• Carlos (7/5): Sin dormir - Todo estuvo genial excepto que no nos fue posible dormir porque están ubicados costado a un bar que se mantuvo en escándalo hasta casi las 3 am que fue donde bajaron un poco el escándalo pero no significó que dejaran de hacer bulla y apagar la música. Y luego se oía que estaban cortando tubos o algo dentro de las instalaciones.

Bonne situation géographique pour explorer la région de Curubandé (Rincon de la viens secteur Las Pailas et chute La Leona). À 15 minutes de Libéria et 25 minutes de l’aéroport. Service au restaurant plutôt long et manque d’organisation (on doit demander pour de l’eau, pour des ustensiles, pour en avoir le bon nombre pour notre groupe). Ceci dit la nourriture est bonne et le personnel sympathique et avenant.

Very good breakfast is included. Wifi and adequate parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Pool may have needed more filteration. Wifi worked best in outdoor restaurant area.

• Laicina (3/5): Lot of potential but needs to prioritize hotel guests over locals - We stayed in cabin 1 for a night between flights. We chose this place because of it's proximity to the airport, the price, restaurant & pool. We weren't able to use the pool because of day guests but did have dinner at the restaurant. The food was excellent and the prices for the food was great! The rooms have great a/c and a small fridge. When we arrived we were looking forward to enjoying the pools but there were 15+ day guests using the two small pools, running, jumping and rough housing very loudly. When I asked the owner about this he said they would be gone by sundown and then I could swim. The day guest also had multiple dogs tied up outside their cars that would not stop barking the whole time they were there. A few notes about the room: the ladders are very steep & don't have good hand rails. As a very active mountain biker, I struggled with them. There are signs that the hotel does not take responsibility for utilities being turned off but they don't tell you this so we found out when our water didn't work at 5:30am before leaving. Our towels were also dirty and there was no hair dryer.

• Dolores (5/5): estubo aceptable pero no volvería. - la piscina es bien pero debería contar con referencias sobre profundidad y algunas reglas para mejor manejo en el hospedaje. la ubicación está bien pero el acceso es escondido, la calle en malas condiciones, es oscuro y en las noches cuando regresamos el acceso al hospedaje estaba cerrado, la recepción siempre está cerrada, tenemos vehículo electrico y no encontramos cargador.

• Lee (7/5): Cute cabins on a quiet street but only 4 kilometers from Liberia; if you want hot water, ask ahead - I like to stay at a hotel that has a restaurant and bar on site, which this one did, tho the bar seemed limited. The woman at check-in told me dinner was at 7pm but we were hungry and asked and she cooked dinner for us much earlier as we had missed lunch. The meal was decent. A hearty breakfast was served. The cabin was roomy and comfortable, decent beds and pillows. We also liked the quiet location. It was 4km north of Liberia just off the highway, but was far enough off on a quiet back road that we heard no road noise and it was more rural so no neighbor noise. The property was fenced, plenty of parking. There was a kid themed pool area tho we did not use it The negative for us was no hot water in the shower. That evening as I was ready to get into it and couldn't get hot water, I did not want to get dressed to complain, so I rinsed off. The following morning my husband wanted hot water for shaving. We told the woman about the problem and she said she would have a guy look at it. No one did, so we never did have hot water, which was annoying. My husband checked the hot water heater behind the cabin and said it appeared to have been off for along time. Perhaps they never have hot water.

Food was way overpriced. They also said that breakfast was available until 11 but were wrapped up when we got there at 10:30.

• Jody (9/5): Superb - The kitty Luna made our stay perfect! We were missing our own kitty's. The facility was beautiful very popular with locals on the weekend. Food great staff helpful. The manager took us to the airport at 4am!
• Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly, the food and drinks were great, they had upbeat, fun music playing during the day (which I felt like created a nice atmosphere), and the cabin was very comfortable! My family and I are very happy we chose to stay here. Also, the staff gave an excellent restraunt recommendation to go to Bar Restaurante Chaparrastique- Restaurante Chaparrastique once the kitchen at the hotel had closed. This restraunt is down the road from Hotel Cabanas La Teca, and, again, we were met with an awesome staff, amazing food, and the drinks were great at this restaurant! Some of the best food we had the entire time we stayed in Costa Rica. I'm super happy with our whole experience! Next trip we definitely want to stay longer than 1 night at Hotel Cabanas La Teca. We stayed here because it's so close to the airport. No complaints.
