• Ian (8/5): Lovely little hotel - Lovely design, part way between shabby chic and modern. Staff were fantastic, including a speedy clean up of a spilled drink. Breakfast was lovely too. Great selection without, as can happen sometimes, so much choice that you don't know what to get! Nothing major. It was a slightly longer walk into the Old Town but it ensured we got a good night's sleep just outside the hustle and bustle.

I had a lovely warm welcome on arrival, my room was spotless ( and I have been a cleaner for over 40 years) I was able to go out and find a local supermarket even at 10pm to get a few bits. The breakfast was amazing spoilt for choice and plenty of it. Fresh cold water from a dispenser near lift was a great idea. Bed was comfortable, shower perfect water pressure morning and evening. I had a little balcony that was a nice surprise.Staff arranged my trips and I was messaged time and what the car reg was and drivers name so felt very safe as a lone woman. First class all the way. There was nothing I would change.

• Yvonne (10/5): - We were on the fourth floor and it was a very warm room… fine once we sorted the air conditioning. The beds were comfortable and bathroom had clean towels and bathrobes. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful. Filtered water was available beside the lift with a carafe in the room.. easy to fill water bottles as well. Overall, the hotel is excellent value. The hotel is walking distance from old town but I would recommend taxi from train station, Bolt or taxis outside the big shopping mall. It can be a bit noisy with the trams but we got use to it. Make sure you close the windows

• Чорненька (10/5): - Сподобався наш номер, в кімнаті та у ванній було чисто, постіль біленька, рушнички були, халат, косметика. Ліжко дуже широке і зручне, добре виспались. Гарно пахло лавандою. Сніданки були чудові, ситні, десертів на будь-який смак. Адміністратор погано знає англійську. Все решта чудово.

• Paul (7/5): An ok stay. - Location was ideal. The bar ran out of beer. The full English breakfast is not that. It's just bacon, sausages and undercooked scrambled egg. They ran out of bacon and replaced it with potatoes.
• Alf (10/5): An excellent affordable find for a quality short break. - A great little budget hotel, 25 minutes walk from the Old Town. A nice friendly little bar space, big enough for our group of 10. The rooms, although not overly spacious, we're very comfortable. The bathroom was a very good size and well equipped. Always plenty of hot water. The breakfast was top not h. Yes, you paid 50 zloty each morning, (about £10) but there was loads of choice, hot and cold options, and never ending tea or coffee. I did look at local cafe's, they didn't come anywhere close on price. The staff at the hotel were all very nice, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Hotel Lavender. *****. Nothing. All great.

• Edina (6/5): Arra jó, hogy egy átutazóban egy éjszakát eltöltsön valaki, de több időt nem javaslom. Gyerekkel pedig végképp hanyagola - Elhelyezkedés, közel van a belvároshoz. Nincs parkolási lehetőség. Személyzet mogorva, nem igazán beszél angolul. Reggeli nem volt bőséges, kevés választék. Ráadásul mindig ugyanaz. Elviekben 10:30-ig volt reggelizésre lehetőség, de 9:30-kor már alig volt valami. Az asztalokat nem takarítják le, használt tányérokat nem viszi el a személyzet. Törölközőket elvitte a takarítónő, de nem kaptunk újat. A villamos nagyon hangos volt éjjel.

We have already told friends - Staff were very helpful and contacted us before arrival to see if we needed anything. Great distance to the main square and facility were appropriate for our needs. The tram out our window was a little noisy but wasn’t so bad that we couldn’t sleep.

Abbiamo apprezzato la presenza del dispensatore di acqua potabile fresca/frizzante ai piani. Personale accogliente La nostra stanza si affacciava sulla strada principale e si sentiva un po' di rumore al passaggio dei tram.

• Stephanie (7/5): Top Lage, top Frühstück, aber nichts für Geräuschempfindliche - Die Lage ist hervorragen: Zu Fuß ist man in wenigen Minuten am Hauptbahnhof mit riesigem Einkaufszentrum und in der Altstadt. Das Hotel ist schick designed, das Zimmer geräumig und modern. Super fand ich die Wasserspender auf den Etagen und die Karaffen in den Zimmern. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Ein Problem für mich war die Lautstärke: Schlafen geht nur mit geschlossenen Fenstern, am besten mit Ohrstöpseln wegen der Straßenbahn, deren Vibration man im 1. Stock bis ins Bad spürt. Gar nicht zu empfehlen für geräuschempfindliche Menschen sind die Zimmer direkt im Treppenhaus (z. B. Nr. 15). Hier hört man jeden Schritt und jedes Wort, als stünden die Leute mitten im Zimmer. Das Personal könnte deutlich freundlicher sein. Der Check-in war gut, der Check-out ein kurzer Blick und die kommentarlose Entgegennahme der Schlüsselkarte, während der Mitarbeiter parallel telefonierte. Und auch sonst würde dem Lavender-Team mehr Lächeln gut tun.

Room overlooked road and tram line. So NOISY late and then early in the morning. ( I missed this in reviews when booking and would not have booked. I did ask for a quieter room when booking). Solo traveller and only 1 keycard which means when I left, the fridge was off. Food spoiled. Needed 2 keycards.

• Jane (8/5): Excellent little hotel within near outskirts of old town. - Well located approx 15-20 mins walk from main train station. Takes about 12 mins to walk into main square. Hotel breakfast excellent, got and cold options. Towels changed daily. Staff all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated on a main tram route so trams do run until late at night. Back room of hotel aren't so noisy but front rooms would be quite noisy but this is at the convenience of being near the old town. Mattress could do with being a bit deeper but that's a personal issue

The tram outside the window is really loud, I didn't hear it only between 23:00-05:00. The hotel could provide earplugs in this case.

• Helerin (8/5): Good for the money - Room was clean and looked nice, not old or something. Good location. Not too many people, quiet, could not hear noose from other rooms. Our room was facing the street and tram was riding in front of the building from early morning, it was very loud. Also breakfast was tasty, but no gluten free bread, pastries and no plant-based milk at all.
