• Candice (10/5): Fantastic thank you would definitely recommend - The room was clean and spacious, I come with my mother and nannan we stayed for 1 night and it was absolutely fantastic I highly reccomend. So super close to everything. The food was absolutely amazing and lots to choose from
• Sarah (9/5): - What can I say apart from I don't usually book guest houses as been disappointed but Donna was amazing from the minute we arrived she was so lovely to my son and I ,the room was actually split into a single bed separate from the double which was great as I went with my adult son it was lovely and warm we didn't sleep much so gave the score a 9 I feel a topper would make it much better we have those at home that is my only non positive thing to say ,the breakfast was delicious we were given a choice of food and enjoyed it very much ,the night before we attended the panto and Donna gave me information on places to buy our dinner we ended up trying a burger place it was really good and in town a great help to know about it as it did food my son who's autistic and fussy liked when we got back we watched a dvd we brought so great there was a dvd player as not many in places these days ,we had a shower I would have loved a bath but not one in our room but Donna said it's random when booking.com books the room we managed it was compact so my son who's well built struggled a bit it's in the double room part and the toilet is the single during the night wasn't that easy without disturbing my son but we managed. Nothing apart from the small issues stated above.

• Mitchell (8/5): Great Hostess - Very friendly host. The Chimes was walking distance to the town. We parked right outside, they also have permits to park on the road. Beds very comfortable and clean and has tea, coffee and biscuits in your room. Area was very quiet so a good night's sleep was had. Breakfast starts at 8am but as we were leaving at 6am Donna made sure we had a hot sausage sandwich to take with us. The bathroom could do with some modernisation.

Donna, the owner, was warm and welcoming, and the whole place was immaculately clean and well cared for. Breakfast was excellent – a freshly cooked full English, proper coffee in a French press, and delicious yoghurt with fresh fruit. My single room was cosy, with a private bathroom just outside (reflected in the price), and there are plenty of en-suite options too. Wi-Fi was fast, the shower was piping hot with great pressure, and extra tea and coffee in the lobby was much appreciated – especially as a heavy tea drinker! Parking was easy with a free Zone A permit, though I managed to park right outside most of the time without any issues (September stay). Highly recommended – clean, comfortable, and run by a genuinely lovely host. I'd gladly stay again.

• Dale (10/5): - What more can I say read the description everything is as it says. The location is perfect could not be better placed train station is 5 mins walk away in one direction, New Town centre 5 mins in the other, 10 mins walk in each direction to North or South bay beach, the old town which I recommend highly to real ale lovers 25 minutes walk or 5 mins on bus. As for the accommodation I had top floor single room with separate shower/toilet room next door, everything worked perfectly and was clean as expected. The breakfast was superbly well cooked with plenty of choice to suit all tastes & set the day up nicely. A special mention must go to Landlady Donna, always happy to chat & greeting you with a cheerful demeanor & smile as well as catering for everyone at Breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. This will be my first choice in Brid, if I'm lucky enough to get in.

• Steward (10/5): 10 out of 10 - All of it. Donna was extremely welcoming and the breakfast was the best I've had anywhere. Was the first break that me and my kids have had just us and couldn't of asked for a better first holiday. Reccomend to anyone with a couple kids for a short to medium stay.

• Julie (10/5): Amazing stay, lovely hosts, great breakfast, lovely rooms. - Everything, Absolutely lovely hosts Donna and Andy, breakfast was the best we’ve had in all the places we have stayed, my husband said he would come back just for the breakfast so thank you Andy, rooms were very nice and clean, beds very comfortable, bathroom facilities nice and clean shower was nice and water always hot, tea and coffee facilities are in rooms and extra top ups if needed were left out for guests, bottles of water in room on arrival is a lovely welcome, location to beach, shops, food and entertainment was 5 minutes walk away, we were able to leave our luggage until we were ready to go home which was very nice, a 10/10 stay for us and we will be back, thank you to Donna and Andy an absolute beautiful place you have and very welcoming. Nothing
