). Il est également proche de toutes les commodités et des transports en commun. L’accès est très facile. Foncez sans réfléchir !
