• Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely property, perfectly located in the historic centre, close to bars/restaurants/attractions etc. Friendly, helpful staff who gave great insight into the city, what to do and how to get around. The apartment itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, with the balcony over the main thoroughfare of Ruas Das Flores a perfect spot to start
• Verified traveler (6/5): READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK THIS APARTMENT - Just stayed here for 4 nights...I will first give you the Pros: 1) The location is great, near everything you need in Porto, and near railroad station and Douro River. 2) Apartment is newly renovated, in excellent condition (other than creaking and popping floorboards -- clean, except for some mold on bottom tiles of shower. 3) Price is fair for what you get. Cons: 1) Narrow street is full of construction, at least 4 building renovations with jack hammers and cranes from 7AM to 6PM...wouldn't have stayed here if I knew it. 2) More noise...street performers play outside the window from morning to 2AM... extremely busy pedestrian causeway with some homeless and occasional yelling. 3) Apartment is located on 3rd floor, no elevator -- 40 steps with 2 pcs. of heavy luggage is rough. 4) Cars not permitted (unless permitted), Uber dropped us off 2 blocks away. 5) Only 2 bath towels (1) each for a 4 night stay, with no means of washing them ... no extra garbage bags, not enough toilet paper, no basics in pantry. 6) Although it may not be needed, be aware there is no A/C.

• carter (8/5): Centrally located, lively and great access - The apartment is in a newly refurbished building, and overlooks a lively street with plenty of restaurants, tapas bars and coffee shops. A short walk to the metro and rail station and in the opposite direction 10 min walk to the Douro river. Porto is undergoing a lot of refurbishment with many old buildings being saved through restoration. The vibe is good and we would certainly return.
