• Orinta (10/5): Perfect calm vacation apartment- superb view to the ocean - Spacious, fully furnished apartment with perfect view to the ocean. The neighbourhood is calm but there are enough restaurants and coffee shops within the walking distance. Great connection to the city center with public bus or famous old tram. Really enjoyed the stay! The supermarket for grocery shopping closes rather early.

Просторная удобная квартира, комфортная кровать, две комнаты, уютный балкон, два санузла. Чувствовался запах курения, хотя это строго запрещено правилами. Не работала вытяжка над плитой. У софы в гостиной одна четверть легко отваливается, садиться на её край нельзя - только глубоко.

• Mary (3/5): Ok venue. Very disappointed to get 1 bath towel for 5 days. And €200 fine per hour for leaving late - Only one bath towel each for 5 days is unacceptable in 30 degree s weather. Fine of €200 per hour for leaving late is excessive, and we didn’t see it in T&Cs. Just got a note 24 hours beforehand.

• Mondo76 (10/5): Exceptional - Balcony seaviews were amazing. Local neighbours and staff were very friendly and helpful. Kitchen and washing facilities was excellent. The location was fantastic and we experienced Porto outside of the tourist bubble. We travalled on the old tram into Porto which is situated a few minutes walk downhill towards the seafront, a must do at €8 for a return ticket. Also we had great walks along the sea front with plenty of local amenities on offer. There's nothing to moan about, really. We parked our vehicle on the street, and the area had a classy and safe feel. A few maintenance issues were raised with the agent, but nothing to ruin or disrupt our stay. We will be back.
• Bozena (2/5): Disappointing - Disappointing experience. At 11am same day, I sent an email saying that I would be at the apartment by 7pm. At 5"30pm, I found out that I have to either come at 6pm, or I have to wait until 8:30 or so to be let in. The building has a porter - they could have left the keys. The apartment has only one full bathroom and one half bathroom. The information on the apartment description is misleading. I thought, I was booking an apartment with two full bathrooms. Please make updates to the description. I asked the host to see if they can move us to a 2 full bathroom apartment, that was not possible, we were told no. The apartment was not clean. See pictures attached. Stain on towels, dust balls next to bed, no outlets in the bedroom (hole from the outlet in the wall), near the bed. The lamps were next to the bedroom bed, but they were not plugged it - just for decoration, so very little light at night. I mentioned to the host and again requested to be moved, they brought extension cords next day (without advising me, they entered the apartment without us being there, that wasn't appropriated in my opinion). Overall disappointing experience. The area itself is safe and close proximity to main parts of the city.

• Rachana (7/5): Good - Good space, with a great view. Not too far from public transport We had requested for a taxi for an early morning airport pickup and it never turned up. We had last minute panics due to this. However this may not be the direct issue of the property owners

• Alistair (9/5): We enjoyed staying in the apartment, its river quayside proximity and its easy transport links. - Very good location. Great view directly across the join of the Douro River and the Atlantic Ocean. The balcony looking over that is a real apartment plus. Easy to go west into the city centre or 'east', round the corner along the beaches to the fish restaurants, either for longer walks or by the 500 and 200 regular buses. The apartment is well equipped, with appropriate relaxing, furniture and will be as much a part of your holiday - for a break - as going out and about as well. Geared up to couples really, but would be OK with small children as well. We needed to go to a separate office location in another part of the city to get the keys first. This - I think - as our registration had not fully gone through when trying to do it on-line. There was a staffed office and everything about that was well done, other than our having to go there (relationship I think with collecting the local tax if not already paid to the apartment agency on line).
