• Richard (9/5): Quiet, very comfortable and lovely hostess. - Super warm welcome from hostess Gabrielle, very comfortable bed with good linens, in large room, a tiny bit dated perhaps, but very clean and had an excellent sleep, very quiet. Superb breakfast with homemade cakes plus croissants, fruit cereal and freshly squeezed orange juice, tea, coffee etc. Their restaurant has been closed since 2025, but there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance and lots in Catanzaro town, a short drive away. Overall an excellent nights stay, would definitely recommend.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Even if staff was available for any request, basic stuff were missing when arriving in the flat (wifi code, explanation for the kitchen devices like use of switcher for the stove).the flat is quite dark (dark brown color and curtains for small window and poor lighting). The kitchen was poorly equipped. No mosquito screen on windows (while a lot of mosquitos there). The outdoor furniture could be better (no cushion, very few pieces)

• Fizio (9/5): - Ho soggiornato in questa struttura in coppia, l'account è di mio papà ma eravamo io e il mio ragazzo. Ci siamo trovati veramente benissimo, la posizione è ottimale a solo 25 minuti di macchina da Soverato e 20 da Pietragrande. La casetta è molto carina, c'è la possibilità di parcheggiare lì e soprattutto la host è stata davvero super disponibile e gentile. Addirittura noi per risparmiare non avevamo incluso la colazione adattandoci per conto nostro e lei, vedendo due ragazzi, ha compreso la situazione e si è proposta per offrircela gratuitamente. Abbiamo molto apprezzato :)

The owner made a beautiful breakfast, pastries, ceral, cappuccino & a delicious cake straight from the oven to the table.

Our room was extremely spacious and well appointed, very comfortable bed and a view over the garden. Breakfast was delicious with home made cakes and the famous Mulberry Jam!

The host (Gabriella) was also very friendly and really helpful with info about local attractions and restaurants. The rooms were large with good quality furniture and a big comfy bed.There is free parking on site. We aim to return in the autumn.

• Cindy (10/5): Exceptional - We had a delightful stay at early April. The BBuSS exceeded our expectations in a small town. The home is lovely and well appointed, yet comfortable like home. Our rooms were spacious, and the bed was perfect. My husband’s family were from Calabria and he and his sister wanted to trace where their grandparents from on this trip. Gabriella is a gracious host and chef. She and Alberto served a traditional Calabria dinner for us that remind my husband and his sister so much about their parents. Of cause, the breakfasts were fantastic. We started with a gourmet Italian homemade bakery and cappuccino every morning. It was a memorable 3 days stay.

Great place to visit Calabria, very close to Catanzaro so in the centre of the region. plus you avoid all the traffic of the city. Parking no problem. Gabriella, the owner was so kind to give us so much great tips where to go and her pastries for breakfast where divine!! Nothing really, everything was fine and as described.
