Dragging bags for over 70 year olds was not easy and it didn’t help it was pouring rain. Not enough outlets located in room for our electrical outlet needs. Also value of stay certainly not worth the charge.

Parking included The furniture is very old and beat up. chairs were rocky. I debated as to whether we wanted to be there because I expected better. The view was of the parking lot . I expected more of a kitchenette set up and you had to unplug something to plug in something else in . Coffee selection was poor

• Luiz Roesch (1/5): - The bed was infested with bed bugs. It took me some time to realize the source of the bites, but by the third night, there was no doubt. The lady at the front desk insisted it was just mosquitoes, but she was wrong. I have a PhD in biology, and I can say with certainty that mosquito bites and bed bug bites are markedly different in pattern, appearance, and reaction, though it's not necessary to go into all the details.

Tub had large patch inside it. Poorly patched at that. Get what you need before going to the island. Limited access to food and drinks for the room sent us off the island to find a grocery store. Have to pay toll each time you leave and return.

We could have stayed on the 1st floor however chose the second, preferring more lighting. Overall, loved it Lack of ease to get to 2nd floor. But not a game changer. We will be back

• Jessica (10/5): - Nice hotel located close to bridge. Staff was very friendly & the room was great! Only thing I could comment on regarding upgrade is for property to get an elevator. My mom had an injured ankle & it was difficult for her to get up and down the stairs.

• Timothy (10/5): - This is a much older place. Not impressive, but the overall condition on the rooms and property are very good. The staff is outstanding! Helpful and courteous. We felt very comfortable and welcomed! Rooms and bathroom are very clean!!! If someone smokes, there’s private balconies on the 2nd floor to stand out, without having to go to the court yard. We went to Gasparilla Beach. Had a great day relaxing. Water was the perfect temperature, combined with a consistent cool breeze, and private. I highly recommend Boca Grade Hotel for a pleasant and safe stay.

I will definitely stay here again next time I visit! They have a pool and easy access to the shops and restaurants on the island. Kappys next door has all you need to help make your stay more like home.
• William (10/5): Great staff, nice place to stay. - Loved the staff, room was very clean and well sized. Needed a sofa or something as well to sit on. The hotel did not inform me the pier had been destroyed by the recent hurricanes. The entire point of coming down to this hotel was to fish that pier. Without it I wasted quite a few days trying to determine a place I was legally able to fish. Not to mention worth fishing.
