The owners were very helpful and the room was large, bright and had a wonderful balcony overlooking the pool. Excellent value for money, would definitely stay here again. The only negative would be that the chairs on the balcony could be a little more comfy. But that is all.

Les équipements sont un peu vétustes : la clim ne fonctionnait pas vraiment, le sèche-cheveux non plus. La salle de bain était très humide également. Ce n'est pas la faute du homestay mais plusieurs bâtiments dans la rue sont en reconstruction (leur démolition a fait trembler les murs de ma chambre).

In the quieter end of An Bang, close to walk to the beach and cafes, a mini mart next door, a local chicken and rice restaurant across the road, a pharmacy is 2 minutes walk away, further down the road lots of cafes, spa and ATM.

The guesthouse is at the peaceful end of a busy street, next to a lane going down to the beach with restaurants and free sun lounges. Mini mart next door. Fresh air and sunshine, clean bathroom, quiet building. The listing said it had a ‘bath’ which it didn’t have, but it wasn’t a problem, I think it was just an error translating from bathroom meaning shower

Really appreciated the warmth of our welcome from all the staff, and their hospitality. Also their patience when my first attempt at payment was declined by my bank due to security worries. No problem with subsequent attempt after confirming my identity. Marvellously convenient location in the town. Mildly concerned about the parade of ants through my bathroom each morning, but they stayed on their chosen path, so didn’t warrant any kind of complaint. Nothing else was any bother at all.

Les sanitaires séparés en trois parties (toilette / douche / lavabo) - la petite piscine Certes c’est un homestay mais nous avions l’impression de louer juste une chambre mais pas de services associés (pas de petit déjeuner, pas de boissons/bar, pas de réel espaces pour se détendre ou rester près de la piscine). Le propriétaire est très gentil mais ne parle pas très bien anglais. Pas beaucoup d’échange

The home stay is kept beautifully clean and breakfast was good. It’s a short walk to the beach and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within easy reach. The door to my room was glass with an translucent film for privacy. This wasn’t an issue but the hall light was on all night which flooded my room with light.

The family room is large, modern, clean and - great for families on long journeys together - has an adjoining door, so everyone can get a little alone time, or do work/school zooms etc. Dom who runs the place is really nice, and super helpful at no notice. His family and the staff are equally lovely. The Homestay is excellently located on the little through road through A Bang Town, super close to numerous shops, restaurants, bars etc - but not at all loud. A few minutes walk to the beach. All very clean, the family were all very friendly and welcoming. Good location, very near the beach. Had a good selection of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance but quiet enough so you weren’t disturbed by noise at night. Can’t think of anything negative.

• Mark (8/5): Friendly and modern budget family homestead accommodation - Super friendly family hosts. Clean and spacious rooms. Beach is only 2 mins away. Location in Ba Nang area is perfect just in the edge and 1 minute to the village cental. It's a great price but did expect the breakfast to have more choice. Juice, cereal, yogurt and some meat with the fresh bread would have been good. Providing soap and shower gel in the rooms would be good. If these 2 issues were available it would be 10/10. I would return.

Pool was nice and refreshing.The hosts were lovely and accommodating. Breakfast was a bread roll and jam. Because I don’t eat eggs that was it, there were no other options.

• Clarissa (10/5): Exceptional - We had a family room that was so spacious & comfortable. Had a balcony with a great view for seeing the whole strip on A bang. Even though it was a home stay never felt like they were cramping your privacy but if you needed something they were always there to help. Beautiful pool for a dip & 3 mins walk to A bang beach & loads of restaurants & cafes. They were so honest in all the services provided. When we go back to Vietnam we will be staying there! We were on the top floor so walking up stairs no lifts but that wasn’t an issue for us & we were helped by the owner with our luggage on arrival & departure.

It is situated at the quieter end of An Bang which is also a bonus. Takes 15 mins by motorbike taxi to Hoi An. 3Ladies sunbeds provide delicious coconut water, fruit, food. • Pieter (8/5): Long term stay - Perfect location Really affordable in comparison to other accommodation options in the area Staff were always friendly and willing to accommodate me during my long stay. Recommend a room with a balcony For people with back issues, they have a different matrass in each room. Soft to firm. Motorbike to rent across the street (200k per day) They give you a key so you can come and go as you like. The rooms are pretty solid, so you don't need to worry about noise coming from other rooms. Ceiling fan and AC in the room Grab services are mostly available without any issues in An Bang area, except for late at night. The beach is minutes away depending on which entry point you'd like to enter from. 2 things that would have made the stay a bit more comfortable. Wish they provided some toiletries for the rooms Wish the breakfast menu had a bigger variety and more healthy options.

• Shani (10/5): Amazing!!!! - Came for 3 night and stayed for a whole month!! This place is just amazing. The hosts are the kindest people you’ll ever meet. The room is very big and clean, shower is great with hot water and strong stream. The room is very quiet you can’t hear nothing from other rooms/the street. Pool is amazing, everything is super relaxing. You can book many day trips with the hotel staff, the trips were amazing and for the best price. Many many restaurants and bars very close to the homestay and beach is 2 minutes walk! We enjoyed every second of our staying, really hope to come back someday! Thank you so much for having us 🙏🏻🙏🏻

It’s a short walk through lovely narrow laneways to the beach. There are restaurants everywhere. Pool small but great for a cool off on a hot day. Great place to stay.

• Louie (10/5): Best place to stay in an bang - Best place we stayed in Vietnam. A really big room, comfy beds and a nice balcony. It was quiet and only 3 minutes walk to the beach, this is a perfect place to stay in an bang. Was all good.
