Guest Reviews
- Lisa (10/5): - The people make this spot!
- Eduardo (6/5): - No comments
- Gaye (10/5): - Used the room.
- Victoria (8/5): Rough start, but we made it work. - Absolutely unimpressed with the fact i was told i didnt book the cottage I had clearly booked and had to resort into unpack a weeks worth of matierals for 4 people into a tiny cabin whwn we had clearly booked the largest cabin.
- Sparsh (2/5): - Private beach is unique. What I didn't like about this property is how the staff treated us when we reached there to check-in.
- Corey (2/5): - Bathtub dirty, no power, staff was super rude. Would never stay here again.
- Danita (10/5): - Awesome little gem, older hotel so don’t expect anything fancy but the staff and views are incredible. We stayed in a cabin and would definitely come again.
- Daniel (10/5): - everything was awesome except the noisy air conditioner..the beach is right there and that alone was great...the service is very good and the room is clean....i would go and spend more time there in the future ......a newer less noisy air conditioner would be recommended
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We don't know what we would have liked about the property as when we got there, there was no one to check us in in spite the fact that we had pre-booked online a few days before. There was no one in the office and we were told that there were 'No Vaccancies" by i'm guessing a neighbour. So we didn't get to stay the night. Very disappointing as it was later in the night after a long drive from Kitchener.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - ot was very dirty amd the door didmt lock properly
- Tim (2/5): Terrible - Too much to write about it was disgusting.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Overpriced and unclean - Cute little cottage upon first glance, but once we had the time to settle in and look deeper it was pretty disappointing. Not very clean. Cobwebs in most of the corners. And spiders, in the middle of winter. Service wasn’t good either.
- Weekender (4/5): Quiet Motel - The Glenwood Motel hasn't been updated in a long while. It is clean but there are no amenities with the exception of a microwave and mini fridge. There are pink fixtures and no plug in the bathroom. Not even a hanger in the closet. They take out the trash daily - that is all!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Excellent location , right on the beach - Lovely view. Cottage could have been cleaner, cobwebs galore. chintzy with coffe, toilet paper and towels.
We thought we had rented a cottage but they had us down for a room . A different rate then we had been told . We rented online with Expedia so that is on them , I believe. We got the cottage anyway. Nothing fancy but it did the trick.
- s ward (6/5): Right on the waterfront - Not a 5 star but the location is nice. Small sandy beach, great for long walks and perfect spot for sunsets. Right in town, close to everything. Building could use updating, in need of new windows. Bed and pillows were comfortable and towels soft.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst customer service - I have never experience so such bad customer service. We called ahead to request a late cheque and were assured it would not be a problem. Upon arrival at 11:15 pm, no one was there and we had to find somewhere else to stay. Concerned that we would still be charged, we tried to resolve the matter directly with them which proved impossible as they were quite rude and then very difficult to get a hold of. We had to resolve it through hotels.com. Do not book here.
- CLP (4/5): Not the best experience - Cob webs everywhere, cup with old cigarettes in the window sill, wall not finished between bedrooms. Very low to no maintenance, neighbors live there and used our entry to cabin as a social smoking area. Always had to ask them to move and walk through clouds of smoke...the cabin is suppose to be non-smoking. Bathroom clean but really out dated. 4 people booked to stay but only 2 towels. No one at front desk. This is a low class property used for low class Living. Would not recommend it
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome - Enjoyed the location
- Simon (2/5): Worst Motel ever - Horrible, dirty mice in the room, I wanted to check out but everything in North Bay was booked. This Motel shouldn't even be listed on Hotels.com
