• Ina (8/5): gutes günstiges sauberes zentral gelegenes Hotel - Das Hotel liegt zentral am Bahnhof Termini. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und einfach eingerichtet, dafür aber auch sehr sauber. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir bekamen jeden Morgen Kaffee (Espresso) und Wasser (Auf Nachfrage). Für den Preis kann man nichts besseres erwarten, wir würden wieder hingehen!
• Verified traveler (4/5): - When we arrived we wernt given the room we paid for,plus it was difficult to find.. All rooms need painting. Ceiling of shower needing cleaned. Aircon didnt work right. Breakfast wasnt continental. Mattresses were far too hard. O ly thinf was fresh clean sheets everday. Definitely a 2 star not 3 stated

• MG (4/5): Non corrrisponde alla descrizione. - Prenoti come Hotel Stargate. Questo sta a piano terra. Ti dicono che nn hai prenotato lì ma devi salire al 4o piano dove il nome è quello di Alex Romano. Avevo già soggiornato in A.R. e certo se avessi visto che era quello non avrei prenotato lì di nuovo. Stranamente mi viene detto prima dall'hotel Stargate che loro nn hanno a che fare con il Relais Stargate (alias Alex Romano) ma da Alex Romano ti mandano a far colazione lì. Oltre al fatto che dalle foto la recption risulta quella dello Stargate, non del Relais Stargate. Inoltre la prima volta non mi era stata fatta la ricevuta. Questa volta, dopo insistenza, la ottengo ma di importo inferiore a quanto speso e con timbro illeggibile!!!!
• Verified traveler (2/5): PÉSIMO HOTEL - Hotel pésimo, compartido por otros tres hoteles, la recepción era un escritorio en medio del pasillo del hotel, muy sucio las sabanas y cobijas sucias y viejas, mal olor, cuando llegamos aun estaba sucia la habitación y con tollas para baño dentro del escusado en verdad una muy mala experiencia, tuvimos que reservar otro hotel. A parte de todos los inconvenientes el hotel esta en una zona fea e insegura
• Verified traveler (6/5): - La stanza era pulita con piastrelle e pavimenti nuovissimi.. ma gli arredi molto datati,il letto decisamente logoro ma la cosa peggiore é la condizione pessima dell'ingresso e dell'ascensore molto sporco,con polvere e sporcizia di vecchia data..un vero peccato che non sia attenzione a questo,è davvero una pessima presentazione.. Il personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile migliora sicuramente il giudizio sul soggiorno ma non so se ritornerò..

• Alethia (8/5): Hotel estratégico - La ubicación es estratégica cerca de Termini para moverte a cualquier lugar. El personal es muy amable y la conexión Wifi siempre fue excelente. Todo me pareció muy seguro dentro, incluso te pueden guardar tus maletas por una módica cantidad si lo necesitas. La habitación fue sencilla pero por el costo estuvo muy bien. La calefacción funciona perfectamente. Definitivamente al volver a Roma siempre será una opción a considerar.

• jenny (4/5): Good Location but not a comfortable hotel - When we got there the hotel's elevator didn't work. They told us to carry our luggage up to the fourth floor. They didn't offer to help us at all. The 4 days that we were there the elevator was never fixed and we had to use the stairs the whole time. Also our mini fridge didn't work and the internet only worked outside of our room. The beds felt like sleeping on hard plastic. Overall, the only good thing about the room was it was closed to the Termini station, the hotel itself didn't provide comfort or service.
• marco (10/5): Risparmio e cortesia a Roma. - Molto comodo perché vicinissimo alla stazione termini però nello stesso tempo un po' defilato dalle zone critiche. Molto gentile lo staff, disponibile alle varie richieste. Suppellettili abbastanza nuove e pulito. Unica pecca l'aria condiziinata un po' soft e l'impossibilità di aprire la finestra che teneva ben lontano il rumore sulla via. Sono stato in hotel ben più cari a Roma e non ho avuto servizio migliore!

• Gabriela (10/5): Perfect hotel - Less than 5 minutes away from Termini. The staff was always nice and the room was perfectly clean. I've stayed in more expensive hotels in Rome and I honestly did not see a big difference between those and this one.
• Robbie (6/5): Great Location - upon arrival to the Hotel we were greeted well and the guy at the front Desk was very helpful. we went straight up to our room and dropped off the luggage. took off to see Rome. got back to the room around 8:00pm the room was not as cool as I was used too sleeping in at night. well we decided to try and make it work. so we took cold showers and went to bed. slept all night with out any cover and was fine. the bed mattress is old spring styles and was hard to sleep on. its an old and outdated hotel but I was looking for a room that was cheap because I knew we would not spend much time in the room. we would leave about 5:00am or 6:00m and not get back to the room until .8:00pm or later. so if you are looking for a cheap room and don't plan on spending a lot of time in it.then this would be for you. but if you need something to spend more than a few hours a day in. I would find something else. this room was cheap and extremely close to the train and subway which I rode several times a day. we spent 5 days at the hotel and was satisfied with the accommodations for our needs. you just have to decide if you want extreme comfort and higher prices or lower prices with less comfort. every one has their on budget and needs.
• Billy (4/5): You get what you pay for. - I'll start by saying that I paid very little for this accommodation and the room, facilities etc.where pretty much what I expected for the money. Location was excellent, right next to termini train station and within walking distance of major tourist attractions. What I didn't enjoy were the hordes of teenage German kids who were staying at the hotel and other hotels within the building on school trips. You could regularly find about 15 to 20 of them sitting on the stairs blocking the enterance to the hotel and making noise into the early hours of the morning. These groups came and went in waves throughout the two weeks of my stay and it's something you should taking into consideration if thinking about booking this hotel. The area looks a bit rough but was perfectly safe to wander about with plenty of restaurants and cafes close at hand. Pretty standard budget accommodation for Rome but be prepared to run the gauntlet of school kids if you choose to stay at this hotel.
• Gloria (10/5): Excelente ubicacion!!! - La ubicacion es inmejorable, esta a tres cuadras de la estacion de trenes, con muchos comercios y restaurantes. La atencion del personal es muy atenta y servicial, hablan español, que para nosotros fue muy importante, y nos asesoraron muy bien con los medios de transporte y las excursiones. Excelente!!!
• Helen (6/5): Basic but clean - The room and bathroom was clean although there was a slight smell in the bathroom. The only problem was the toilet which on the first night once flushed, kept continually filling so you couldn't flush the toilet again. When I reported it to Reception they said it couldn't be repaired until morning which meant we had to listen to the noise of the toilet all night. The problem was fixed the next day only for the same thing to happen on the last night of our stay. Apart from this the room was basic but clean which is what we expected and was fine for our needs. Breakfast was not what you would call healthy (a pastry and biscotti) but filling enough, although we had to ask for a glass of cold water each morning as the only water available was hot water.
• Francesco (6/5): - Hotel vicino a Stazione Termini, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi. Non fatevi impressionare dalla vista esterna del palazzo che include altri 2 hotel. Consiglio: forse indicarlo meglio assieme alle altre targhe fuori dal portone principlale. Ho soggiornato in una camera per 2 dotata di comfort essenziali e pulita. Colazione non molto variegata ma essenziale con diversi tipi di brioches e macchina per caffè, thè e succhi. Personale alla reception cordiale e disponibile a soddisfare le vostre esigenze. Hotel consigliato per brevi weekend o giornate a Roma.
• DANIEL (4/5): Flojo - Un hotel en un edificio compartido con por lo menos 3 hoteles más. Las habitaciones estaban bien aunque la ducha era muy pequeña e incómoda. El desayuno fue de lo peor. Solo había café y jugo de máquina y para comer solo había facturas (masas dulces, masitas, bizcochos, etc...) Uno de los días en el desayuno un empleado le dijo a un huésped que era solo una factura por persona.
• francesco (10/5): Do stay at Stargate,you won't be disappointed - I liked it very much..close to stationed termini..my son and got to hotel around eight am just hoping to drop luggage till room was ready.which we did..man on duty was very nice,offered me coffee and pastries before starting sightseeing even though we didn't sleep there night before..the room was ready by eleven..the only constructive criticism I would offer is the coffee wasn't so great.thankyou Stargate,your awesome.francesco avila

• Kleber (6/5): Near Terimini. - Hotel very old, in a building with plenty other hotels. We left early so we didn't have breakfast. The bedroom was OK, no more than that, don't expect any kind of luxury or new things, everything is very old. The air conditioner wasn't working, Anyway, I got the place because it had a good price and was close to the Termini station because I had an early flight. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. For that reason the hotel was OK, if I had any other reason to stay in Rome I would think twice about this place.

Breakfast was very basic and could be improved - only a range of croissants were available so no good if you had any allergies or were a vegan. Hotel is near train station which is convenient :)
• Verified traveler (8/5): - A primeira impressão do hotel, confesso, não foi lá muito boa. O check in foi um pouco demorado e desorganizado. No dia seguinte, contudo, a impressão do local melhorou. A cama é confortável, o quarto é limpo, o corredor é bem cheiroso, o café da manhã é gostoso (croissants de chocolate, de creme, de queijo, com mel... o chocolate quente da máquina é muito bom também!), mas o quarto, em si, deixa a desejar. A localização é ótima: andando em linha reta, em 5 minutos você chega à Termini, há vários restaurantes gostosos por perto, dá para ir a pé até o coliseu (são uns 20 minutos de caminhada, mais ou menos). Como pontos negativos, eu destacaria: o fato de o banheiro ser muito pequeno, um pouco de desorganização no check in e no check out, a total falta do sinal do wi fi no quarto e o fato de o elevador ser bem velho e à sua vezes não funcionar. Apesar dos pequenos pontos negativos, o hotel tem um bom custo benefício. É bom para quem deseja só uma cama confortável para dormir após perambular muito pelas ruas de Roma.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Buen desayuno pero habitación anticuada - El baño está extremadamente anticuado, la ducha con cortina, el secador de adorno y los azulejos del siglo pasado. Lo mejor el desayuno, tienen un buffet difícilmente mejorable, unas tartas riquisimas y una gran variedad de cosas. El desayuno merece la pena.

• Dennis E (4/5): Cheap digs for a night or two In Roma. - This hotel shares a building with other hotels. It's only 5 or 6 blocks from the Termini main train station and with the A and B lines of the Metro. The rooms are unique with a brick ceiling and nice tile on the walls. Attractive but kind of cold and sterile. Sheets and towels were clean, however. The lobby has a skimpy continental breakfast. The elevator shared with the other hotels looks like it is probably from the 19th century and apparently has never been cleaned. If you're looking for cheap room it will make due. One night and we were happily moving on.

• Lynne (8/5): Ideal Location - Had a great stay in Rome for 3 nights. Location of Relais Stargate is ideal location for Termini Station which provides Metro, bus, airport transfers & rail link for all of Rome. Staff at hotel were very friendly and helpful, room was cleaned & towels replaced every day of our 3 day stay. Initially we were a bit disappointed in condition of hotel (it's a bit drab) but we found it to be comfortable and clean in a good location. If you're looking for luxury it's not for you but for the price it was fine and we've no complaints at all.
• kostas (8/5): value for money hotel! - Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν πολύ καλό! 7 λεπτά από το σταθμό Termini. Εμείς περπατήσαμε και πήγαμε σε όλα τα αξιοθέατα (για όσους αρέσει το περπέτημα και η εξερεύνηση της πόλης). Καθημερινά οροφοκομία που μάζευαν τα απορρίματα. Καταπληκτική εξυπηρέτηση στη ρεσεψιόν! Το πρωινό δεν είχε ποικιλία, αλλά ήταν γευστικό. Στην γύρω περιοχή είχε διάφορα μαγαζάκια για χαλαρή βραδινή έξοδο(ποτό είτε φαγητό). Λίγη φασαρία λόγω του ότι βρισκεται κοντά σε κεντρικό δρόμο, αλλα όχι μεγάλο πρόβλημα. Υπάρχει supermarket περίπου 10 λεπτά με τα πόδια. Value for money!!!!
• ASLI (6/5): Terminiye çok yakın - Hostel standardında olan bu otelin personeli oldukça yardımseverdi. Şehir turu ve birkaç ihtiyacımızı rahatlıkla karşılayabilmemiz için her türlü yardımda bulundular. Yeri terminiye çok yakın olduğundan seyahatinde tren kullanacaklar için oldukça ideal.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Budget hotel with good transport links - The hotel is on a few floors of an old building. It is very basic and breakfast was a pastry and some not very good coffee and/or fruit juice in plastic cups from machines (we ate the first day then went out after that). The TV is small and only in Italian and there are no tea or coffee making facilities, but it was kept quite clean and the cleaners came in every day. We had to move rooms due to a mix up so saw two. The first overlooked an internal courtyard (bit grubby but quiet), the second was onto the street, so better view, but noisier. The area isn't very salubrious, but is very close to the Termini so good for connections to the airport, Metro and buses. Its about a 20m to 30 minute walk to the coliseum. There were a few bars, cafes and restaurants in the area and in the Termini there are also shops and a small supermarket. Overall, it was fine, although it is very "budget". At under £40 per night, it was all we needed.

• Verified traveler (6/5): De kamers waren schoon. Geen luxe - Voor een city trip een prima plek als je niet veel eist, vlak bij het station, metro en bussen. Geen luxe en het ontbijt viel wat tegen. Plastic slappe bordjes en bekers. Zoete broodjes in een kartonnen doos. Wel schone kamer een goede schone douche etc. Voor de prijs een goede plek. Hele oude lift voor max 2 personen maar deed het wel.
