- Vicky (5/5): - It was a beautiful little house perfect for a stay and the hot tub after a long day was relaxing. That there was no hot water for a shower or a bath after being in the hot tub and couldn’t put the heating on because the house was freezing come the evening.
- Chigarira (8/5): -
- Thomas (1/5): -
- Stephanie (8/5): - The homie feel to the property and location -
- Rose (1/5): - No heating or hot water from the first night, inferior property offered, refund refused, absolutely appalling. Just hope nothing goes wrong with your stay because the owner is hard to deal with.
- isabella (9/5): - Cute cottage had allmost everything you need
I would say it 9/10 . Really good value No baking tray for the oven
The bed need to be softer
Tv could be update so people can log in to Owen steaming but it was nice not that have tv. There are did to watch
- Rob (9/5): -
- Gretel (9/5): Fabulous location and great place to stay - Like a home from home. Such a great location, very quiet and plenty of room for our family of 5 grown adults. We loved the hot tub and sitting around the kitchen table chatting and catching up.
- Kelvin (9/5): - A fabulous cottage. Beautiful home. We loved our stay. A bedroom downstairs was ideal for one of us who struggles on his legs. My only issue was that the mattresses could be better quality. We all found them a little uncomfortable affecting our sleep.
Would we go back though?
Absolutely 💯 %.
- Nichola (5/5): Poor !!! - Everything you need in kitchen It desperately needed a makeover
There was a double bed and 3 single beds every one needs a new mattress
The down stairs toilet hold a barbecue and hoover !! The downstairs shower room was unusable it was very unwelcoming dirty and mouldy
The hot tub area was green / black moss mouldy a good jet wash needed and a general tidy as well as front garden
The WiFi was terrible on & off every 10 min for the amount of people what could stay there there was only a 2 seater and a chair needs more seating…
Sorry but I wouldn’t recommend
- Donna (10/5): Great over nighter would love to return - Lovely cottage lovely hot tub pretty place everything you need Nothing we didn’t like
- Vanessa (10/5): An excellent stay, home from home! - Very homely, clean, view, convenient location for local amenities, hot tub. Would benefit from a bannister to hold onto to climb the stairs.
- Rebecka (10/5): -
- Sarah (7/5): Ok but could be better, good location - Hot tub was lovely, nice location, peaceful, nice beaches about 40 mins by car and nice hikes nearby. Host flexible with check out times . Has a washing machine and clothes horse, handy with small children on holiday Sofa was uncomfortable, was leather, would of been nice to provide blankets to make it cozier and it felt like cushions were always falling forward
Single beds down stairs, you could feel springs in mattress and needs black out curtains
Down stairs shower needs sprucing up , could be nice but has pipes exposed and shower curtain too short
No tin opener and no smart tv, would be good to have access to Netflix not just basic tv
Garden is a patio with a hot tub, needs a good clean, moss growing everywhere and table and chairs had rust all over them and no privacy as next door can glare at you in the hot tub, could be resolved with fencing or fill in rest of the wall
Could be a great little cottage but needs tlc and a few extras to make more cosy

- Leo_Lahiru (6/5): - The host was very kind, and the heating worked excellently Overall the stay was fine, but the cleanliness was below average, The showroom needs improvement
- Tina (8/5): - Lovely cottage, everything we needed and hot tub was great.Even tea coffee and sugar , which was a great after a long drive .Definitely stay again. Wet room could probably do with a bit of tlc but great place for a getaway. K

- David (7/5): Loved the cottage and location, friendly neighborhood, would definitely stop again. - Cosy, well presented, clean generally well equipped & quiet friendly area!! Nothing
- donna (8/5): Potential to be a 10/10 if the above was addressed. - Spacious, great location, warm, peaceful, well equipped, excellent value for money & Hot tub was really nice. Quality of workmanship need finer detailing eg: box in pipework in wash rooms, seal gap behind upstairs toilet, longer shower curtain so water does not pool on floor, no addition loo rolls, rear outside area would benefit from being spruced up & hot tub cover needs replacing, privacy from neighbours window that over looks the tub.
There was no guest info the for WiFi, emergency, etc & no reply from host after messaging them.

- Philip (10/5): Lovely property in a good location and with a hot tub! - We were visiting the area for a friend’s wedding anniversary and the location was perfect for us. A bonus that the property had a hot tub and allowed our dog to accompany us. Plenty of space and had pretty much everything you’d need. Clean and tidy. Perhaps a shower above the bath upstairs, the floor gets quite wet after 4 people have used the one downstairs. More cleaning products so as to tidy up after ourselves better. Though nothing that would prevent us from booking again.
- Paul (8/5): Good family and dog-friendly location for HoW line. - Good location for Heart of Wales railway and days out for station walks, starting with short walk to Ffairfach station. Kitchen adequately stocked with utensils, cutlery and crockery. Heating and hot water good. Short off-road walk to Llandeilo where there are supermarkets, cafes etc. Dog walks close by. A welcoming croissant on arrival. Mattresses a bit uncomfortable, but owner now aware and has said they will sort out.

- David (10/5): Beautiful, and such good correspondence from yourselves! Thanks - I thought it was a perfect place, loved it, you’ve done a great job , furniture and everything, you’ve put put together a great looking home! Would recommend to anyone…..Beautiful x! Nothing
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Lovely cottage we stayed 1-6sept 25, amazing location, not far from an amazing castle and amazing barn cafe. Llandeilo 5 minute drive away, or you can walk it take about 10-15 minutes.
The cottage was very clean and beds comftable.
Loved the hot tub and a lady comes everyday to put the right chlorine in it.
We took out dog and a lush nature reserve next to the sports center next door to it, lush nature walk for willow.
All in all lovely holiday, owners next door, very friendly. The weather. Lol but we used to it as we live in south Wales.
- Ben (9/5): Unbeatable value for money and a perfect base to explore South Wales. - The value for money is unbeatable - plenty of space (easily enough for a family of five), yet we stayed as a couple with our dog and found it perfect. It’s a clean, comfortable base for exploring South Wales, and people expecting luxury at this price are being unrealistic. If I were to suggest anything, it would just be relocating the hot tub to the other side of the patio for more privacy. Otherwise, no complaints at all.
- Paul (10/5): - Spacious, well equipped house in a lovely quiet location. Great communication from the host, and nothing was too much trouble.
Would certainly stay again. Nothing, perfect for our needs
- Gill (9/5): -
- Louise (6/5): Lovely cottage, needs a bit of love and a good clean and it would be fabulous. - Lovely character cottage in a quiet location. Lots of space inside. Hot tub a bonus! Bedding was damp and cold. Towels hard and ancient, we went and bought new ones. No welcome pack. No handrail on stairs. Double bed hard with lumpy pillows. No dropped kerb to park car. Shower had green algae. Lots of spiders! Curtains were hanging off rails. No WiFi.
- Tom (10/5): - Lovely little cottage
- Caroline (8/5): Lovely Cottage - Lovely cottage set in a beautiful town in South Wales. Large bedrooms and well equipped kitchen, which easily accommodated a family of five. The hot tub was a bonus and enjoyed by all. Patio garden was safe for our dog. Beautiful walk into Llandeilo, however other attractions that we visited were about an hour away in the car. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Downstairs toilet and shower room could do with some attention. Mattresses were a little uncomfortable.
- jennie (8/5): Lovely cottage in a beautiful location - Beautiful spacious cottage in a great location.
The hot tub was very nice and relaxing.
Off road parking was good and the lady that owns the cottage was very welcoming and friendly, she gave some great advice about walks in the local area when she was checking in to make sure everything was ok. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go back. The only thing that needs some attention was the shower, it needs fixing properly as it kept flooding out. I could have done with a mop and bucket to soak up the water on the floor and also the hot water kept dropping out.
- Vladyslava (10/5): -
- Danielle (1/5): -
- Garry (7/5): semi comfortable - The property could do with a face lift and a coat or two of paint ! shower need attention, It's in a great location but needs some TLC
- Lee (8/5): Very good - Hot Tub was a nice touch
Cottage felt welcoming
Location villages only 10 minutes drive away
Pubs /restaurants plenty with in driving distance No information welcome pack
No local information on walks, pubs, restaurants.
- Jade (3/5): Didn't feel like a holiday - Close to shops and an amazing chippy I didn't want to leave a bad review but it's come to this because our issues that I addressed to booking.com wasn't fulfilled with the owner, it just got ignored, which didn't sit well with us when we already weren't happy with the place and holiday experience as it was. Supposed to have been a 50th birthday celebration but was completely ruined.
- Paige (10/5): Amazing - Place was like home away from home. So cosy and peaceful. I didn’t want to come home! Location is lovely too, lots of lovely walks around. The owner was also so lovely and helpful, really enjoyed meeting her. Would recommend to anyone for a peaceful getaway. Thank you ❤️ Nothing
- Visen (10/5): home away from home in a beautiful location - location, staff communication, jacuzi, the house felt like home and the staff went above and beyond to deliver the bbq grill that was missing. n/a
- Helen (8/5): Very good - Very peaceful. Hot tub was nice. Good location for exploring the area. The host suggested visiting Laugharne which we did, and loved it. All good.
- Hayley (10/5): Great host, location and place to stay - This is the 3rd time we have been to Tregib Mill Cottage, it is so peaceful and the location is great. It really has become a Welsh home from home for us. Looking forward to being back soon.
- Evans (10/5): Exceptional - Brilliant cottage
- Brian (10/5): Wonderful house in an amazing location. Everything a family on holiday could want. - Easy to find, easy to access and it felt wonderfully secure. The house was very clean and had everything you need. The welcome tea and biscuits package was very welcome after a long drive.
- Bridget (5/5): For the price it was very disappointing. - Location Very tired and needs a refresh and good clean. Outside patio area needed pressure cleaning and furniture was so rusty you could not sit on it. Shower had mould and fur on pipes.
Bath towels were small and very worn and thin. While there was an iron there was no ironing board a small table top iron was delivered on request. Washing machine had mould inside and there was no line to dry clothes or rack. A rack was delivered on request. Food waste bin in kitchen had not been emptied and had old rotting food.
Pillows (except 2) were broken down and lumpy.
No instructions for any equipment, such that heater (which was very loud) came on at 2:30am, took a couple of days to figure out (via google) and adjust.
Moved to alternate accommodation ahead of check out date.
- Richard (10/5): Fantastic break in great location. - Big cottage, clean, friendly host. Great location. Nothing
- Kayley (4/5): Not the best. - Host left alarming message on dining table stating not to use hot tub with emergency service numbers. Heating didn’t work
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Prada01 (9/5): Home from home, lovely stay, great host. - Home from home. Host very accommodating. Will be visiting again. Couldn't fault it.
- David (3/5): Disappointed and several parts of listings needs updating, I.e. not hot tub and on site parking -
- Carmel (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect. Great communication. We had a really lovely stay here and hope to come back ❤️ Nothing

- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cronin (9/5): Superb - Very well appointed cottage in quiet location but short walk to great pub and lovely market town other side of the river. Highly recommended

- Kirsty (8/5): Very good - Spacious, two toilets, parking, secure back yard Maybe a clothes airer and possibly a mop
Also a bit of info in a welcome pack would have been helpful
- Stacie (10/5): Exceptional - Pet friendly and very comfortable to stay in I liked everything
- John (9/5): Spot on - Perfect for what we needed, a base for exploring, very affordable. Great shower, didn't have a bath but it looked clean, everywhere was clean. For the money it's spot on. I think the 20mph limit is going to put people off, my journey was long enough, throw in all the road work and traffic jams it became unpleasant. Not a problem for the property but you do have to get there.
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional - Perfectly placed, so much at your doorstep. N/A
- Louise (8/5): Perfect base, great for dogs, basic but comfortable - The house was a brilliant location, perfect for taking the dogs and was comfortable and self contained Struggled to get access, was a bit tired, but was a perfect base
- Anthony (6/5): Pleasant -
- Adrian (10/5): Lovely cottage with lots of privacy - Privacy
- Wade (9/5): Amazing stay would come again! - Great location and if you dont mind driving you can go many places. There a week and still couldn’t do everything. We had loads to do and loads we could next time. The tv was old, the downstairs toilet door is quite difficult to open/close, tap in the kitchen drips and the flush upstairs seemed abit broken. Honestly though all these things were very minor and the only reason it’s a 9 not a 10. Still an amazing stay!
- Josie (10/5): A brilliant place to stay - Lovely house in a great place
- Edwin (9/5): Superb - Lovely little cottage ideal for small family and ideal spot for getting around the area There was nothing to dislike
- Shaun (9/5): Superb -
- Belinda (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kay (8/5): Visiting family in St Clears - location excellent, house clean and quiet. - Size of property, kitchen, bedrooms Only one sofa for a house that sleeps 5. We had to sit in a line along it! As the floors are all tiled it is not comfortable to sit on the floor and sitting in dining chairs for the evening is very uncomfortable.
- Angela (9/5): very enjoyable short break - Convenient to lots good walks Nothing
- Stacry (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Nicolae (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (7/5): Good -
