Kelkel90 (8/5): Warm and welcoming stay. - The owners are kind and welcoming. Love the St. Bernard! We had dinner in their on site restaurant and it was fantastic. Very warm hospitality. The cleaning lady was great. She was working so hard to get the rooms cleaned and ready. Snacks and drinks offered in the lobby were extensive! The rooms are a little worn. Maybe some new bedspreads....The chairs outside out front of the rooms should probably be thrown out and new ones brought in.

Maureen (8/5): Enjoyable - We paid to upgrade to family cabin. We didn't need the space but it gave us a more sheltered outdoor area. We had some issues with lighting that they tried to correct. The room was a bit worn. The restaurant made our stay totally worth it. The owner is the chef and he made delicious food for dinner and cooked us omelette in the morning. The cabin was a bit worn.

Room was adequate but dated. Pictures looked newer and more comfortable than reality. Hostess was friendly and provided great information.

It was quiet enough for easy conversation. Our room was quiet with a comfortable bed. The staff were cheery and available. Our room was small and lacked a dresser. It was fine for sleeping, but not a place to linger.

James (10/5): - This was a well kept motel that looks like a classic motel from the 50's or 60's. There are three rooms inside the main building, and the rest are log cabin type rooms. They give you actual keys to the door of your room. It is a small operation and we loved staying there. There is a cute restaurant/bar with tables inside and out. The guests we met said the foot was very good. We had eaten before we arrived so did not get to try it. There is a grab-and-go breakfast which is the usual pastries, yogurt, cereal, bagels, etc. When we showed pictures of the motel to my granddaughter she said, "I want to stay there. I always wondered what it was like in the 1990s." The tv streaming service was poor and kept freezing, but we did not watch much. We stayed one night. If I was passing through again I would definitely stay there.

Philip (8/5): Almost 5 stars. - The lodge is a wonderful place to stay. This was our 4th time staying there. The dining area is beautiful and the food is awesome. The reason for only 4 stars was the beds. Unlike our previous visits, room 5 had pretty uncomfortable beds. The sofa bed was barely bearable.

Joanne (7/5): - Nice to have on site restaurant. Breakfast bar was welcome and adequate. Air conditioning was not very effective and could not cool the room. Difficult to secure curtains for privacy around the air conditioner. Room was much smaller than expected and was challenging to move around.
Bersabhe (10/5): - I loved it! Many people had warned me that Idaho isn’t very diverse and that we might be treated in a closed-off way. But the beautiful lady (I think she might be the owner) was incredibly kind. My EV needed charging, and she not only let me use an outlet but also offered me a convenient parking spot nearby. The place itself is beautifully designed—cozy and full of family vibes.

panneoleary (10/5): Charming lodge in beautiful northern Idaho - I stayed in the king cabin with a jacuzzi tub. The room was well appointed with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a very comfy bed. The lodge offers a complimentary continental breakfast and has a restaurant for dinner. The staff was very welcoming. I will definitely stay here again.

William (10/5): - Check-in was quick and easy. The host was friendly and overall nice. The room was clean. The AC was on when I came in which was nice since it was so hot out. A couple of things though. No small table next to or in front of the couch. The couch was very comfortable however. The TV was too high on the wall imo, but did swivel to view from the couch to the bed.

Steve (7/5): Good - The rustic log cabin decor The restaurant was closed. Breakfast was limited with no microwave, waffle machine, or meat items. For the price of the motel, we hoped for a bit better selection of food.
Timothy (6/5): So, so hotel. - Disappointing, multiple patched paint areas around ceiling, filthy bath fan, stained carpet near room door, wall gouges in numerous locations. Mattress was basic hotel quality, room lights located located only on wall by pull out loveseat, no room darkening curtains…only louvred blinds over windows letting a LOT of light in from on outside light right above the window. Worst problem was desk clerk trying to charge me 2 additional times, for the room which had ALREADY been paid in advance during the reservation on Hotels.com…I even signed on to my Citi Bank account and showed her the charge had already been paid…and she STILL wanted to charge me AGAIN! Ridiculous, is the only way I can describe it!
Holly (9/5): I would choose to stay here again anytime I need accommodations in Bonners Ferry, ID - The location was very easy to find. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. This was a return stay for me, so I wanted to stay here again, as I was very pleased the last stay here. It's a quiet location and I very much appreciate that it is. Unfortunately, meals were not being served at the time of my stay, as the cook was recovering from a serious health issue, and was not able to work the kitchen. While I was given a room upstairs in the main lodge, I was grateful that I could climb the stairs, as this place does not have an elevator. They were very helpful is assisting me with my luggage so I didn't have to carry my bags up the flight of stairs. Other than that, the accommodations were excellent.

Alan (4/5): - We stayed in the cabin unit, which was really a duplex. Nice unit, everything we needed. Noticed they had chairs and an ashtray right out front between the units, but since the other unit was vacant we lucked out. Air conditioner was inadequate for the space, super hot until early morning!
