- marijane (4/5): -
- marijane (2/5): -
- Julia (1/5): Very upsetting, - Not a thing This place was not kept clean and lobby and hallways and in the room
I was kept awake with a dog barking all night and rooms smelled like cigarette smoke
- John (5/5): - Good bargain No shampoo
- Maylee (7/5): - It was close to everything Nothing it was good
- Martin (9/5): -
- Janice (9/5): -
- marijane (10/5): -
- John (5/5): - Value Dog barking until after midnight
- Patricia (9/5): Comfortable, affordable lodhings with the front desk staff that went out of her way to 2 tired old ladies 😊 - Helpful staff
Clean comfortable room
Adorable bedding NA

- Andrew (4/5): Average at best - Coffee available in lobby. Rear entry door was not secured.
- Katie (6/5): -
- Matthew (4/5): Booked this hotel for my wife and our son as they were there for a baseball tournament, my wife said it was the worst st - It was close to the lumberyard baseball fields Pictures from booking.com are a misinterpreted feature
- Renee (6/5): -
- Kelly (1/5): The worst we’ve ever experienced - Nothing Everything
- richard (5/5): It was ok - No breakfast available We’ve stayed here for a few years now and feel the place could use some sprucing up. Just kind of shabby.
- Denis (6/5): Stay was ok - Very run down. Curtains horrible. Check in desk not good.
- Michael (8/5): -
- David (7/5): Red Roof had the lowest price of most motels in Cortland. - There was no breakfast, only coffee. Room was clean. Staff friendly. Stairway carpet needs replacement. Hallway carpet a little dirty. Back door didn’t work with keycard most of the time. No breakfast.
- Sarah (4/5): -
- John (6/5): good value - Rooms are a bit stodgy and dated, but clean and the coffee was good.
- susancaime (6/5): Clean. Fine for One Night Stay - Long drive and needed a place to stop for the night. This was right off of the highway and had relatively good reviews. We’ve never stayed at a Red Roof. This was a fine choice for one night; (And, I tend to be a stickler for accommodations.)
Room itself was clean. Linens were clean and soft. Mattress and pillows seemed lumpy.
Bathroom was clean but shower somewhat stained. Water pressure was excellent and hot.
Wi-Fi was good.
Carpet portion of room and outside room is dated and worn (most of room is laminated however).
Easy on off access to highway.
- John (7/5): - New building adjacent to the main hotel is much newer and pleasant
- John (7/5): - Fire alarm first thing in the morning
- Timothy (3/5): It was what it was a place to sleep while hunting - Location Not clean , shower drains clogged , or slow to drain in several rooms . Homeless wondering around halls , no security door locked at night
- Matan (7/5): -
- Jenifer (6/5): -
- Jack (7/5): - Location Phone didn't work. Had to change tv remote twice. Never anybody at front desk were taking care of hotel next door. Lights were not plugged in
- Thompson (10/5): I love it will come back soon - It's my home away from home when I need to get away from the mother in-law The bath tube was t draining right
- Moore (7/5): -
- Philippe (6/5): Pas terrible !!
- Olga (3/5): -
- Ryan (6/5): - na
- Oksana (9/5): Dobre śniadanie, spokoj palmy i piękne widoki - Piękna okolica Brak
- Alejandro (4/5): - They forgot to clean our room in our second day of stay.
- Mike (4/5): - You are greeted with a musty smell of cigarettes and cheap cleaner that is everywhere. Rooms have stained carpet,
- Koch (10/5): -
- Philip (3/5): -
- peter (10/5): - They allow my pet and allow EASY check in!!!
- gary (8/5): - The staff and the room were fine for what we needed. We only stayed one night. The room was clean. It was old, but it was clean. The bed was fine just the area around. It seemed a little rundown.
- Lisa (8/5): Lean, Quiet, and Comfortable - Very modest, no frills hotel but clean, quiet, and comfortable. Very nice and helpful from desk staff. Close to restaurant, college, and main highway
- Kathleen (6/5): - It literally looks like a crack den. With the gnarly drapes that are falling off the hooks, and the messy red paint job, and the nauseating amount of glade deoderizing spray in the hallways, they have some nerve charging the amount that they do. And the mattress....the cement mattrress. Terrible. The front staff was lovely, though.
- Rodney (6/5): Had the basics - The sheets were clean and the toilet was clean That's all we really needed. I would not have liked to spend much time in the room, however.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Yuck - Bikers, dumpster divers and reminiscent of a shelter. Stay at your own risk.
- Jesus Alfred (4/5): -
- Yerzhan (4/5): -
- KimSM76 (6/5): Not the best, but not the worst... - Front desk personnel seem to disappear for smoke breaks, as does the one luggage cart they seem to have. Floors and beds seemed clean, but odd, square, and lumpy pillows on the bed. The room felt a little dark, and we were unable to open the curtains enough to let some light in. From the outside, some curtains were falling off the tracks. I did not see an elevator and was very glad we were on the bottom floor. To get to the ice machine on the second floor, I had to walk all the way down to the opposite end of the hotel from the front desk, go up the stairs, and go all the way across to the other end of the hotel (basically above the check-in desk). It's good that I'm able-bodied enough to do that.
Some of the tiles in the shower appeared dark in areas, like perhaps there's some mold. Basically, the rooms could use some updating.
We were in room 104, and during our first night there, some kids were hanging out outside because it's so close to the entrance. I pulled back the curtain just enough to see who was making the noise. Thankfully, parents rounded up their kids before it got too late, and the noise stopped.
Like I said, not the best, but certainly not the worst. A nearby brand-name hotel was charging more than double the price, so this Red Roof Inn was actually sold out when we were there.
- Larry (8/5): Nice place to stay. Decent price. Places to eat nearby. - Nice place to stay. Very nice price. Friendly/helpful staff. Multiple fast food places to eat nearby.
- John (8/5): -
- Karen (5/5): - Good location. Not a great value for what we paid. No breakfast offered.
- Restino (1/5): sucked - i got bed. bugs i got bed bugs
- Melissa (4/5): - You get what you get for the price. The staff was a plus, they were friendly but the bed were super uncomfortable, as well as the pillows. The fan in the bathroom was so loud it would wake anyone sleeping should someone use the bathroom late in the night. People were hanging outside, by our window, waking us up. The room had a slight smoke odor, not sure if it is seeping in from outside or from a previous guest.
- Brigitte (2/5): - We didn't stay there. There was nobody there . The place is run down broken windows. I wouldn't leave my worse enemy there.
I will get me refund back
. This place is a scam pictures online are false advertising. All the windows were closed by blinds paper cardboard.
Someone needs to close that place and take it off the Internet
- Seagull (9/5): -
- William (4/5): Reunion trip - Location No working wifi, lack of furniture, lighting shelves etc.
- Carl (8/5): - It was easy to access No elevator
No trash pickup or soap/towel replacement during stay
- mary (8/5): - The room was clean. Dog friendly.
- Michelle (6/5): - This property is exactly what you would expect. A simple, clean, safe place to stay while driving through. Nothing special or extraordinary but definitely gets the job done and I would stay here again for the same purpose at this low price point. The water pressure in the shower was surprisingly good.
- Ayana (8/5): -
- Anderson (4/5): The front desk were very good - No breakfast Television didn't work, the lock in bathroom was broken and I was locked in the curtains are a joke
- Liliana (2/5): Probably best to stay elsewhere - There was nobody to check us in - no instructions given, as to how to get the room cleaned or how to ask for more towels - basically self serve. - children playing baseball I. He parking lot -the only plus side was that it was decently clean plus it had dungeon lighting
- Lawrence (4/5): - Smoke detector was hanging by wires on side of wall. I told staff but they didn’t offer a different room. Electronic door lock quit staff said it was the battery. Had to wake my wife up to let me back in the room. This place sucked. Nothing offed for breakfast except coffee.
- Ponce (8/5): -
- Howell (3/5): -
- Teresa (7/5): -
- John (7/5): -
- Donald (8/5): convenient location and attentive staff - Good location Bathroom tub/shower signs of mold
- paul (8/5): Stairs - Needed a one night stay and it worked out perfect. It would’ve been ok for a second night too but didn’t need it. Starbucks within walking distance. The hotel has no elevator! So be prepared to carry everything up the stairs
- Tim (6/5): - Its ok for passing through and saving a few buck compared to others in the area. Its nothing to write home about.
- Mangesh (5/5): -
- Megan (4/5): - First night was ridiculous, people shouting and banging on my door at 3 in the morning. Cops were called and needless to say, I didn't get any sleep. Room was outdated and things were falling apart. Under the bed was the most disgusting thing ever. There was food and a beer can, I don't think they've cleaned under there in a long time. Beds were comfy and the room was cheap. Get what you pay for, I geuss.
- Scott (3/5): -
- Giuseppe (6/5): - Very out dated and run down
- Korinda (6/5): - It was clean, comfortable beds, fridge and microwave were nice Room smelled like cat pee coming from air conditioner
- Joseph (4/5): - The front desk clerk was very nice. The hallway and room looked and smelled clean but the floor was dirty (got on my feet and transferred to the bedsheets). The bathroom was in need of repairs and probably shouldn't have been rented until they were made. There was clearly a previous issue involving a water leak. The flooring was "spongey" and loose. The tiles were barely hanging around the tub faucet and the grout around them was missing in many places. No one wants to shower and look through a dark hole in the wall....
- Floribeth (10/5): - Awesome
- Joseph (1/5): - Nothing Bed was hard pillows where fake. The worst part of all no hot water just luke warm.
Will not stay here again
- Miguel (10/5): - Very clean, excellent customer service, front desk girl is amazing.
- Charles (1/5): - Nothing Everything. Smell like smoke in the room. Did not stay left and stayed in a friend's RV with my wife. It was rundown and a dump. I would like my money back as I wouldn't let a rat stay there.
- Anne (2/5): Not a place I would stay at again - I had no business being at this hotel. It was not for a woman who was by herself. I was very uncomfortable. I will be going to the area for the next four years, but not back to Red Roof.
- Angela (2/5): - The room smelled like pee, the bathroom was filthy, the beds were old and uncomfortable. The pictures on the site showed a decent room and what I had was awful! I will never book there again!
- Jeffrey (1/5): Worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I do a lot of traveling around the country. - There was no breakfast other than going across the street to Dennys The curtains to the room were broken and I called the front desk and they said the curtain has been on back order for four months. As I drove out of parking lot I could see other rooms with broken curtains. The pillows were another disaster as they were terrible and gave me a sore neck.
- John (4/5): - Curtain was hanging off the wall, bright lights from outside shining in on first night. I climbed on chair to patch up the curtains, most of the plastic rings were broken, many pins missing, got it up there to block light just barely. The faucet handle fell off in the bathroom, got that back on just barely. The rear entry door only worked sometimes with your key, other times you had to walk around the whole building to get inside.
- Michaela (1/5): Terrible - Nothing Our ceiling was leaking and the plaster was falling down. We had to get a bucket to catch the water. The curtains weee broken so it let light in in the morning. Cost too much for what we got!
- Kyle (2/5): - Very unkept - blinds falling off the railings. Stains all over.
- John (5/5): -
- Ronald (6/5): - Located close to I81 for tired travelers
