- Quamelle (5/5): - The size of the room was spacious and our room had a pool in close proximity. There was a shuttle to the airport upon departure. We stayed for songkran and went out about 2pm, we asked for our room to be made up and then we returned around midnight our door was left wide open. I reported this to the supervisor overnight but didn't hear anything back. This is a fundamental security issue and is enough to not return.

- Carl-Philipp (10/5): Ganz klar eine 10 von 10 - Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen in Chiang Mai verbracht. Wir waren total begeistert vom Thai Akara Hotel! Das Personal war durchweg überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade in die Suite erhalten. Jede Empfehlung vom Personal (Restaurants, Schneider, Tagesprogramm, …) waren Volltreffer! Es war komplett sauber und gepflegt - ein sehr familiäres Umfeld. Das Hotel ist super gelegen, mitten in der Stadt aber im Hinterhof und dadurch sehr ruhig. Der Pool lädt zum Entspannen nach einer langen Stadt Tour ein. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Das Frühstück ist klein und süß, aber vollkommen ausreichend.

I went to have breakfast and the staff came in singing happy birthday carrying a delicious birthday chocolate cake! They also took a picture that they later framed and gifted to me. It was the sweetest surprise. I cannot thank them enough. Would definitely stay here again!

Daar lag constant een plas water waar je doorheen moest, ook al was het geen regenseizoen. Dat was onprettig. We sprongen er overheen om geen vieze voeten te krijgen.

There wasn't any storage space for clothes except for a clothing rack in our room. We were forced to live out of our suitcases. Only one nightstand, we had to improvise and use the 'sitting-area' table as a second nightstand. Using the shower flooded the entire bathroom as the shower cabin was not really sealed shut, had to use a towel to stuff the gap between shower and rest of bathroom.

It was really pretty and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was very sweet. The property provides a number of snacks, which was really appreciated but amongst the items were sodas in the fridge which was kept a little too cold so the sodas were partially frozen. When we opened one it exploded everywhere and we used the room towels to help clean it up. The hotel attempted to charge us to replace the towels saying they were unable to be cleaned. That was both odd and unacceptable. The price they asked for the towel was also extremely high

- Ming-Chang (7/5): 飯店價格不算便宜，雖然地點不錯，有設計感，但早餐普通，房間隔音不好。 - 屬於精品飯店有蘭納風格，比普通飯店多了幾分設計感，設備也還算新穎， 位於古城內地點不錯，走幾步路就有餐廳、咖啡廳、spa、博物館、寺廟... 房間的門開關聲音蠻大的，所以經常凌晨或半夜會被隔壁房間吵醒。 這點幾乎每一天都會有這樣的狀況，也就是飯店的隔音不算太好。

- Cindy (10/5): A wonderful boutique style hotel with amazing staff - Loved the style of the hotel. It had a wonderfully calm feeling about it and has been beautifully designed. The location is superb - hidden away from the bustle of the main streets. Our room was spacious, airy and beautifully maintained. The staff were exceptional in their professionalism and hospitality. I would love to stay here again. Nothing about the property but the loud music from one of the bars on the main street was a bit of a nuisance late at night/early hours of the morning.

- Matthias (10/5): Die richtige Entscheidung - Unser Aufenthalt im Thai Akara in Chiang Mai war rundum hervorragend. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns willkommen gefühlt. Das gesamte Team ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie professionell und selbstverständlich man mich bei einem kleinen Missgeschick unterstützt hat. Genau das macht echte Gastfreundschaft aus. Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel ist auf sehr hohem Niveau. Alles wirkt gepflegt, ruhig und durchdacht. Man merkt, dass hier mit Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird. Jeder im Team hat spürbar den Anspruch, dass es den Gästen wirklich gut geht. Die Lage ist ideal. Mitten in der Altstadt und perfekt, um Chiang Mai entspannt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Tempel, Cafés und kleine Läden sind bequem erreichbar. Ein absolutes Highlight ist der Sunday Walking Street Markt. Unbedingt hungrig hingehen. Die Auswahl an Streetfood ist fantastisch und gehört zu den schönsten Erlebnissen in Chiang Mai. Als kleine Anmerkung: Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig. Uns hat es nicht wesentlich gestört, aber wer sehr geräuschempfindlich ist, sollte das wissen. Für uns war das Thai Akara die perfekte Wahl. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
