I didn't eat there but saw the buffet when I was leaving and heard people discussing it - like they really enjoyed the food. My room was not super clean. The second bed in the room had a dirty comforter and the mirror above my desk was not clean. I made me wonder how clean the room was over all but I was only there for 2 nights. I didn't have anyone come and clean since I had to work in the hotel most of the day that I was there. There also wasn't really a comforter - it was like a light thing blanket.

stevewL7629YB (8/5): Good stay with small things needing addressed - Over all a good experience, just had a lamp that didn't work and the toilet had staining. The dining area is not the best layout and was congested. The pool and hot tub area was clean but the bathroom door didn't have a lock. The bathroom door in the room doesn't have locks either. The bathroom light is on a timer that shuts off when you are in the shower. But over all a good stay.

Shakita (9/5): - The facility exceeded my expectations, particularly because of the price. Usually, "you get what you pay for" as many like to say. This wasn't the case at the Drury Plaza. Moreover, the staff was friendly and insightful. The room and facility was exceptionally clean. I've stayed in many hotels with similar pricing and this was by far the cleanest. The factor of good customer service is clearly understood. One of the biggest attractions was the complimentary breakfast and dinner. There are also other pleasantries, but I did not partake in them. Overall, book with Drury. Every factor aligns with thoughts of you in mind. I believe that you will enjoy your stay! The only thing that I did not like (but understood) was the choices of food during the complimentary meal times. I do not eat pork or beef. So, it limited my options for the entree. There really wasn't an alternative. Otherwise, the food was well prepared.

AlyceS290 (10/5): Beautiful hotel, great stay for anyone traveling through town. - We booked this hotel with our dog on our way to Mississippi to do some dog training. We stopped because we needed a 1/2 way stopping point that was dog friendly. It was the best idea every. the price point was great. the room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. It was big enough for us to put up our dog crate. The Kick Back and Breakfast were lovely. The only thing we would ask it that the pet fee be conditional on the state of the room. We do not let our dog on the furniture. it is in a crate in the room. We bring special, waterproof bed covers for the beds just incase they should hop onto a bed. We usually sleep onto of the bed covers and bring our own blanket so we don't even sleep in the hotel beds. An additional $30 cleaning fee for the dog who basically comes in the room, into his crate and then leaves to go to truck seems unfair. Could the rooms be assessed before we leave and a decision made as to the state? I'm 100% sure we leave the room cleaner than people with children.
Smith (5/5): We appreciate the kickback offer at hotel, but at least offer other beer choices. - good except fake eggs. Beer offered at 5:30 kickback was terrible. None of our group drinks bud light and local beer was terrible. Most of our travels at Hampton Inns etc offer other beers. We always meet at hotel lobby for drinks and to discuss the day and tomorrows schedule. Our group usually is 10-15 guys and they won't stay again if the only beer is bud light!!

Noise level in the room was quiet until the elevator would land and then it was so loud it startled me several times through the night so sleep was nearly impossible.

TravelWithSara (10/5): Great stay With Drury Hotel & Conference Center In Cape Girardeau - I had reserved my room on Expedia and when I went to check in the front desk clerk apologized for my booking, as all King rooms had been sold, which I had booked. He immediately told me that I would need to be upgraded to a Queen suite- I had zero problems with this, and was ecstatic to have a room for the evening. The room was clean, quiet, and my stay was what I would expect with Drury- exceptional!
