Guest Reviews
- Karina (8/5): - The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a small table and kitchenette that were very convenient. The location is excellent—only a short walk from the train station, grocery stores, and a bakery. It’s easy to reach the main attractions in Paris. Excellent value for money.
- Jacques (10/5): - The place was clean, it offered everything for a traveller
- Rima-Aroa (8/5): - Room was very clean & spacious. Comfy bed and e
- maya (8/5): - The hotel was a nice place to stay for a couple of nights. It was a 45 minute walk from montmartre which we enjoyed. The area is okay, but not the best. Overall we had a good experience staying here!
- Roberto (6/5): Where’s the bathroom soap? - Only complaint is we were never provided the refill for the bathroom shower soap dispenser despite repeated requests.
- Hitesh (4/5): Bad Service - Room was not that much clean, AC was not working and sliding door of bathroom was damaged.
After informing to hotel receptionist, no one came to fix these issues
- Verified traveler (8/5): Would recommend - Pleasant place to stay. Location is very good, with easy to access public transport and nearby supermarkets and cafes.
- Susan (10/5): - Great place to stay and explore the outer suburbs of Paris. Public transport very close and shopping a 2-minute walk.
Staff friendly and amenities offered for room size adequate for stay.
Laundry onsite was so accommodating, washers/dryers and irons
Would stay again
- Kristy (8/5): - The staff member at check in was helpful. it was easy to get a spot in the secure carpark. There were lifts at the hotel which was convenient. There was air conditioning which kept the apartment cool enough to be comfortable in summer. The apartment had a great amount of space for a family of four, and train and bus stations were close by. There was a bit of a musty smell in the bathroom, and you could hear trains going past. For the price, it was a great stay and you could get anywhere around the city using public transport options.
- Yu (6/5): - Room size is big,but not clear
- Sheshacharya (10/5): - Great place and close to market
- Kun (10/5): Really good one - I liked everything there
- Lauren (10/5): - Clean and Public Transportation Accessible
- Preetesh (6/5): - The property was clean. The air conditioning did not work and it was pretty hot in Paris
- Hung (8/5): - Everything ok
- Richard (10/5): - The hotel is in a ethnic area composed mainly of people from North Africa and the middle east. The staff in the hotel who are all North African are some of the nicest, most wonderful and helpfull people I have ever met !
We stayed for 32 days and had a great experience with thw wonderfull staff.
- Yves (8/5): Service aux chambres - Pour le prix, j’aurais souhaité que le service au chambre soit plus élevé.
- christine (10/5): - I stayed on a quiet room facing the parking lot. Grocery,Bus stop and subway just near by
- Stella Ann (10/5): - We had a room on the 6th floor facing the city. We enjoyed the Eiffel Tower light show each night, and Sacré Coeur was lit up also. The room suited us perfectly. Minor maintenance issues but we didn't bother addressing them. We felt safe in the area and enjoyed being so close to the metro.
- Marian E (10/5): - This hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is located in a part of Paris with many African immigrants and, while the sidewalks are quite dirty, we never felt unsafe.
- Sandra (10/5): - Everything was excellent
- Tyler (2/5): - When we first got there the person at the front desk was so horrible, I think there was a bit of a language barrier but he also was clearly lying at some points about what rooms were available and trying to upsell us other rooms, it was a very stressful event that we didn’t want to deal woth
- Fynn (10/5): - The area was a bit rough hit you would get that anywhere outside of the centre, good staff, very nice clean rooms
- Stefano (10/5): - Nice room in a convenient location at a reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay, especially the small kitchen was very handy and had everything we needed.
- Vasudev (10/5): - Front desk checked us in 3 hrs early which was really nice as we flew in all night. It is next to RER station (2 min walk) and one can visit all places in Paris. Morning breakfast is good. There are few dishes which can be used for cooking. There is Lidil( 2 minutes) and Aldi(10 minutes) for grocery items. Just be cautious walking in the night.
- Oscar (4/5): - The location was sketchy at best, hard to get more supplies for the room, no good ventilation and very tight for a group of 4.
- P da (6/5): Good stay, but a little dated - We had a very kind receptionist to welcome us. The property itself is very dated, but very clean inside. The balcony was quite dusty, so we could not use it. They have a very good parking area. Beds are comfortable. It is located very close to a station.
- Chris (8/5): - Staff was very helpful. While the room obviously had some general wear and tear, it was nonetheless clean and tidy upon our arrival. We would definitely consider staying here again for a weekend trip.
- Sylvie (8/5): - The 2 of the employee was very rude. They don't know how to talk to the guest.
- Regina (8/5): - Everything was okay, but they have some details that shouldn’t. The staff doesn’t speak english properly, they don’t clean the room if you stay less than 5 nights and they don’t have an iron to take to your room.
- Laura (2/5): Wouldn’t recommend - Good - Could see sacre couer + eiffel tower from room, wifi worked
Bad - Everything else. The safe, bathroom door, and toilet flush were broken and didn’t get fixed until the third day of the trip. We asked the front desk multiple times from the first day when they would be fixed and got the response of an eye roll and “tomorrow”. My partner complained to the manager who responded by shouting and belittling us - how he’s the manager i don’t understand. There was another group who happened to be checking out and putting a complaint in for a broken fridge at the same time as us speaking to the manager - he also argued with her and told her to “stop crying” even though she wasn’t. The next day he sheepishly offered us a free breakfast to apologise and said he was having a “bad day”…… clearly he’s in the wrong job.
The hotel is also in a very sketchy area, so i would reconsider if you’re thinking of booking here and are a woman/NB. My partner and i were followed back by a man on the metro. The hotel is also directly next to the metro line so not great for noise.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice apartment style with kitchen aircon is dicey - Was great to have a kitchenette was able to cook some of my own meals for breakfast and dinner to cut down on expenses. Only real complaint was the air conditioner, I could blow more air out of a straw than what came out of the vents and what did come out didn’t feel cold. Advised the front desk and he explained just flip the fan switch to bottom and turn knob to left and wait about an hour. Left it that way for 5 days and it didn’t make a difference. Fortunately I had a room on the street side and not the train side of the building so I could open the windows and get a breeze in. The street side is noisy even after midnight so may want to bring ear plugs if you have to open the windows. Comes with pots, pans, plates, cups, silverware and a bag with dish soap towel and detergent. RER train station is a block up the street and a local supermarket is a block in the other direction
- David (8/5): - Only one staff was rude and noise from train near by, otherwise, it would be a good place to stay
- Osaro (10/5): - The hotel was nice, just as I expected. The staff were friendly. It was about a minute's walk to the train station and a ride away from Gare du Nord!
- Desmond (6/5): - The location was great, just minutes away from Rosa Parks metro station. The property is modern but a little used. A few of the wall skirtings were broken. Having a kitchenette with cooking utensils was a nice addition. Would be better if the towels were changed daily — they will only clean your room (and I assume replace the towels) if you stay 7 nights or more.
- David (4/5): - Nothing to say, it’s dirty and noisy
- Heeyoung (6/5): - Overall not friendly.
- Kamal (10/5): - Nice staff and property.
- Yohana (10/5): - It was amazing and the workers were extremely kind and friendly. The location was amazing and I felt extremely comfortable during my stay.
- mahmud ziya (8/5): - We were happy to stay in this property, it is so close to our doughter’s dorm.
- Abiodun (10/5): - Very good
- Edith (10/5): - Very nice place and near a train station and subway.
The breakfast was very good
- Malick Alembert (8/5): - Besides the fact that you only get room service once a week, it’s a pretty decent place to stay at.
- Simon (10/5): - This apartment is perfect for a family. You can cook if you want to. Sofa bed was a decent size. Extremely convenient for station and travel to do sightseeing in Paris. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast good.
- Thierry (8/5): - Good location near everything very nice front desk employee
Will recommended
- NEEL (10/5): Great apartment for tourists - There was a bit of language barrier but the people were really nice and helpful. The location is convenient because it is a short walk to Rosa Parks RER station.
Being on the outskirts of Paris made for a very different experience. There were few tourists, mostly locals. Having a kitchenette made life easier
- Gregory (8/5): Decent - Perfectly reasonable aparthotel and good price. Cooking facilities very limited (as is typical in Paris). Was clean and comfortable and well positioned
- Monique (8/5): - I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The bed was so comfortable, the room was very clean. Staff were courteous
- Francisca (10/5): - I would recommend this Property to anyone .
- Shalom (10/5): The hotel is superb and for us it is value for mon - My son liked the hotel and commented the room we stayed was very clean. He loves seeing the trains because our room was close to the train station and for us it is easy access to Central Paris. I told my husband that the hotel will be booked anytime we want to visit France on holiday.
- Jacqueline (8/5): - Loved how close it was to the RER transportation hub
Loved the beds
Loved the kitchen
The front desk people were not the greatest and could do better in dealing with guests
- Madison (10/5): - Nice place
- Enrique (8/5): - Not bad overall good place to stay
- Khalid (8/5): - Hotel is great. Staff is great. Area seems just dirty.
- Sara (8/5): Comfy and convenient - Loved this apartment - very reasonable price compared to other properties in the area. V close to the RER and the metro only 10 minutes walk away (handy to have both as there was often work on one of the lines in the evening). Room was comfortable and well equipped. Only thing we'd have liked extra would have been some washing up liquid!
- Debra (8/5): - Hotel room was extremely clean with all amenities and very comfortable bed. Good location beside the train station. Unfortunately, this also increased the noise level. Overall stay good.
- Georgia (8/5): A short stay in Paris - A great little studio, close to a supermarket and an urban railway. Well connected into getting to the centre. Kitchen well equipped although good to have washing up liquid and a sponge, however there is a dishwasher handy.
- Cary (10/5): - The hotel itself was exactly what we expected and what we wanted. Unfortunately the metro station nearby was closed for some reason, making local transportation more difficult. We would stay there again on a future trip!
- Makiko (8/5): - We enjoyed the stay at the Residhome. The location was good to.
- Jennifer (10/5): - great location
- Alex (8/5): Residhome Rosa Parks stay 22nd-29th August 2023 - For us the location was excellent. Eurostar to Gare du Nord and from there one stop from Magenta to rosa Parks, three minutes by train. From there 2-3 minutes walk to hotel. Nearest metro about 7 minutes walk and supermarkets all nearby. The room was tidy and clean and met all our needs. Unfortunately not long after arriving my wife got stranded in the lift. The manager handled it very efficiently and thankfully was able to get a lift engineer there within 30-40 minutes. The manager was extremely apologetic, arranged breakfast for us the following morning and promised us a rebate which will be returned through Hotels.com whom we booked through. Hopefully I will hear from them soon. We had a pleasant stay at Residhome Rosa Parks and would use again.
- Joan (10/5): Home ftom home - Have used Rosa Parks before, as always a warm, friendly welcome. My request was granted, room clean with well equipped kitchen.
Reception staff always friendly & happy to help
- Rajesh (6/5): Namesake AC hotel - The hotel controlled the AC and it was a horrible experience. Despite numerous requests they never brought down the AC to our desired temperature
- Arthur (10/5): Good staff - In Paris for a week
My only complaint is not with you but the RER stops that we’re closed
It made coming and going a chore
My room could have used a bigger garbage can that worked out lid was broken
And the safe did not work even after replacing the batteries (it had none installed when we arrived)
- Arthur G (10/5): Good stay
- Great location
- Aleksandar (10/5): - New, big and tidy studia apartament
- Joice Sofia Nedio Da (10/5): - Great location…
- Ingrid (10/5): - Near the E train with a few bakeries close by. If you are on a budget and want to stay in Paris this hotel is an excellent choice. Staff was polite and the room was very clean.
- Joan (10/5): Excellen5 - Warm welcome, alrhough it has been 2 years since we last stayed, the woman at reception recognised us immediately & welcomed us warmly. Thank you.
Room was clean, comfortable, kitchen well equipped & everyone friendly from reception to cleaning staff.
We will be back for sure
- Margaret (10/5): - We have stayed here before and were very happy to return. Clean rooms with large bathroom and kitchen with pans, cutlery, plates, cups etc. Excellent Boulangerie within 50m of the aparthotel along with Lidl, Aldi and other shops very close. Arrived from Gare du Nord, short walk to Gare Du Est (be careful. You could get Metro to Gare Du Est if you prefer). Train to Rosa Parks and turn right outside station. 8 minute walk to Criminee Metro station. We will return again!
- Francisco (10/5): - very friendly and helpful front desk, beautiful and clean room
- Mary (4/5): Customer service could be better - Air condition not properly. The property is right next to a busy train station and my window view was the train track. I stayed for 6 nights and never once was by beddings change and I was made to take out the bin to the trash myself.
Overall staff were unfriendly apart from 2 who were kind and helpful.
- Elanne (8/5): - Pros: The room was more spacious than expected, the bed was super comfy and we managed to get a view of the Sacré Coeur. Most staff members were friendly, accommodating and helpful.
Cons: You can feel the 'budget' aspect in things like the lack of toilet paper, soap and washing up liquid (especially as you're expected to wash your dishes), and asking for a towel change was more complicated than it should have been.
Overall good value for money. We had a good trip and would stay again.
- Steven (6/5): - Everything was perfect bar the housekeeping, no bed or towel change and no rubbish collection.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Apartment was clean and well stocked. Stayed overnight NYE, was glad to have RER and bus transport close by for getting to the city and Gare de l'est. Would stay again, great value.
- Ge (6/5): - Staffs are helpful and nice however It located In a neighbourhood with many homeless people.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Helpfull staff on the front desk for places to go.and see
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean and all staff are professional assisting the clients. Not knowing the area the staff were like our gps guiding us free of frustration. We are part of Ridehome family now anywhere we will travel our first will be our family.
- TaliaR (10/5): - 24/7 front desk worked wonders for is that our fligh land after midnight. They showed us how ro get to the train station and how to get to our second hotel sincè we have to switch hotels for 2 days beacise we booked last minute extra days due to us cancelling Venice trip.
Love the kitchen and dishwasher in the room.
- Mike (10/5): - Close to trains; hotel next to tracks. Food market is one block away; very convenient.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - whilst the location of the hotel didn't seem ideal, it is actually only 10 minutes from central paris via the metro (station is only 2 minute walk from the hotel). The staff were really helpful - let us check in early and leave our bags securely after we checked out. The room was great, really comfortable bed and it was really useful having a kitchen area Would definitely stay again!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Overall, ok-ish for the price and area. Really close to the station, easy to access central Paris, nice staff but they would never apologies if there is anything as if it's a rule. Just the manager will. Could be cleaner, dust a bit everywhere, dirty tv remote, dirty towel that you have to proof it's dirty to get it change and no apology for that. I will recommand to use the safe for your valuable items. Good mattress protector and well insulated. I'm not sure i iwill come back but for this price there are no much better hotel around.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was in a good location, plenty of shops and food places nearby . The hotel itself has very clean rooms and generally all round in great condition, was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was . The rooms were very spacious with good facilities and a fantastic bed ...a fab nights sleep .
Train stations was on the doorstop so great links into the city and travelling around Paris.
The staff were always happy to help and very friendly
Would 100% recommend to stay here
Thank you for a great stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel is clear the location is my far fro the train stations
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great location near Rosa Parks station which has the RER stop leading into main section of Paris. The area is mostly residential so not much to eat around the area. If I did it again, I would have stayed in 6th or 5th area of Paris since every few blocks is a metro station.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very modern inside and out. I love that there was a bedroom separate from the main room and that the sofa bed in the front room was so spacious. Great amenities in the room and a 2 minute walk from the train station. Black out blinds on all windows and door. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of the way to make our stay even more amazing.
- Ara M. (10/5): BEST BUDGET STAY IN PARIS - If you wanna go to paris and have a clean comfortable and LOW PRICED place to stay, this place is perfect. I literally have zero complaints. The ride to central paris may be slightly long but really, we enjoyed taking the metro over and back for just $6.
- Hussein (10/5): Great hotel if you have to be in this area - Hotel is relatively new and room was great - even had a mini kitchenette; Wifi worked great; breakfast was fine; table was a bit on the small size - ended up using the kitchenette counter sometimes. Did not realise the room was only serviced once a week - if I read the fine-print, I might have stayed elsewhere. Area was not the nicest to stay in, but I needed to be close to a particular conference venue. Hotel was virtually in the same building as RER E train station so very convenient to get to with a large suitcase in tow.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location was near a metro and tram line and is within zone 1 of Paris. However due to a miscommunication between expedia and Residhome, I was denied my breakfast on the first day, and despite chasing for an answer on how to resolve it, I've yet to get a response after 6 days of staying there. I'm somewhat ascertained that I will have to end up forfeiting the extra sum of money which I paid to have the breakfast...
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Bed was supper loved the little kitchen. Was close to grocery store and really good burger joint. Also close to subway/metro. Would stay again if I ever go back to Paris.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very convenient location next to Rosa Park railway.
The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spacious, though the shower door leaked.
The neighbourhood was a little seedy, with local migrants living in tents on the road side. However we walked around the district with no concerns.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice property and the staff was very helpful.
- Lay (10/5): - good location, room is big. Like the towels heater which works soo fast to dry clothes in the wet season.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Property is 1/2 block from the train station and train station is one train stop from Gare d Nord so commuting to/from airport and around the city a a breeze. Very clean with frig, stove, since, utensils.
- Paul (8/5): My birthday trip - Really lovely apartment close to transport and shops. RER trains only takes 8 minutes to city centre. Saw great show at the Mogador theatre.
- Joan (10/5): - As always, lovely warm welcome, clean, comfortable well stocked studio. Any requests handled with attentiveness. Thank you for a lovely stay again.
- Ellen-Edward (6/5): - I didn’t like the bottom rubber seal of the shower was never replaced in room 704 (bath floor had a coke soda can of water on it after every shower, never fixed, room change instead).
Room 717 was the best one except it was on the train station side, very noisy.
Room 800 had dishwasher problem. When used kitchen sink, water went into the dishwasher and onto the floor. This was never fixed. Our solution was turn on the dishwasher every time we used sink to prevent water getting onto floor.
The maintenance technicians are very bad. Problems don’t get fixed.
On the weekly Monday room maintenance clean up, we either didn’t get bottle of body/hair wash, body lotion, clean towels or toilet paper. When we had dishwasher and shower door problems, we got extra towels but nobody would take or come and pick up the wet dirty towels.
With all this water on the floor problems, I worry that children or elder people will slip or fall, and hurt themselves.
From my perspective, the hotel management does not have anybody following up the problems. The maintenance people are very bad. There is no pride in their work, poor or no quality. These people need more education on their work. DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!! SHOW ME THE PRIDE AND QUALITY!!! BE GOOD TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!
There was a lobby desk person, AXEL, who showed pride in his work and did his best to resolve room problems. The desk people were nice, noted your complaints, but many were not fixed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The shower was on the small side. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
- Gilbert&Claudia (10/5): - Great location close to the Metro, groceries stores and a great little bakery around the corner. Lots of restaurants within a short walk. It’s fairly new and very clean. The little kitchen had everything we needed. The staff was amazing, very helpful, knowledgeable, professional and fun. They all spoke English. Axel was especially wonderful as was one of his female partners who I’m sorry to say - I can’t remember her name. We had a form on our email that was very Important for us to have printed out. She did that for us. She and Axel went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Our room was wonderful with a view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance and Sacré Coeur! The house keepers were also very helpful. I did laundry using their facilities and it worked out great. Thank you for a memorable stay in a Paris!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room it self we didn't really have any problems with, as it had everything we needed and was cleaned to a fairly high standard. The only issue we had was the traffic noise. The hotel is situated right next to a busy railway line and road. We had a room which sat right on top of all of those things, so meant the times we were in the room we had constant noise. This is probably poor planning on my part as I should have done a little more research, but saying that if you are building a hotel there surely it should be a little more sound proofed?
Apart from that we were happy with the room and the staff at the hotel. The location was close enough to the Zenith de Paris, so we didn't have a long walk back.
