- Michael (10/5): - I think this is definitely one of the better hotels in Tarlac - if not the best. I was here for a few nights while visiting family and was genuinely impressed. The staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful, and thoughtful from the get-go. Even before I arrived, reception helped arrange an airport transfer from Manila and sent over gym recommendations. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and well run. My room was spacious and the bed was properly comfortable - I slept like a log. There was a rooster outside with a questionable sense of timing, but that’s Tarlac for you, not La Maja Rica. Breakfast was busy, lively, and just right. I’d read some moaning online, but honestly, the Filipino dishes were tasty, the omelettes were excellent, and yes, you can order decent coffee separately, too. The location worked perfectly for me - a gym within walking distance, and the SM mall nearby has everything, including a Starbucks if you're that way inclined. All in all, a great stay. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

From the security, client experience and food and beverage all are absolutely a memory to remember. Rooms were surprisingly spacious and very clean however bath is a bit of limited accesibility. I will give it a rate of 5/5 because of the Filipino-backed hospitality of super friendly staffs: Marlon, Eugene, Jenny, Joanna, Shane, Carlo and Remark. Huge appreciation team for the amazing service.👏🏻 Definitely will be staying here again! 👍🏻

Food is great (small portions but can go for seconds)! The only comment that i have is the AC, which they moved me to a different room. And their pillows are bit stiff. - 845esau (6/5): La Maja Rica, hotel in Tarlac - Hotel is located quite near to shopping centers, and even everybody here is using "tricycle" there are many restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are tidy even li'l bit old, aircon and other electricity works only when your keycard is inserted to slot next to door. Pool is nice, warm water heated by sun, but quite small. For me big disappointment was breakfast. It was typical Filipino style, with just rice and another dish changed daily ( dried fish, chicken adobo, sardines.. etc). With those you can have an omelet or fried egg and toast. All internatiolal foods were missing. No bacon or beans, no cheese, ham or salami with your toast. Anyway, the staff is extreamly friendly and willing to help you with all your needs. Room rates are affodrable, especially when booked in advance ( Walk in rates vary)

The hotel is close to everything, the hotel staff are very friendly always greet you whenever you come across with them. And always accommodating whenever you need something. The place is clean. Staying here feels like home. Will definitely stay here when we come back again.

The location is very good as it is near to transportation, the SM Tarlac Mall and the Metrotown Mall. The available parking is very useful for travelers. La Maja Rica has several room sizes for selection depending on your family travel needs, to include the premium tower and pool side accommodations. The mini-bar in the room has light snacks and some cold beverages for purchase. The La Maja Rica front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff are all very helpful, friendly and cheerful! My favorite way to start the day is having the included breakfast with chicken and fish, steamed and garlic rice, toast and fried eggs. The chef will create your omelette to order. You can enjoy your breakfast with coffee, juice and water in the covered seating area with overhead fans or pool side at the round tables under a large umbrella.

Very warmth welcome always with beautiful genuine smiles on their faces, attentive to all our needs and helpful during our stay. Clean linens & room. I can’t asked for anything better. Number one best hotel in Tarlac. Accessible to all needed amenities. Mostly walking distance. On the main building there is a travel agency, beauty salon, massage parlour, cuisine, restaurant. All affordable . 🤩🤩🤩👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 We checked in every year at times x 2 in a year. We’re from Australia. Happy to be with them al the time. It is like a family home to us. Thank you again to all staff. The rooms are clean and modern and there is a nice pool. There is plenty of parking. The free breakfast is very good. Close to malls and main roads. We have stayed here a few times and found that their service is consistently very good.

There's not so much amenities and I think this hotel can improve more. The breakfast buffet was good though not so much to choose from. There's a construction ongoing at thr parking lot without enough hazard warning. So I guess they should do something about it.

- brendapR4088EF (10/5): Best hotel experience at La Maja Rica - My husband and I stayed at La Maja Rica Hotel for 2 weeks in January 2024 and I have to say that it was the best decision we made. Best hotel in Tarlac because 1. The smiling staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful . 2. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained.and newly renovated 3. The location was perfect - close to the city centre and malls and bus terminals. If you need to fly out of Clark airport, there is a bus terminal a block away that will take you there directly. 4. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. 5. The hotel is beautiful and the decor was modern and stylish I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again next year.

Everyone was so kind and helpful! We ate at the restaurant near the pool a few times and the food did not disappoint. We recommend the Ricci pizza- delicious! Hotel transportation to and from the airport was also great. 10/10 would stay here again!!

Reservations and transport were all taken care of by the hotel and staff. Everyone was very friendly and there were even cute dogs staying at the hotel!

We arrived to a brightly lit, elegantly decorated lobby with half a dozen smiling employees who immediately made us feel at home . Our room was very clean, spacious and well appointed. We enjoyed lounging at the pool with the abundance of tropical plants, tasting the fresh fruit smoothies, & particularly liked the taco salad & pizza for lunch :)) we will definitely be back!!
- travistv (10/5): Best of Tarlac - Had a last minute family trip and honestly wasn’t expecting to find much in Tarlac, but this hotel exceeded expectations. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was good, and cold beers by the pool were refreshing :) We were in the higher floors and had a good view looking out over the city. WiFi was steady, even connected my computer to the HDMI to watch NFL Playoffs! Solid hotel.
- Hazel (6/5): - It’s so close to sm tarlac. You can pay the tricycle driver 50 pesos to take you to sm city . It’s very convenient. Parking is not a problem. They cleaned our rooms every day. You have to be used to their hand held bidet. That’s the only thing about the place. The breakfast was great ! Filipino food and its buffet. The guy who made us an omelette every day and some toast and jam too! Very hospitable! You can even get your clothes washed for $2.00! It’s up to 10 lbs of clothes! It comes back washed and folded up! So interesting and so convenient!!

- zdarziur (8/5): Impressed with the place - We looked for a hotel at the last minute here at Tarlac and saw the pics of this hotel on Agoda. We were not expecting much but we actually liked the place. It was cozy and had a warm feel to it. As we entered into the car park, i suddenly recalled that my Dad and I used to stop over at this place that had a huge restaurant and was always packed with cars way back 30+ years ago and because i just lost my Dad last 2021, i felt nostalgic. The rooms are actually spacious and very clean.. the pool was also well maintained and their rates are actually reasonable P2,700 for 2 adults and 2 kids with free breakfast already. The dinner buffet was also great and worth it.. my daughter actually had two platefuls hehe. Place seems well managed and maintained. Keep up the good work! I highly recommend this place.

Every time you leave the room the air-con would shut off and the room would get hot again and then take hours to cool down. There were times when the room was to hot to sleep. Poor customer service just to save a few dollars. This hotel chose cost over customer comfort. Will not be staying here again. Would not recommend.

However the hotel was not in the best shape. There was a big spa bathtub in the room, but it was leaking. The shower had no shower door. The sofa's in the room were not really clean. The breakfast was pretty average. Anyhow I will happily stay again mainly due to the friendliness of the staff, and hope the room condition will be improved.

Their cook is Super because the dilis and fish daing are not burned. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I was there for a funeral services of a relative and I'm glad my 4 nights stay in that hotel is a comfortable one. The staff are all Super friendly and helpful..
