• Phillipa (10/5): Totally wonderful experience staying at Casa Colina, simply outstanding! - We have been lucky enough to travel widely throughout the world, but Casa Colina is probably the most delightful place we have ever stayed. The house is a lovely piece of architecture, tastefully decorated throughout and with some stunning artworks. Our room was large, ultra comfy with a fridge and coffee machine. The swimming pool area is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Brenda and Rick are fantastic hosts serving up delicious and artistically presented breakfast dishes. Nothing, everything was fantastic.

• Gail (10/5): - Casa Colina is a hidden gem that offers quiet relaxation to its guests. 15 minutes from Okanagan Falls makes this home a perfect spot to relax after visiting wineries and fruit stands. Brenda and Rick are culinary masters, preparing a two course breakfast each morning. The family style room allows for visiting with the other guests and comparing notes on what to do in the area. Although we didn’t use the pool, the fenced in pool deck is well equipped with loungers and offers outstanding views of the surrounding mountains. We hope to go back one day.

Elegantly designed and thoughtfully furnished for your enjoyment. Away from the hustle of town, but centrally located with easy access to the areas famous wineries, restaurants and beaches.

We enjoyed the rural and isolated location. Very relaxing and our room was very well appointed with comfortable beds and lovely linens. Our host was friendly and wanted to make sure we had all we needed.

Those darn deer kept wandering through the property but moved faster than I could get my phone to take a photo. That was pretty annoying! Seriously, nothing much could be better. Maybe a couple of slightly more comfortable chairs to sit on outside our door (ground floor room).

Some great trails around if you like biking. Brenda has a great eye for detail and was very welcoming, it felt like visiting a friend (in the best way possible). The pool has some great views and was a fantastic place to chill out. If you’re in the area, definitely pay Casa Colina a visit!

The breakfasts are awesome as is the dinning room setting in which it is served. The couple who run the place couldn’t be any nicer. We loved our stay there and will be back.

In 15-30 minutes, we can get to the great local wineries of OK Falls and Kaleden, or branch out Oliver/Osoyoos, Summerland, and the Naramata Bench. A highlight is the amazing breakfasts that Brenda makes! We are already looking forward to our next visit.

• Susan (10/5): We travel several times a year. By far, this was one of our most memorable getaways. - We stayed a couple of nights and were fortunate to be treated with two gourmet breakfasts. The first, a decedent yogurt, fruit, granola parfait with a delicious breakfast burrito, coffee and orange juice. The second morning, a poached apple, granola and caramel sauce treat with the main, scrumptious poached eggs, coffee and apple juice. Chef and hostess Brenda, you are a fabulous cook!! Hubby Rick a great host also. You are both very personable and truly spoil your guests. The food presentation and ambiance was amazing! The bed n breakfast, a lovely casa located atop a 9 acre treed, private hillside, quiet, relaxing and a bonus pool. The room was very spacious and luxurious. Not a detail was missed. Such a pleasant way to spend our 35 Anniversary. We will be back. Zero complaints. Everything was exceptional. Thank you!

• Jesse (10/5): Amazing hosts and all round perfect getaway! - We spent 3 wonderful nights at Casa Colina in late August and had a wonderful time there. Brenda's breakfasts were phenomenal! 2 courses of gourmet delights that filled you up so much that you were full until suppertime. We found that with the location being a ways out of town, and breakfast being so good, that we would bring food back from town to our room in the late afternoon for supper. We would then eat at our little bistro table outside our french doors and taking in the scenery. The setting was amazing and so quiet and private. Rick was also very interesting to talk to and they both had some great advice about the area. We also enjoyed the deer who wandered the property and didn't really care that we were there at all. The pool was so relaxing and warm and we enjoyed spending quiet time there in the late afternoon. The room was large and well appointed and the bed super comfortable. We wouldn't change a thing.

We were in a natural environment, yet very close to Penticton, where you could access the restaurants, shops and activities of a city environment. Casa Collina was perfect! Nothing.

• Caroline (10/5): Idyllic B&B in beautiful mountain scenery - A beautiful B&B in stunning scenery with the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! Brenda and Jeff have created an idyllic place to stay. It’s a perfect base for exploring the many wineries and mountains in the Southern Okanagan. The pool is an added bonus! it was all fantastic! Note nearest restaurants are 20 minute drive however guests are welcome to “picnic” on their patio or terrace.

Some of the best gravel and road cycling is to be had nearby, and this is a luxurious home base from which we explored. The kitchen has everything we needed and more. • WESSEL KRIEL PROF CORP (6/5): Disappointed !! - High expectations and high ratings with pleasant hostess and creative breakfasts BUT noisy room overhearing people talking and any movements from suite on top of us-all the time!!Cramped bathroom and then shockingly tub-shower---for the price a proper shower and tub is expected.Bedside drawers non functional and threatening to fall out.Storage space cheap IKEA type wiry set up and non functional.Entrance to suite looks like storage for ornaments.Location not ideal as windy road to highway for exploring wine areas.

Owners went to a lot of effort to make our visit special. They know the area very well so lots of good advice on things to do. Real plus was the pool for cooling off and lounging after a day of wine tasting or biking. We will be back.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Hillside gem - Casa Colina is an ideal place to stay if you're looking for a location that's a good hub for exploring wineries in the area. Penticton is only a few minutes away, while the scenic drive to Oliver or Osoyoos takes about an hour -- there are many wineries along the way. The spotless swimming pool is a great respite from the hot Okanagan weather and is a beautiful spot to enjoy the hillside scenery. Breakfast each day was fabulous. The hosts have created tastefully decorated suites that have everything you need.

• Lori (10/5): Absolutely lovely casita in the mountains. - We highly recommend Casa Colina. It was a beautiful place in the mountains. Not far from town. We really felt as though we were on a mini vacation even though we were actually in penticton for a hockey tournament. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely decor, clean and best of all amazing views. Thank you to Brenda for the hospitality. We hope to visit again soon.

The room we stayed in was wonderful with a unique decor You rarely find. The breakfasts were the best ever purely gourment. Just make sure You are hungry! I can't say enough about Casa Colina and Brenda & Rick who were our wondeful Hostess & Host. Can't wait to visit again.

• Barb (10/5): Beautiful Inn in wine country - We stayed at Casa Colina while attending a wedding nearby. The Inn far exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful retreat/ spa experience. Brenda is a fabulous hostess. We plan to return and use it as a base to explore the many wineries nearby. Our room was immaculate. It was beyond clean. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable. We had our own coffee maker and a small fridge. There were robes for us to use. Brenda had put out wine glasses and an opener so we could sample our purchases from the wineries. The breakfast room is lovely. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests (6 of us in all). Each room is very private and quiet. We had the ground floor king room. It was perfect. The Inn is a great find. There are signs directing you to the Inn but it would be tricky to find for the first time at night. It is very secluded ( but close to everything). We were glad we had GPS.
• Pam (10/5): Best Birthday ever! - It was perfect!! From the moment we arrived (a few minutes early!) we fell in love! Brenda was an awesome host, and the cottage was exactly what we expected. It was very private and so cozy and comfortable. It had everything needed in the kitchen to whip up some easy meals, and a BBQ and patio furniture in an outdoor dining area on the front porch. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the back patio, with any amazing view. In the mornings we hiked right from the property on very pretty trails in most directions. Our afternoons were spent lazing by the solar heated pool that had beautiful views too! My husband kept saying "We have to do this at least once every year!!! Ah, OK!!!!
• Jasmine (10/5): Perfect mini-moon at Casa Colina! - Our mini-moon and stay with Brenda and Rick at Casa Colina exceeded all expectations! From our welcome to departure our stay was amazing, Brenda really excels at the little details and made the trip so enjoyable. From taking note of our dietary issues to gifting the newlyweds chocolates to wonderful conversations we really felt so comfortable and at home. Having dietary issues is not an issue at all at Casa Colina! Brenda made sure that I had an amazing meal regardless of the extra trouble it may have caused. And on that note, the breakfasts are so amazing. It was so nice to sit around with the other guests and chat while eating amazing food and drinking great coffee. We stayed in the cottage and it was perfect for a couple on their mini-moon, it was private but you can easily access the pool area and main house. We can't wait to stay at Casa Colina again!
• Shelly (10/5): Very nice quiet location close to many wineries. - We very much enjoyed our stay at this very lovely bed and breakfast. The staff, service and amenities were all excellent. It's in a nice quiet location but only a 10 minute drive to Hwy 97. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to my friends and family.
• Nancy & Bob (10/5): Oasis in the Okanagan - What a delightful surprise to experience this stunning and artistically decorated Spanish style casa, secluded in a peaceful setting with expansive views. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and super comfortable. In addition to a spectacular setting and privacy, we were provided with all the amenities and information we could want and more. Breakfast was a sublime experience in the elegant dining area, as we were pampered with gourmet delights and careful attention was given to our dietary needs and preferences. We would highly recommend this unique accommodation and look forward to returning in the future!!!
• Vasilii (10/5): Solitude perfection - I always wanted to stay in a solitude hotel and Casa Colina is exactly what I needed. Despite the fact that it is very close to the town, it is extremely calm and relaxing, a perfect place to enjoy the sunrise. If I have to describe Casa Colina, I will say perfection. The room was perfectly clean and decorated. I have never stayed in a hotel where I couldn't find any stains and I thought such hotels didn't exist. However, Casa Colina was able to surprise me. And now breakfast - it was delicious! There were 2 courses: fruits and the main dish and it was incredible how they served it. I liked every detail! If you have a chance, you should definitely visit Casa Colina! You will not regret it.
