Glenda (10/5): Tropical oasis in paradise - Beautiful, peaceful location right on Orchid Bay. The inn has a rooftop terrace/bar where you can sit with your morning coffee or watch the sunset over the bay. Host Stephen cooks your breakfast with all local ingredients and his own home-made sourdough bread. A nice bonus is that the inn partners with a local travel company that can arrange transportation and tours to archaeological sites and outdoor nature activities like reef fishing and snorkeling. Melissa (10/5): Lovely and affordable Inn - We loved everything. The Inn is beautiful and the room was fantastic. The pool is within walking distance and next door to a bar/restaurant that is on-site. I wasnt aware of that but it was not a big deal at all. Stephen was very accommodating and assisted me with booking an excursion during my stay. He offered to prepare us hot meals for breakfast but we chose a quick meal which consisted of homemade granola and yogurt. We would definitely stay there again. There was nothing that we didnt like

Erik (9/5): Privat gated resort, good alternative to Corozal for exploring northern Belize. - Location is 15 minute drive from Cerros, the only seaside Mayan temple city, and 50 yards from the Caribbean. This was the only lodging out of five while visiting Belize that offered breakfast. The owner/proprietor expat has been there 15 years and was a welcome wealth of information on Belize for us at the start of our trip. I could have used water shoes to swim at the beach, or maybe it was just getting too dark to find the sandier areas.

Abe (4/5): - We didn’t like it that we had to go through the owners living quarters and we don’t do well with pets inside. We just didn’t like the dog hair and smell in the eating area. This will keep us from going back. Owner was really friendly though.
Rachael (1/5): Horrible experience, BE CAREFUL!!! - We had a horrible experience and were unable to get reimbursed even though we didn't actually stay. We had reserved for a week for our work team but upon arrival found one of the rooms very dirty. Shorty after the owner arrived and used his key to come into our rooms even though we were inside and he did not ask permission to enter. He was VERY aggressive with us about rules which had never been shared with us. We felt unsafe that he was bursting into our rooms and treated us very poorly. We did not feel comfortable staying there so we offered to pay for a night even though we were leaving, but he refused to give us our deposit back even though he was clearly in the wrong. Overall bad experience and so much money lost because the owner has anger issues and refused to be respectful to his guests.

Shubha (9/5): Superb - Great location overlooking the bay, but you need a car to get around! The owner was wonderful in driving us around. The ferry could get quire busy. If you like quiet ecological stays, this is a great place. Not touristy or overcrowded. Road access, need transportation to get around.
Patricia (10/5): a wonderful intimate experience with great food and accomodations,and especially accomodating owners - the owners, Stephen and Kimberly really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable in their BNB. Thru them my husband and I got to meet many of their lovely friends which made our experience much more intimate. Kim helped with our last minute plans to visit Mexico nearby and made sure our day there was special. they even had a yoga class which was really nice and the restaurant and pool nearby was great.

The property is in a gated community with easy access to many activity options outside the community. Within the community it was quiet tranquil with incredible views from the roof top bar. The honeymoon suite was stunning in its design and furnishings. Breakfast each morning was delicious and catered to our needs. Wilifred meet every need we possibly had and was wonderful to visit with in addition to being a licensed guide! If you looking for a space to gain some serene beauty and tranquility this is the place for you. We give it 5 stars. Keep In Mind we spent two weeks in the stunning country of Belize and experiences so much from private island stays to jungle retreats. This property is an experience you don’t want to miss. The frogs sang their songs at night with the firefly’s dancing in the trees.I cannot say enough!
Lynn (8/5): - This bed and breakfast is perfect if you don't require all the extra luxuries in your room. It is a very nice, basic room with air conditioning, which is very important to me. I thought I was going to miss having a TV in my room, but I found that I could spend the time reading on my laptop instead. The breakfasts were superb! And staying at the Crimson Orchid Inn permits you full access to all the amenities at the Orchid Inn without the price.

Verified traveler (8/5): Very friendly place - This is a gated community area off the beaten path. It is a bit of a hike to get to but the people make it worth the drive. Very friendly and welcoming group. Breakfasts were great and we found the local restaurant very good for meals. Everything we had was very tasty and reasonably priced. Internet was not reliable and it would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room but those are the only complaints we have. We would return just to see the people again.
