• Ringsby (9/5): We had a great stay in our absolutely stunning apartment. We appreciated the surroundings, beautiful setting and all the - Beautiful apartments. The staff catered to our needs and it was absolutely wonderful to be greeted with a whole box of fresh vegetables and a bottle of wine. When we left we got a handwritten note and a jar of honey which also were really nice gestures that we appreciated. The pool is clean and nice and even though it’s shared we had it to ourselves most of the time. Our kids also enjoyed the swings and slide in the garden. We lacked quite a lot of basic kitchen utensils, such as sharp knives etc. We probably should have asked for it but it seemed a bit odd that a lot of basic things you need to cook was missing. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes so some kind of mosquito candles or similar would have been really really nice. It would also have been very nice to have a bit more outdoor furniture. There was a small table with four seats but since there are four apartments we felt a bit bad sometimes when we had dinner outside and occupying the only table.

• Arabella (10/5): Excellent, comfortable and value for money. - The grounds were beautifully kept and we felt very safe with the gates at the entry to the villas. All the staff from housekeeping to reception to restaurants did their utmost to make our stay an enjoyable one. The service, hospitality and the apartment itself exceed our expectations. Oh, and importantly, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, especially considering earlier experiences in other places in Tuscany. The shower cabin was a bit cramped, moving your arms around you can hit the water handle accidentally. Also, I was uncomfortable in the deckchairs at the pool. At the same I realise these are very personal experiences and did absolutely nothing to diminish my happy experience at Il Borro. Have already and will continue to do so, recommend Il Borro to stay in Tuscany.
• Simon (10/5): Amazing, what a gorgeous place with staff that couldn’t do enough to help you. Fantastic value for money and an amazing - Loved the location, privacy and access to even more facilities. Nothing but packs including fresh dish cloths, tea towels etc would be helpful.

Sometimes it e free like 5-star hotel property forgot about this type of accommodation they had.

• Fitzpatrick (5/5): very overpriced for what you get, they need to spend money on it to bring it up to standard - the living area bed bedrooms were very comfortable. Having access to Il Borro facilities is a huge plus the kitchen was almost unusable and next to no utensils or appliances provided. The pool area was ver unkept and not maintained
• Julia (10/5): we celebrated a night of il our honeymoon here! we were gifted a lovely bottle of Rosé we wish we could’ve stayed longer - everything, the estate was beautiful, the rooms were large and well appointed, the staff was extremely helpful
• Mark (7/5): Comfortable house which needs some maintenance. - Size of house and pool. Park around the house. The main compound of Il Borro. Kitchen needs replacement, especially the fridge and dishwasher (both broken). The house is in a rural area, so bugs are to be expected. But the house was full of beatles, ants and spiders. Also, we had bad weather, and the house is not built for a lot of rain (leakage). Lastly, the showers were broken (dripping and slightly blocked drainage). Maintenance crew acknowledged the problems and promissed to close the house for extensive repairs in kitchen en bathrooms before renting it out again.
