And great to look down on Tangier bay and sea front. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine and complementary snacks. Then a tasty club sandwich and local spicy chicken wraps with well stocked side salads. Bang on for a chilled out late lunch after shopping and touring round the Kasbah and Medina. Well priced too. Muy54 (6/5): Better choose another hotel - I wrote my notes earlier and not of Hilton rate hotel. We had a snoring neighbor and this was audible via wall. The emergency stairs door was locked and not possible to get out through stairs, stairs were unclean and everywhere were cigarette-buts.

We only needed a place to stay for the night and when we wandered into breakfast, we found paradise. So many breads, cheeses, olives, pastries, plus eggs. We are still talking about this breakfast.

On my Birthday I had a floral arrangement, and rose petals placed on the bed saying Happy Birthday. It was a really lovely and something which made the trip even more special. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of options. If I come back to Tangier, I would definitely stay here again.

TJamal (10/5): Good location near the train station - The hotel is located across the street facing the Tanger Villa train station. The hop off/on bus line is across the street from the hotel. There is a shopping mall located next to the hotel, and there is a supermarket in the lower level. Breakfast was not included in our stay, so no comment there. The train station has a few ATMs so, that worked out for us. The hotel staff friendly the location is why we booked here. The hotel is somewhat dated.

Hajar’s kindness and energy stood out so much that she became a big part of what made our trip feel unique and personal. Alongside her, Hafsha and Zainab added to the wonderful dining experience with their friendliness and care. Nomadic1310 (4/5): Mixed Review - I never had a mixed feedback or emotion as much as I have towards this hotel and my stay at Hilton Tangier city center. I arrived for check in and was informed room is not ready so I decided to have lunch at the terrace on top. Came back checked in all fine then HK lady opens my room without knocking and said sorry I have the room vacant on my system. I was watching TV and suddenly tv switched off and on again with guest welcome message with totally different name. I went downstairs and spoke with FO manager his name is Hosseini and he is one of a delighted and really appreciate his professionalism. I wanted to go to the pool which is the smallest pool I’ve ever seen in my life. There was only 1 Sun-bed and by the time I went to ask for towel someone came and just sat there . Surprisingly they allow outsiders to come use the pool. The pool attendant wasn’t friendly at all and he doesn’t speak English and of course there was lack of communication. They ran out of towels and had to wait for 15 mins. The room itself is amazing and comfortable and o enjoyed it and the restaurant for breakfast and the team are. We nice and friendly also the quality of food from on room dinning was amazing. I am Hilton Honors member and I booked the stay on their application and it was showing on the app few days after check out I can’t find my stay and points weren’t credited to my account. I reach to Hilton customer care and the reply was to my surprise the points weren’t credited to a different account which I am not aware of. I called the hotel the lady answered in French I asked her to either speak English or Arabic she again replied in French and when I insist to speak either English or Arabic she got very irritated and was talking in a very aggressive manner. Then she transfer me to Guest relation and o spoke with Ms Aman who is also a delight to speak with and she was very understanding and helpful. Apparently someone from the hotel on the day of my check in created another Hilton honors account and transferred my stay to that account and the points weren’t credited there. That person used my full name and added an I at the end of my family name. I am not sure why would they do that. I am a hotelier myself and have been in the business for 25 years and never encountered such thing. This honestly left me very disappointed with the experience at this hotel and broke the trust with the brand unfortunately. Again Amna was very professional solving the problem and my points were credited back to my account with additional 5000 points as a good well gesture. However the trust with the hotel is kind of broken.

The hotel is relatively new, with modern facilities and a sumptuous breakfast that sets the tone for the day. The swimming pool on the 13th floor is a highlight — beautiful, with stunning views over the city. It can get a bit crowded at times, as day-use access is allowed, but the atmosphere remains pleasant. Staff are attentive and professional, adding to the overall positive experience.

Harfssa brought us traditional Moroccan breakfast dishes to try and was super attentive - one of the best waitresses we have ever had! The staff was accommodating of a late check out request, allowed us to still access the lounge after checkout while waiting for our taxi, and assisted with booking and adjusting multiple taxi rides. Everyone was lovely and treated us like royalty

The hotel staff were, without exception, superb and did everything possible to make my wife feel special. The hotel itiself is located next to the train station wth easy access to other Moroccan cities. The views from the breakfast on the 15th floor extend all the way to Spain. She made our stay very enjoyable. Salmane at breakfast was also very helpful. Ordered dinner from room service a couple of times, delicious authentic food. The hotel I feel caters more for business people, and has a strong European feel than Moroccan, but good for a quiet, short stay as we wanted. Would recommend.

The hotel is modern, well maintained, and in a great location, but what truly made our stay memorable was the hospitality we received especially during breakfast. Each morning, we looked forward to the breakfast not just for the delicious variety of food, but because of the warm and friendly service from Youssra. She greeted us with a big smile, always came by to ask if we needed anything, and made sure we were well taken care of. Her kindness and attentiveness created a homely and welcoming atmosphere that truly stood out. A big thank you to Youssra for making our mornings so enjoyable, your hospitality was exceptional! I find it regrettable that the executive lounge was relocated from the 13th floor down to the lobby level, in fact it's almost a part of the lobby area now, which makes it a little noisy sometimes. But the staff makes up for this inconvenience, be it Mr. Abdelkader, the GM, Mr. Yassine, the doorman, Mr. Reda, the lounge barrista, or the receptionist Miss Salma. In fact, all the staff members were very friendly, helpful and responsive to all our requests. This property remains my preferred choice for accommodation in Tangiers.

Tours were so easy to book through reception and drivers were fantastic (thanks so much Ashraf and Sefiani!). Views from the pool and bar were spectacular, my room was great and being able to walk to the train station was perfect. Would highly recommend the Hilton Tangier.

The shower cabin glass door is wrong installed and water flows to the bathroom floor- this needs to be definitely reinstalled (pls rise it so that it sits on the threshold. The WC door hinges are in dust and dirt and the door opens with force. No brush in WC room. Not a single instruction in English - unable to set the air conditioning. Signs in ENglish missing. Breakfast is OK, but teaspoons are of plastic.

liveandlove2travel (10/5): Comfortable stay. - We completed a 3 night stay at this property. Parking was easy - right at the front door. The lobby is spacious and inviting. Check in staff was so friendly and gave us a great upgrade (HH Diamond members.) The rooms are a little dated but clean. We had such a comfortable stay that we increased the stay from 2 nights to 3. Breakfast is nice and varied. The staff throughout the hotel is professional, friendly and helpful. The executive lounge is on the ground level and is a great spot for evening snacks and drinks! The front desk staff was helpful on multiple occasions to book appointments for us or help with other logistics. All in all I would recommend this property for a comfortable stay!

uk_hotel_expert (8/5): Friendly chaos - There are a lot of good things to say about the hotel - location is one of them (about as close to the train station as possible, although the Hilton Garden Inn is also very close). The room comfort is also good with a comfy bed and amenities including free/fast Wifi. The worst thing is that the rooms are not particularly well acoustically isolated - you'll hear the neighbouring shower or conversations quite easily. Undoubtedly the best feature is the staff - warm and welcoming. That's not easy to achieve these days! Ten out of ten for friendliness. However, there is an element of chaos about the place. Staff who look and act like they don't know what they're doing. If you're unlucky like me then there is a chance of a group tour cramming up the restaurant buffet and subsequently ruining the experience. During my stay the pool was closed (shame, no advance notice)..and the buffet dinner (half board) didn't happen on my second night due to Eid. The upside on the food was that it was excellent so I'd have no hesitation about taking a food option again. Just watch the drinks - a small bottle of mineral water is not included in the meal plan and will set you back 70 dirham (c.£5.5). This hotel could have easily scored five stars if it was a bit more organised and if I had stayed on a different date.

Fabulous view at breakfast. Comfortable beds and fantastic soundproofing to the street (I couldn’t hear the traffic). Opposite the train station so exactly what I was looking for. Around the corner from a beautiful beach and shopping and restaurants everywhere. Short taxi ride to the Old Town. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended

davidevans1954 (10/5): Excellent hotel - Very conveniently located across the road from the main train station, on a relatively quiet, spacious square, we just wheeled our cases across from the station to the hotel. The check in staff were lovely, welcoming, cheerful, very professional. The lobby was airy, spacious; an inviting space, with comfortable sofas and art work, and a tea and coffee area. The bedroom was excellent all round. Roomy, light and airy with a huge window, with quality, fully fitting curtains. The bed was very, very comfortable. The room was very clean and well maintained with attractive decor and nice artwork on the walls, and above all the room was so quiet. I am always anxious about hotel bedrooms, as I am a light sleeper, and prefer minimum noise. Our bedroom was so quiet. Hardly any noise from outside the building or adjacent rooms could be heard. Internally the hotel corridor was wide and thickly carpeted, and the bedroom door was heavy and of a quality build, and it never slammed because of the well designed closing mechanism, which caused it to latch closed with a quiet click. Consequently, noise from other doors closing was minimal and you could hardly hear anyone in the corridor. So good. The gym was clean and well maintained The nice buffet breakfast was in a top floor restaurant which again was light and airy with expansive views. We couldn t fault this hotel, and were so happy we decided to choose it.
David (10/5): - Difficult to fault this excellent hotel. Located very conveniently across the road from the main rail station in an open, spacious square that was not busy with traffic or people. The staff were helpful, welcoming, friendly. very professional. The room was perfect, being roomy, very quiet, with large airy windows, comfortable bed, very clean and in immaculate condition with contemporary, tasteful decor including nice artwork touches. I don't always sleep very well in hotel bedrooms, as I am a light sleeper and prefer absolute quiet. The design and noise insulation in the bedroom was such that we heard almost no noise from either outside, or adjacent rooms or the corridor. Wide, thickly carpeted corridors coupled with well designed quality bedroom doors, that closed very quietly and softly onto the latch, ensured hardly any noise from adjacent doors slamming or talking people in the hotel corridor. Breakfast was in a lovely rooftop restaurant with expansive views. The gym was well maintained and spotless. Excellent all round.

Convenient to everywhere we wanted to go and a huge bonus is that it's just across the road from Tanger Ville, which really worked for us. We had to leave super early so the staff ensured we had a breakfast box for two for our journey. They also organised a taxi for us at a great price. Great porters and security, too and a great girl on reception who gave great shopping advice (I wish I took her name). Very pleased. Will stay here again next time we're in Tanger.

Muslimah100 (6/5): Ambient but no warm hottub - We chose this hotel as with a 1 year old we wanted something with alittle more space and facility then a riad. We also selected this property as it was one of the very few with a heated hot tub on the terrace - however after booking and arriving we soon realised the heated hot tub was not warm and due to the winds it was rather cold- maybe it could benefit from a cover on the hottub like in england to maintain the heat. Also the terrace area looked nothing like in the pics as they class febuary as off season. However for us uk people at 22 degrees we would have appreciated some facility on the rooftop as it was still quite warm. One major drawback to this hotel was the lack of a dressing table mirror in the room. The only mirrored space was in the foyer area as you enter. This was dissapointing as usually even at a basic hotel the mirror is a must. Hotel brekky was of high quality however not much choice maybe that is the usual in tanger, however in comparison to dubai or turkey etc the range is very small. Also the communication is very poor so when requesting certain dishes it was difficult to explain. Overall the hotel was clean and tidy and they were very friendly.

Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Hilton Tanger City Center Hotel & Residences left me profoundly disappointed and frustrated. What Went Wrong During my stay from January 11–14, 2025, I encountered serious issues when I needed a reliable internet connection for important business meetings. On January 13, after experiencing connection problems, I reached out to the hotel’s IT department for help. That’s when Rachid Jaouhar, the IT manager, got involved. Instead of resolving the issue, he took actions I’ve never seen before in any hotel: - intentional Sabotage: He changed my laptop’s network settings in such a way that it completely lost internet connectivity. - Lack of Communication: I sent him urgent messages via WhatsApp, including evidence of what had happened, but he simply left the conversation without a word. - An Admitted Mistake: When I confronted him in person, he shockingly admitted that he had deliberately left my laptop in a non-functional state because he felt “disrespected.” This wasn’t a mere technical glitch—it was an act that directly hindered my ability to work and attend critical meetings. The Hotel Management’s Response After the incident cost me several key business opportunities and significant financial losses (estimated at over $100,000), I reported the issue to the hotel management. Here’s how they handled it: - Achraf Kamel (General Manager): Remained silent, showing no sign of taking responsibility. - Samra Herrar (Front Desk Manager): Offered generic apologies but nothing that addressed the problem. - Yassine Heddane (Senior Staff Member): Also avoided directly confronting the misconduct. The only person who initially acknowledged the gravity of the situation was the nearby Hilton Garden Inn General Manager, who agreed that Rachid’s behavior was completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, after that brief moment of support, she, too, stopped responding to my concerns. Instead of holding the IT manager accountable, the hotel tried to pass off the issue as a routine internet problem, ignoring the deliberate sabotage and its serious consequences. Corporate Response Hoping for a resolution, I escalated the matter to Hilton Corporate’s Executive Office. I was shocked by their response: - Kimberly Crnkovich (Executive Ambassador, Hilton Corporate): Responded with a generic statement, explaining that Hilton “does not manage hotel operations,” effectively shifting responsibility back to the hotel management. - Despite multiple follow-ups and unmistakable evidence, Hilton Corporate refused to arrange a live discussion to address the issue. Final Thoughts The deliberate actions by a member of the hotel’s staff not only caused me severe financial losses but also damaged essential business relationships. For any business traveler who relies on dependable, professional service, this experience raises serious concerns about Hilton Tanger City Center’s commitment to guest care and professionalism. I sincerely hope Hilton takes immediate corrective action. Until then, I advise fellow business travelers to exercise caution when considering this property.

The majority of the staff are always respectful and attentive, making my stays enjoyable each time. One person who really stood out this visit was Salmane at breakfast. His service was absolutely outstanding—attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s the little touches like this that really set this hotel apart from others. I’ll definitely be returning in the future and look forward to another great experience!
Muhammad Mobin (10/5): Best hotel in the city! - This hotel was just simply amazing! From the check-in service and lovely staff to the comfortable rooms and lobby decor. The breakfast variety was terrific as well and had some amazing customer service. Really handy gym and sauna facilities however the pool was not heated unfortunately so not useable in December. Outside the hotel the beach was walking distance and also a mall underneath the hotel which was very convenient and so was the train station opposite it. No negatives whatsoever!

Most of all I loved the staff! They were extremely accommodating. I have severe claustrophobia and needed someone in the elevator with me at all times. They made sure that I was never alone in the elevator. They went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that I felt safe and secure during my entire 8 days. I will definitely be back to Tangier and will stay at this hotel.

Breakfast has lots of variety. Many restaurants nearby. Connected to a mall. There is a Hop on Hop off bus stop right across the street. Some things to note: the bed is firm, but comfortable. The laundry facilities are a sent out service. There is no on site laundry, but there is a bathtub if you want to hand wash.

Kyle (10/5): Nice Place to be based out of during our trip - Very nice area downtown, Breakfast and dinner restaurant on the 12th floor had a nice view of the harbor and beach. Nice area as the upscale mall, is part of the building. Beds were very comfortable and hotel was modern, had a decent size gym with all the essentials.

However it was closed for time we were there due to repair work, which was hugely disappointing for my kids. The information that the pool will be closed wasn't disclosed at the time of booking the hotel. I asked for a partial refund which was denied. So not very helpful service in case there is an issue.
