• Darcy (10/5): Do not hesitate to book this amazing Italian paradise. - Loved everything about this absolutely charming and beautiful property. Maria and Massimo were gracious hosts, welcoming and rightfully proud of their villa. The pool area is gorgeous and quiet- like having a resort all to yourself. The location, close to Cortona, Montepulciano etc. makes it a wonderful base for Tuscany. Cannot recommend Il Trebbio enough. Our stay was much too short. None of us wanted to leave.
• Milena (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful place and property. You just want to come back there. Pampered and cared for in every detail and under the watchful eye of the owners. We had a villa with two terraces at our disposal. In the morning we were woken up by the singing of birds, which accompanied us all day. Breakfast on the terrace among herbs, flowers and well-kept greenery. We were warmly welcomed by the very nice owners. We received Tuscan wine and delicacies as a welcome. The villa is tastefully furnished inside, in the Tuscan style and cared for by the owner. There is everything you need, both in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The villa is very clean and well-kept. Everything is in line with the description and photos, but it looks even better in real life. We felt taken care of and comfortable there and it was a pity to leave. Nothing.

It was almost unbelievable that we found such a wonderful place to stay. It was a great location & I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Tuscany or Umbria region as it was easy to take day trips to so many wonderful places.

Gave us a tour of the grounds and explained how everything worked in the villa. They even had snacks waiting for us. They made everything very easy. The only negative is that the beds were very hard. (Not a negative for everyone).

• Julia (8/5): Relaxing, clean and spacious. - Beautiful grounds, quiet, clean, relaxing. Large house and lovely pool area. There was a lot of furniture in the house, which got in the way a bit. It was difficult to walk anywhere from the property as there were no footpaths.

We had two private patios and a large hedge surrounding us - so we had a complete, illylic mini-villa and grounds to ourselves. Also, the owners were excellent: friendly, welcoming, and wonderful!!! The location was excellent! We had easy access to Cortona proper, but staying at Villa Trebbio was more convenient than staying in that hilltop village because we had easy parking and easy road access to visit other areas of Tuscany. We visited a different lovely hilltop village each day. The shower was tiny, but it was clean and adequate
• Andrew (10/5): Simply paradise! - We had an amazing holiday at Villa Il Trebbio in Cortona, spending 18 days at this wonderful agriturismo. Maria Grazia and Massimo warmly welcomed us and our six-year-old daughter to their beautiful property. The house we stayed in was a typical Tuscan farmhouse with lovely, comfortable bedrooms, cozy living rooms, and a spacious kitchen. The property features stunning olive groves perfect for walks, a refreshing swimming pool, and a charming animal pen where our daughter loved sneaking away to feed the geese. Its location is fantastic, just 7 minutes from the historic center of Cortona and 15 minutes from Lake Trasimeno and surrounding towns. We would gladly come back to visit Maria Grazia and Massimo again. The only negative we had was getting bit by sandflies at the end of our stay when it got warmer. We all ended up with huge welts on our bodies from those. However, the property provided plenty of citronella spirals to burn and insect repellants - we just weren’t quick enough to use those.
• Michael (9/5): A lovely stay in old surroundings near Cortona - A charming Apt in beautiful surroundings. Extremely helpful owners. Some ongoing problems with the central heating (in the cold weather). Again, the owners were very prompt and helpful in getting technicians to try to fix the problem.
• Ginger (10/5): Perfect stay near Cortona. - Characteristic Villa tastefully remodeled. Very clean, comfortable, 3 beds/4baths with extra daybed in the dining room. Well stocked kitchen with a washer (but no microwave). Warm in March with heating -without extra charge for heating. The very best owners who went far above to make our stay perfect! They helped us take our son to a doctor and then to the pharmacy. They were fantastic hosts!! We liked everything! We will have to return in the summer to enjoy the pool area as it was too chilly in March. Don’t hesitate to book here! We will definitely return!

• Marie-claire (10/5): A very special place to stay near Cortona. - Such a beautiful, historic property set in a large park. Lots of room inside and out to spread out, and the apartment is beautifully furnished. We had such a nice welcome from the hosts that we felt like family friends. We really enjoyed the space, and the proximity to nature outside, overall a very peaceful place to stay. We were there in October so we didn't use the pool, but we would love to come back again and enjoy it in the summer.

Multiple types of coffee provided. Close to grocery shopping. Very close to Cortona and we appreciated the excellent restaurant recommendations. A beautiful clean swimming pool with pool loungers allocated to each villa. A private garden for reading and relaxing.

Beautiful grounds and the apartment was luxurious, like staying in someone's home. The hosts were wonderful and helpful and we certainly will return again and again. It wasn't the owner's fault, but our GPS sent us to an incorrect location. Still the owners were able to guide us into the right area.

• Chared (10/5): Exceptional - The place is huge. It felt like having your own villa in your own hacienda. Especially because we were the only guests. The house where we stayed had its own garden and was packed with everything we needed. Beds are comfortable. There were enough towels for our stay and more. The couple who owned the place were very accommodating of our needs. There were cookies, wine, coffee, etc. when we arrived to start up our stay. We loved this place so much that we ended up staying for 10 days. The loft where extra beds were was a bit far from the master's bedroom and it was high so might need some getting used to when you have small children.
