• Guest (9/5): We had a lovely time and would not hesitate to stay there again. - Carlo was very responsive and a pleasure to meet. Water pressure in the shower was lacking, but that's seems fairly common in the UK.
• Guest (8/5): Very available and accomodating host the sofa wasn't.a big issue. - Breakfast from local bakery even for the dog!! Because it's a dog friendly flat I understand that it probably gets a lot of wear and tear, however perhaps the sofa could do with being replaced or recovered, just a bit tired.

• Bärbel (6/5): - Wir sind nicht anspruchsvoll, von daher für uns absolut okay. Schön geräumig, tolle Lage. Leider bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Sofa schon arg durchgesessen. Ein größerer Spiegel im Bad oder auf dem Flur wäre schön.

• Jane (10/5): A very relaxing stay. - Excellent location in the centre of the town. The property has a fully equipped kitchen so you can cook and didn’t have to spend so much money on eating out/takeaways. Cosy comfy sofa!

• Sheila (7/5): Large bright apartment but...... - Lovely bright apartment with plenty of space The apartment is a little bit tired and would benefit from a general freshen up. We were charged extra due to us having a dog but found the sofa was full of dust so probably hadn't been cleaned in a while. Our dog also retrieved an old pet toy from under the bed which was a bit disconcerting. It may be that this apartment is kept for pet owners but to be charged extra and then to feel as if the apartment has not been cleaned to a reasonable standard is disappointing
• Jim (10/5): Excellent stay in Forres - The apartment was ideal for us. It is right in the town centre, just a short distance back from the street, but it was nice and quiet so we had a nice peaceful stay. Supermarket, chip shop, Indian restaurant and community cafe are just a couple of minutes walk. The apartment was well equipped and clean with everything you could need. Plenty of parking room in designated private area. I could have done with instructions for the oven, as o managed to burn the bread but that's probably just me :)

The kitchen was set up well with coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishes, stove, oven, fridge, clothes washer, etc. There are two TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Just fyi, there is no dishwasher. There is also no a/c in the apartment and it gets very warm. I bought a couple fans and was comfortable but it is May and not overly hot like summer may be. The area around the apartment was very nice and the park was lovely. A nice beach is a short drive (approx. 4 miles) away. There are several restaurants. We ate at nearly all of them and never had a bad meal. My ONLY complaint is in regard to the bed and the sofa. The bed is hard and uncomfortable. The sofa seems to be broken down, probably from people sleeping on it rather than the bed. I slept on the sofa but did not sleep well as it was uncomfortable, but still more comfortable than the bed. I would have given this place a higher rating if not for the bed and sofa. A restful sleep is very important to me.

• Emma (10/5): Very homely - It was very warm and comfortable and right in the centre of town where I needed to be. Great to have flexible arrival & checkout I liked it all . Maybe one thing was it could have been a thicker duvet or a blanket available, that’s all .

It was a great location and was easy walking distance to all amenities. The location was lovely and peaceful. I will definitely be back whenever I come to visit again and will be recommending the apartments and Carlo to family and friends wishing to visit,.

• Richard (9/5): Great short stay. Just what I was looking for! - Convenience and location, and cleanliness. I was impressed. Good comms in advance of stay too. Nothing not to like. If any minor updates could be made, maybe a more comfortable mattress and possibly updated smoother locks on outer door. Only minor suggestions and would definitely stay again if in area.

• Ceri (8/5): Fantastic, comfortable and convient! - The location was ideal for what we needed, close to a local wedding venue, and a great location to go explore, the beaches nearby were amazing. The flat was comfortable and Carlos was great at communicating before the stay. It was a little cold, the weather turned the night we arrived and it was a little chilly, and it could maybe do with a bit of modernising but was overall a lovely place to stay!

• Jo (10/5): It was a delight to stay here, and it would be my first lodging choice if I return to Forres. - Lovely lodging! Great location in downtown Forres, tucked back in an alley a bit off the street, where it was quiet and private. The apartment was very clean and well-lit, was fully and tastefully furnished, including a large kitchen area with all the appliances and cookware/utensils to make meals if one desired. Windows were plentiful and easy to open. Local bus stops within a very short easy-walking distance. "No contact" entry instructions were thorough and simple to follow. Payment was made over the phone. All in all, it surpassed my expectations!

• Jillian (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional 1 bed property in the centre of Forres. The apartment was equipped to a high standard and was extremely comfortable and homely. I enjoyed my stay at 3 Varis Apartments very much. I was visiting for a friend's wedding and felt Forres was just slightly too far as I had to rely on taxis which ended up being quite expensive. My own fault entirely. If only the apartment had been in Findhorn 😊👍

• Michaela (10/5): Excellent base for a short break - We were pleasantly surprised at how well equip and spacious this accommodation was, amazing value for the money, first class throughout and very clean x Staff we met were very friendly x we chose it because we could bring the dog and we would use the accommodation in future. Very firm bed, low sofas and the floor in our apartment squeaked if you wanted to be picky. we were out most of the time so didn’t really bother us. Parking was off street about 50 metres away
• Corey (10/5): Above and beyond - For me and my Frenchie this was a very comfortable stay. I was a nightmare guest in that I locked myself out while walking the dog late Sunday evening. Although I had Marco’s number on my work phone I only had my personal phone in hand with 8% battery. Fortunately it was still light being summer. I phone Hotels.com to request help and they called back quite quickly to give me Carlo’s number and say he would be about ten minutes. Not only did he graciously let me in he also checked how I was enjoying the apartment and was very interested in my helping me have a positive experience. Then upon departure I forgot my electric toothbrush. I texted Marco once back home and he quickly confirmed it had been found and he would get it to a friend of mine in the area. Marco really went above and beyond and asked for nothing from me to compensate him. I will definitely stay here again if returning to Forres. BTW it’s a very beautiful area with a great mix of nature and amenities.
• James (8/5): - apartment was lovely, small issues, would have prefered bath sheet towels as opposed to bath towels. The shower was hot but not very strong. The bed was a pretty uncomfortable. . As i say these are small issues .would have no hesitation in staying again
